Kirstie Kelly Signature Bridal Collection Returns to Bay Area With Exclusive ... MarketWatch (press release)

LOS ANGELES, CA, Sep 29, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- After offering brides across the country the opportunity to own couture-inspired wedding gowns at a fraction of the cost, the Kirstie Kelly Signature line returns to select Northern California Costco locations with an expanded line of beautiful, yet affordable, wedding gowns.

Joining the six original gowns in the Kirstie Kelly Signature line, the six new gowns feature classic silhouettes; gorgeous fabrics and top-of-the-line fit and finish. The collection of 12 styles features feminine embellishments such as tiered organza, crystal or pearl beading and hand-rouched details. With wedding dresses ranging from $650 to $1,400 -- starting at 40% off retail -- each four-day trunk show offers brides-to-be a limited opportunity to find a designer wedding dress at an unprecedented price.

"I started my career in San Francisco over a decade ago and it was important for me to return back to this area when we launched the Kirstie Kelly Signature program back in February. The program has made its way across the country and I wanted the very special brides of the Bay Area to be among the first to see these six new, beautifully designed gowns," said Kirstie Kelly.

Any opinions on John Frieda Salon Los Angeles in Los Angeles, CA?

check out this hair stylist; demetrius pombo.

My opinion John's place is that he is still able to pay the rent, so he must be doing something correct. As to Demetrius, Hah!!

Do you know where I can get a good scene haircut in Los Angeles, CA? ?

See I am getting a scene haircut, and I want to hair salon that knows what a scene haircut is, (i cant go to my hair salonist because she refuses to give me cuts like that, [she thinks im too young, im 14 turning 15.] and I need a really good one, that can do it good and right, thank you!!!!!!

Anyone Know of a Good Hair Stylist in Los Angeles,CA who does African American Hair Extensions/Weaves, Braids?

they need to be punctual and show up when they make appts.
I am a great tipper. My last stylist for a tip I gave her tickets to RKelly Concert, $$ and I am always on time for appts usually show up early. But most of these Women don't show up for the appts. They are always late and I like to look good. If you know of anyone they don't have to be Black as long as they know how to fix black people's hair. I would love to hire them but they MUST be good.

if you know of anyone like this have them email me or give me the beauty shop/salon info and contact number so that I can call them.

thanks so much

hey i know how you feel. i wish they had some in las vegas. its hard to find folks of color to do your hair. . but if i knew i would tell ya , good luck

In the average, HOW MUCH DO THEY CHARGE IN A SALON TO PERMANENT STRAIGHTEN HAIR?

I want to get it PERMANENT STRAIGH. And i mean in a cheap salon (In Palmdale or Los Angeles CA). My hair is up to my shoulders a little lower.

a beauty school will maybe charge around 25 dollars.. but i would think it depends on how slow or fast your hair grows.. thinking that after 3 months, your roots would start 2 grow in curly again.. and there are beauty supplies store's i would think would sell straighteners.. ask them what is best 4 your hair..

i think about 200 to 700 hundred dollars depending on the method. ask around.

oooh man i heard that its alot not sure tho

more money than u have

depends where you go but iits usually anywhere from $20 to $50

anywhere from 80 -100 dallors...same hair length and i tipped like 50 cus they have to flat iron ur hair afterwards

I believe it's called Japanese straightening. $700 AUD, depends how long your hair is. Can be moer.

the danny g guy is all wrong!! i have gotten my hair permanently straightened 3 times in the last 3 years and it was $400 but it lasts for a year! best thing i have ever done lol

Why don't you just go to a Sally's hair store or any hair store and do it yourself that's the cheapest because I can buy one myself for 6 dollars the salon will charge me 60 just to do it save an do it yourself

Its like 70 dollars here.

I'm not really sure. Bye.

Sincerely,
Samantha Thompson

about 50 dollars

Maybe $40 if you call around.

Well its according to where you go to get it done and what kind of sylist that you use...its accoriding to how good that you want it to look!

between $70-$100 depending on the style you get afterwards

your lookin at around 85-100 dollars

How much should I expect to pay for the following hair services at a beauty salon?

High-lighting roots, haircut, and blow-drying all together, in Los Angeles, CA?
Is $100 a lot for that?

No, $100 is not a lot to pay for that. At our salon you would pay more then that, probly about $130

no 100 is definately not a lot...If you know of a salon you could go to the website and check it out...or if you know of any you could get an estimate online.
I'd say about $100-$150 but it really depends where you get it.

no, for that area that is great!!!

high-lighting roots will be about 40, a cut maybe a 40-50, a blowdry maybe 30, so bout 100-150!

Need help with transfering a business lease?

I have a 5/5 option on los angeles, ca. My business is a salon - I am on my second year and I have a buyer for my business. I gave the landlord the credit history of the buyer and check okay - but it has been 2 weeks - and i kept calling every DAY and he kept on saying he will get back with me. What is he up to ? Fyi - my business is a profitable operation - I am not sure what trick he is trying to pull - ?

If you can show the landlord acts in bad faith in denying the transfer you may have a cause of action for an intentional tort

victoria's secret hairstyle?

anybody know any GREATTTTT salons in Los Angeles, CA? i know the Vidal Sasoon is really good. im looking for more places. what kind of hair do the Victoria's secret models have? like alessandra ambrosio, marissa miller, adriana lima, etc. i reallyyy want their hair~ i love them. they're the best models ever. not like those pin thin ones.

I really like Aveda salons. I live in Pasadena, CA and we have a really great Aveda salon, but I'm not sure where in LA you live. Try looking for an Aveda salon near you:

http://www.aveda.com/templates/door/locator.tmpl

If you want a Victoria's Secret model-type style, ask for loose waves. Tell your stylist you want Giselle Bundchen's style - everyone should know what you mean!!

Which haircut machine should i buy?

i'm planning on buying my husband a machine to cut hair (he cuts his own hair). his old one doesn't really work and i want to give him a really nice one for christmas. i was thinking about the CONAIR brand but i don't know which one to choose. Here's the website http://www.conair.com/-c-54_17.html. Im not an expert and well informed about which one is best suitable for him. but if you can help, i would really appreciate it. and if you have any other brand suggestions i would be glad to hear them.

also where can i find these haircutting machines? i live in Los Angeles, CA, and i would like to purchase it in a store nearby, without the price being to exaggerated like some salon stores.

wal mart are a good place,,,cant go wrong with a CONAIR. Sally are sort of high priced. men dont really care too much as long as the nose hairs are tightly trimmed :)
