Sebring stifles Avon Park Tbo.com

SEBRING - The Avon Park girls soccer team can be forgiven for having some first-game jitters during Saturday's game with Sebring. Not only was it the first game of the season for the Red Devils, it was the first high school game ever for a number of them.

The Blue Streaks were able to post an 8-0 victory in a rare afternoon game at Firemen's Field.

"We're a really young team again this year," said Avon Park coach Jordan Dancer. "I hate to use that as a crutch, but we have eight freshmen and three sophomores on the team."

After dropping a couple of tough contests to start the season, Sebring came into the game riding some momentum after Thursday's 1-0 victory at Tenoroc and were applying pressure on the Red Devils right from the start, registering their first shot just 30 seconds into the match.

Sebring got on the scoreboard just over four minutes into the contest when Sarah Smith blasted one just off the hands of Avon Park goalkeeper Rosa Cuellar and into the back of the net.

Avon??????

I was wondering how you would become an Avon representative and what exactly you do and how you do it? How do you get paid?

Here is their site ...you can even apply on line and I think this site will answer alot of your questions ....

http://www.youravon.com/REPSuite/static/BAR/living_life_avon.html

Hope this was helpful ~~~

to become an avon rep you need to contact one in your area, you sign up under them, usually it costs about 10 dollars to sign up, you pass out the books either by "tossing" which means tossingn them like a newspaper onto porches or hang them on doorknobs of homes or even place them in laundrymats/librarys/banks/hospitals ect ect, you collect orders from people then place them online or on the phone to avon, when the order is delivered to your home you seperate it out into each persons individual order then collect the ammount for each order, the ammount you owe avon is less than the ammount you collect so when you pay avon what you owe them the rest is yours to keep. hope this helps

you get paid on a percentage that you sell .

you can apply online or now they have this thing where you sign up online and instead of having to go out and meet someone to sign you up, you do it all online but you have to have a credit or debit card to pay the 10.00 fee. That fee includes the cost of your startup material (brochures for two campaigns, tote bag, information on selling Avon) UPS will deliver your start up materials to you within one week...that way is alot easier to do if you don't have time to meet with someone to sign up. If you want the link to go to just email me.

You can become an Avon rep by finding an Avon leadership rep nearby or you can also sign up online with a select few reps in the online appt program (I am one...see my profile for more info) Or you can go to Avon.com and a District Mgr will call you (least best way to join).

How Avon works is you sell the product to family, friends etc. Avon bills you the discounted price. You collect the full price from your customers and the difference between the 2 is your paycheck. I dont' find the ordering and delivering that time consuming but you do need to find customers. You don't want to depend on your family and friends but they are a great place to start. You definately need to expand beyond them. You can ask them to share your brochures with their family, friends, and coworkers. Talk to the people you come into contact with every day....coworkers, mom's at the bus stop, neighbors, the people at the local deli where you get your coffee in the morning, the tellers where you do your banking etc etc. They call it the power of 3. Talk to 3 people a day about Avon. Collect a 100 no's in 30 days....chances are good you'll get more yes's than no's.

For your first campaign you will earn 50% commission when you place your order online. For your Second, Third, and Fourth campaigns, you will earn 50% commission provided your orders are greater than $50, and you place your orders online. After your first four campaigns, the commission structure is as follows:
Order Size Earnings
$1550 or more 50%
$900 - $1549 45%
$425 - $899 40%
$285 - $424 35%
$145 - $284 30%
$25 - $144 20%
$00 - $24 0%
Licensed products are earned at 20% commission.

The more you sell the more you make after the first 4 campaigns. If you want to be successful it does require a good amount of commitment. With any sales job, the more you put into it the more you get out of it. If you want to make money you have to treat it as you would any job or busines you would do. If you just want a hobby and treat it as such that's all it will be. Signing up does not mean money and customers are going to fall out of the sky into your lap. Avon is quality products at affordable prices, has something for everyone and there are many people who love it but you do need to actively find them.

I have more info and Avon FAQ's on my profile. Feel free to contact me with any other questions you might have.

