Lake Worth Chiropractor Announces Non-Invasive Pain Management Treatments MarketWatch (press release)

LAKE WORTH, FL, Oct 12, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Dr. Jack Cacic, a Lake Worth chiropractor, announced his success with non-invasive pain management. Dr. Cacic uses chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy and physical therapy to help patients manage neck pain, low back pain, joint pain and hip pain. While Dr. Cacic cannot cure conditions like fibromyalgia, his natural treatments can provide pain relief. Dr. Cacic has been serving the Boynton Beach, Green Acres, Lantana, Palm Springs and West Palm Beach communities for over 10 years at his practice, Dr. Jack Cacic Chiropractic.

Lake Worth chiropractor, Dr. Jack Cacic announced that he has successfully helped patients achieve pain relief through chiropractic adjustments, massage treatments and physical therapy. While Dr. Cacic cannot cure conditions like fibromyalgia, his treatments can relieve the chronic pain symptoms associated with them.

"Many of my patients suffer from chronic back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome or headaches, and I see every day just how debilitating these conditions are for people," said Dr. Cacic. "Unfortunately, traditional medical care relies on prescription painkillers to mask the pain rather than providing true pain relief. When the medication wears off, the pain comes right back. I believe in treating the condition underlying the pain in order to achieve true, lasting pain relief."

Back Massage Therapy Demonstration For Stress & Relaxation

Back Massage Therapy Demonstration You have probably heard of many different types of massage such as Japanese massage, Yoni Massage, Thai Massage ...

Back Massage?

My roomate is taking an eight hours flight. He always get back pain after flying. I would like to give him the best back massage when he gets back. I was just wondering if u guys have any tips on how to give the best back massage.

Warm oils and firm touches are always a good thing but a word of caution... if he is has a bad back from eight hours of flying, he may want to actually go to a professional. If you are novice at it there is a chance that you could make the pain worse... and cause more complications. Its easy to think that a massage is a masssage is a massage... but the difference between professional and amature could be frequent trips to the doctor later on in life.

SMIRK!!!!!!!! :)

Backrubs are great. Why don't you treat him to a professional massage at the YMCA...matter of fact, you could both use a great massage at the YMCA.

Smoothly and forcefully, waist to shoulders, thumbs on spine, stretching muscles and ligaments.

Rooster,

Good hot shower first to loosen him up, then use some nice pleasant smelling warmed body oil.

I wait until you finish with him then you can do my bad back. :))

How solicitous you are!why don't u find a professional massage teacher?A website called Pubspa.com,where u can meet many friends who are good at massage tips.I think they'd like give u some help.

What is the style of massage called when the person walks on your back?

I want to learn more about the style of massage where the person giving the massage walks on the person receiving the massage's back. I was told it was Thai massage but I don't know what to call it to find out more! I am interested in learning how to do this but I don't want to break someone's back trying!

Ashiatsu certification is a 3-part process. Cost is $550 to learn the basics and is available to massage therapists only.

I should add that there are other barefoot Swedish therapies. Receiving a Thai massage is similar to doing yoga, except the therapist is manipulating your body into stretches and positions!

I don't know the name of it but it feels real good. I weigh 200 and the person that walked on it was 117. It felt really good too

Is that a 'foot massage'? <wink...I couldn't resist>

It sure sounds good, though, just the thought of it!

Kelley

It is called Barefoot Shiatsu

What type of massage is best for shoulder and back tension?

I've never gotten a professional massage before, and I'm trying to figure out what kind would be best for my situation. I'm a musician with bad neck, shoulder, and back tension. Would a deep tissue massage be too intense for a first-timer? What is a reasonable price for a 45-60 min massage?

For getting a massage for the first time deep tissue will leave you sore. The soreness comes from the lactic acid that is accumulated from contracted muscles not getting enough oxygen which in turn causes knots or adhesions. When you are tense all the time we take shorter breaths and you're body stays positioned in one place for too long.

Get a therapeutic or customized massage meaning they adjust the pressure to you're muscle tonality and you should not feel uncomfortable. A resonable price for a 1 hour massage is $55- $75. I would suggest getting a 30 minute on you're upper body ( neck, back, shoulders, arms, hands, pec's and scalp) This is around $25-$45. See you're therapist at least every other week or once a month. Massage should be therapeutic and relaxing...even deep tissue is not supposto hurt it defeats the purpose. If you are in pain during a massage you're body feels that it is under attack and you start to tense up and you're money goes to waste no theraputic release has happened, just added stress.

After you're massage physically you will feel very fluid like you have full mobility of you're muscles and you will feel very light. You might feel some soreness but it should be tolerable...just drink lots of water and make sure you are taking some kind of calcium suppliment to absorb the lactic acid.

Also make sure you're therapist has a pleasent demenor about them that they respect you're body and pain tolerance and speak up if you have and uncomfortableness. and most importantly allow you're self to trust and release =)

It depends on who you go to. Massage Envy and other franchises are cheap like about$50-$60 an hour. They usually hire entry level massage therapists but you can occasionally find a more experienced one.

Just go to someone who is recommended to you. Ask your family and co-workers who they go to. It is not unusual to pay $70-100 for a good hour of massage. It will really help you in more ways than you can know like help you create and play music by helping you to be more relaxed and tuned into yourself.

For your first time I suggest you start with a swedish massage. If you feel it could of been deeper try a deep tissue the next time. Or even a hot rock massage. Those are great for back and neck tension. If you think you can handle it then go ahead and start with deep tissue, just tell them if it's too much and you will be fine. If you don't enjoy your experience try again with a different therapist. Not all massage therapists are created equal. As for the price it depends on where you are. $60 is a good price here, $50 is a great price. And if you go to a school you can find a good therapist for $20-$30 Good luck!