Hello
Selling Avon is actually pretty simple. I just joined Avon May14th and already I am doing alright. Until you build up a steady client base it will be a little bit slow going. You do have to purchase your own brochures or Campaigns as Avon calls them, but they are not too expensive. Of course it also depends on where you live. I live in Canada, Ontario and 10Camaigns are $10 and 20Campaigns are $13.40. Not too bad.
There are samples that you can buy to hand out with your brochures to help with your sales. Most likley is someone likes the sample you gave to them they will buy it.
You also get advance brochure for yourself only that you can order huges amounts of items at lower than half price. You see these items usually two to three campaigns before your clients do and you can buy them for mostly less than half price. These are full size items and are the anticipated bestsellers of the campaigns.
As far as "getting paid" goes, it's NOT Avon that pays you! It is you that pays you!
For example if you sell lets say $400 (again depending on where you live) You will make 40% commission on your total sales ($400).
Less sold.....less % paid..... more sold.... more % paid!
You are basically selling your OWN products. It is like Avon is YOUR very own store and you are buying these items for your clients at discounted prices and selling them to your clients for full prices. You know what I mean? lol
I will most deffinatley be confusing for the first little bit. I work a full-time 50 hour a week job, but now i'm doing Avon on the side.
Though they don't give you a lot of information on the Avon web sites. You will have to set up a meeting with your local Avon district representative.
Go to www.avon.ca (for canada)
and www.avon.com (outside of canada)
Just fill out the form they give you online and your local rep. will most likley contact you within a couple days to set up a meeting. It only takes about an hour.

All in all, I am still getting used to it myself, but i already find it to be a worth-while side job. If you wish to make full time job out of it, then all you have to do is sell as a rep. for little while and then apply as a district rep. ( I asked my district rep how she got her job)

Well though many people have already replied to your question, I hope that this will shed a little bit more light on it!

Good luck and have BEAUTIFUL AVON DAY!

Is there an Avon Representative who actually makes a living selling Avon?

I know several Avon reps. but none of them make enough money to live on. They all tell you it can be done and there are women making six figure incomes. But I have yet to meet one. All the Avon reps. I know make their living at other jobs.

I know one person that makes a living. It's an older couple and he and his wife recruit and sell. It's alot of work, you have to recruit and sale to make the money your talking about.

its .multi level, you have to recrute to make money google"is avon multi level" and read

How do you sell Avon without any friends or family?

I'm an Avon representative and this is my only source of income.

I can't get a real job,no one will hire me and I have health issues.

So how do I get sales?I have no money to invest.

I want to make money not put out more.

Disrtibute several catalogs around your neighborhood.

Make up a "nice to meet you" letter introducing yourself and letting everyone know you will be of service to them.

Once you have a little more income, offer freebies with your orders. (people loooooooooove free stuf!)

Best time to sell is NOW being it is before Chrsitmas. People love the convenience of having things brought to them rather than shopping at a store. (no one has time anymore!)

Door to door sales

Advertise on bulletin boards at the store, get a web site, tell people about your business.

You should talk to the person who signed you up and your district manager. They should be willing to go with you around your neighborhood to distribute catalogs. They can also give you ideas on what works best for your area. Also, find out when the sales meetings are and go.

Try something this is free or that you can do online. I work online and I started a home based business with a company that is 100% free and totally different. It's legitimate and not like anything else around. There is nothing to sell, no meetings, and all the tools are free. It's an honest company with good morals and we are trying to help everyone who wants to work at home and make some extra money. Again it's free so you have nothing to lose.

It is possible to work for an honest company, at home with no cost. No matter what people may say. Let me know if you want more info.

How does Avon pay out money they owe erepresentatives from website sales?

If the customers pay up front using their credit cards online and Avon automatically takes the money I owe them and gives me a credit for what they owe me, how do I get my credited money that they owe me into my checking account? Does the credit just keep adding up and sitting there. Does Avon cut a check for what they owe me or can I transfer that money into my bank account online somehow? Please explain to me how this works.

When someone orders from your website the amount that you would of received a commission onn gets credited to your account. So when your placing your regular order you would owe less money. They don't cut checks to you for that purpose they only cut checks when you earn bonuses.