WELL AT MY CHIROPRACTORS THEY CHARGE 35.00 FOR 30 MIN SO ABOUTMAYBE 50.00 OR A LITTLE MORE YOU STRETCH MUSCLES AND ADJUST NECK CHIROPRACTOR. IF U HAVE KNOTS THERES MASSAGE THAT WILL GET RID OF TOXINS.

How can I massage a knot out of my husbands back shoulder?

My husband has a cronic knot, or what feels like a tense ball in his back, left shoulder muscle. I have been trying to work it out with massage. It has been getting smaller but I can't seem to totally work it out. Any suggestions? Also, the ball of tension seems to move around a little as I massage. Thanks!

Try using your elbow on it in a circular motion. I did this for my fiance and it worked great. I guess I could get more pressure doing it that way. Another thing to do with knots is direct, steady, continuous pressure for a few seconds. You have to put quite a lot of pressure on it--almost to the point of being painful (sorry).

You might want to use a muscle rub as well (Ben Gay, Icy Hot, whatever you have). Then apply some heat with a heating pad or hot cloth. You could even put some heat on before you massage to start to loosen up the muscle. If he can do any stretches that stretch that area, that will also help. Good luck.

That ball is a knot of toxins and yes as you rub it out it will get smaller. Use alot of oil or lotion when doing so and use your elbow instead of your hands. My wife does that for me and it makes a ton of difference. The pain is harsh but it helps. If he grimmaces in pain you are doing good.

it sounds strange but get him to lay on the floor and put a tennis ball directly on the knot and just roll back and forth on the ball...:) make sure he drinks lots and lots of water after you massage it..try your elbow but use plenty of lotion..drink water!!!

What type of massage is it when someone stands on your back to get massaged?

I just wanted to find the term so that i can purchase a book that deals with that type of massage technique. Or if anyone can recommend a book on that. It is basically when someone uses their feet and massages your back while standing on it. I've seen it on TV but dont know what it is called. can anyone help.

It can also be called pole walking, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, or Fijian Massage. It depends on who you ask or where you are.
Take a look at the websites below and see if either one is what you are looking for.

Fijian Massage

They are very enjoyable. The foot is shaped perfectly to work knots out of the body, and the weight of the person is crucial.

Is a hard massage table not painful to erected penis when being worked on your back?

In India Ayurvedic massage centres have hard wooden table without cushion. Is a hard massage table not painful to erected penis when being worked on your back?

You just have to make sure it is tucked to the side.

Say what?

maybe the table has a hole in it so you can just stick your penis through. even less likely maybe there is a woman on the other side of the hole in the table who does sexual favors for you. even less likely then that, you will still get a reasonable price.

Don't get an erection. Simple.

As a Certified massage Therapist ... I can tell you that most all guys will tuck their Penises under their bellies or to the side while their back is being worked on .....

I guess so...

If you where having a massage would you prefer a back massage or a full body massage?

I have only had a back massage. I have never had a full body massage.

i would like a fully body sounds like fun!

A back massage might be GOOD, but a full body 1, that would be simply SUPERB.

Nothing beats a FULL BODY massage. I should know cause I was once a massuse.

I'd take the FULL BODY 1 any time over just the back 1

full

full body, baybee, full body.

The Thai massage with a combination of the Swedish oil is my favorite whole body massage. They tend to spend more time on the legs, which improves my circulation in my feet. But anytime I can get a caring touch, I almost always say, "Yes."

What's the best type of massage to get to relieve back and neck stress?

What's the best type of massage to get to relieve back and neck stress?

ex: Rolling stone massage, thai massage, Mud Wrap...
This will be my first professional massage.

I am a massage therapist. I recently just completed a myofascial release course. It is AMAZING stuff. It's a very slow relaxing process. Throughout all your muscles you have connective tissue, (like the white stuff in an orange) that tissue is like hard jello. In myofascial you melt that connective tissue (hard jello) into a soft warm liquidy muscle. Then the therapist is able to get VERY deep into the muscle without it feeling uncomfortable or hurting. You will feel twitches throughout your body like when you first start to fall asleep. This is just the muscle letting go and releasing... you will feel like a new person!

Does massage therapy work on pregnant women to relieve back pain?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have crazy insane back pain to the point where I have to pop extra strength tylenol all day just to be able to get up or walk. A massage sounds promising, but I have so many doubts... how do they do a massage when you can't lay on your stomach? Has anyone had a massage late in the third trimester, and did it help?

There are maternity massages that you can get that are especially for pregnant women naturally. They work with you to make you as comfortable as possible by avoiding laying on the back. Also, shiatsu works wonders for me! Its helped a lot with lower back pain. Also, deep breathing helps with lower back pain, I know it sounds weird, but my massage therapist taught this to me. When you breathe into your stomach, it really helps loosen up the back. Try it out and see if it works for you.

I constantly feel like I need a back massage; would a chiropractor work once with an adjustment?

I constantly feel like I need a back massage; would a chiropractor work once with an adjustment? Does it last when you go to a chiropractor or am I going to have the same problem over and over. I dont have something wrong with my back its just sore from sitting in a chair all day and then driving home an hour. Any help would be appreciated; thanks.

I love going to the Chiro. It really does help. I sit at a desk all day too so I'm usually pretty sore. You won't get a massage there but you'll get re-aligned, which will make you less sore. Going just once won't help either, I usually go at least every other week. Good luck!