I think they suppose to cut a check every two weeks for ereps website sales.

Signed up to do the Avon walk but can't walk now. Should I tell my sponsors?

I don't want to necessarily lie but I signed up to walk in the Avon walk and raised all my money. But knee and hip injuries are not allowing me to walk now. Should I be honest with my contributors or just don't say anything? I feel bad b/c they all gave me money and don't want them upset and disappointed. I'm planning on volunteering instead to at least be a part of it. Thanks.
Thanks. I will tell the truth. I just feel bad!

I'd tell them, I think most people would still want to donate the money anyway...

You should tell them because if they find out, they will never trust you again. Most of the people are going to tell you to keep the money anyway.

Is it safe to use Avon Bug Guard on and around your animals?

I am hesitant regarding it even though Avon says yes. I wonder about an adverse/allergic reaction to the ingredients.
This is sold as Skin-So-Soft Bug Guard Plus Insect Repellant - It contains a warning keep out of reach off children nad has a first aid listing also.

it is safe!
my mom sells avon
and i use it around all 9 of my pets...
nothing happens!!

It only says keep out of reach of children because little kids arent smart enough to know that bug guard is poisonous so they will open the bottle and drink it.

Bug Guard?
Never heard of it.
(My mom sells Avon)
The only thing i know that is safe on animals is the Skin So Soft Original Oil which keeps the bugs away.
In the summer, we use it on our dogs.
I have a friend who uses it on her horses.

I sell Avon myself and although I have never used the Bug Guard on my dog I have used the Skin So Soft Oil.

How do you become an Avon representative?

I don't really know anything about them though. I just know my mom's friend at work sells Avon. And I wanna know if you can sell it at age 15? I'm really hoping you can.
I mean, it would make sense...A high school teen selling makeup to her friends that are GIRLS would be pretty successful, right?
So could anyone tell me a little about it?

Basically you either go to the Avon website, then click on the link to become a representative, fill in your info, then someone(usually a lead rep) will call you within the next day or two to talk with you. I think it still only cost about $10 to start. I did it years ago. It's fun but you really have to know a lot of people and/ or be a outgoing person who can strike up a conversation with a complete stranger to make good money at it.
Since you're so young (I think you DO have to be at least 18) you may want to ask about their other selling option "Mark"

you have to be at least 16

i did it when i was young
personally its crap, they sell everything
its like a walmart, its not just makeup
its clothes,tupperware,everything

i thought it was weird

go with arbonne or jafra
a real cosmetic company, where the products actually show results

and yes u can sell a lot of stuff, but then theres
minimum orders to stay "active" in selling
a lot of things to think about
you have to buy your books to give to friends every couple weeks. etc etc

Hi
this a link to the join avon website
http://www.joinavon.com.au/welcome
Though on the website it says that the minimum age is 16 so sorry

You can learn more about selling Avon on my website,
Email me and we'll talk about your options.

I just signed up to sell Avon. Does anyone have any good advice on how to find internet customers?

I just signed up yesterday to sell Avon. Does anyone have any good advice how I can find internet customers? I love the website. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was in the same spot as you, has an online business, but didn't know how to promote it. I then joined a Search Engine Optimization University and learned what I needed to know (much cheaper than I would have paid someone else to do it).

I will leave the link for you to get more info. If you join up to the mailing list on that site, you will get an three part article on free online marketing. Some pretty easy stuff that will get you started.

How does one get started with selling Avon products in Singapore?

I am from Singapore and there's no Avon rep office here. Been using the products on and off, they are pretty good! So am looking at trying my hand at selling them.
I have tried the Avon USA website but there is no information. Also sent an email to Avon in Australia. Hope there'll be a reply.

Maybe you can contact other Avon offices from Australia etc. and ask if its possible for you to become a rep there. You could even begin the Avon chain there in Singapore

What is the best way to sell Avon. I just started selling, how should I approach my marketing?

I am a full time mother and Paralegal. So I don’t have all the time in the world but I do have a network of friends and groups but they already have an Avon rep. Any POSITIVES suggestions?
