Liberian official in plea deal in Norcross beauty shop fire Atlanta Journal Constitution

Eric Bracewell was sentenced to five years of probation Wednesday as part of the deal. He is also barred from returning to the U.S. for 10 years.

Defense attorney David Wolfe said Bracewell is returning to Liberia.

Bracewell has been an assistant director of the Liberian Special Security Service since June 2007. Wolfe said he stepped down from his post in May before he surrendered to authorities and hopes to be reinstated.

He was arrested in May by agents with Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and charged with a July 2006 attempt to set fire to the Ee & Ee Beauty Supply and Salon, as well as the Queens Caribbean Restaurant and Club next door.

Bracewell had pleaded not guilty to the charges. Wolfe said in May that his client never filed an insurance claim for the damage the blaze, and that it started next door to his client's building.

ATF agents negotiated with Bracewell to secure his arrival in Atlanta for several weeks after a grand jury indicted him on the arson charges in April. Wolfe said his client flew to the U.S. voluntarily to face the charges.

BeWeave It! Salon and Beauty Supply!

This was a project for my economics class.

My family wants to go into the business of seling professional salon and beauty supply. how do we start?

My family would like to start selling beauty supplies to salons and customers. does anyone know how we can start this? we have a place in mind but in starting the actual buying and selling process we do not know where to start. anyone know??

ask mary kay

Count yourself one among many and run with the crowd.

Think I would scope out local competition and see what they offer and are all about.....then perhaps contact someone in area who may have had similar business and did not make it - may be willing to share some insight there as well as rid of some equipment and so forth.

Proceed with caution!

Be professional with your signs and your writing. It's a real turn off when there are many incorrect words.

buy cheap and sell high!
create a relationship with your vendors and develop your territories close before you try to spread out. Hire commissioned sales reps, ad don/t quit your day job for the first 12 months. know your product and believe in it. keep good books and manage your inventory. Remember the paycheck is for employees, your building a company with value

Sally Beauty Supply is where they all go.

Does anyone know where The Source Salon& Beauty Supply is? In Fargo,ND or Moorhead, MN???

If anyone from around The Fargo,nd area has any idea, the help would be appreciated

Source
(701) 356-1023
1801 45th St S
Fargo, ND 58103

not sure if that's what you're looking for. it should be next to home depot and ihop in that area.

I'm opening a Beauty Supply & Salon and looking for vendors. Know any beauty distributors in Los Angeles ?

I would be interested in the products that you sell, but I live in Indianapolis,Indiana and I sell Beeswax Moisturizing Cream and other items. Do you want to buy items or sell items or both?

Should I color my hair with L'Oreal Feria or Sally Beauty Supply dye?

Hey. I am struggling to decide whether to go to a CVS and get a L'Oreal Feria at-home hair coloring kit or to go to a Sally Beauty Supply salon and ask them to recommend one of their products.

As far as I know, the cost isn't much different (based on what I've seen on both L'Oreal and Sally Beauty Supply's websites).

Well... what do you think? :( I am the most indecisive person in the world and I need YOUR advice!

I would honestly say I have tried EVERY BRAND at CVS hair product even I have a sally card discount.

Not worth it.I'm now waiting for my hair to recondition back to health until..December I will be going to hair salon.

I suggest you use NONE.For simple fact you will mess it up..in long run and professional is alway's better and worth the cost on your hair.

I have dyed my hair since I was 16yrs old,,and Is real damage.I'm trying now hair conditon products and cutting spit end's to bring it back to live.

Just be sure you use something that isn't going to give you to dark ot light resault's get..it lighter than what the box says'

I always did LOVE the Sally product's but..The haircolor I want now is out of stock..So is not ONLY avaible in hairsalon's.

You can ask the clerk to HELP you OUT they know alot of the products and ALL The stuff you will need and get the discount card.Is FREE and $5 for one year.

I like the dye from sally beauty.

Its the dye and then the developer.
Its great for long hair because there is soo much!

I buy from sally, and its professional!

I think you should go to a salon and have a professional stylist do it for you. I'm a hairstylist myself and We get so many people that spend $10-$20 on home hair color, they destroy their hair and then they come into the salon to have it fixed. People end up spending way more on color correction then if they just would have had a stylist do it in the first place. Besides not all people that work at Sally's are trained to give you color advice.

Sally Beauty Salon products are way better and itwill be better for your hair!!

I want to use salon grade die, what do i need to buy from the beauty supply?

I want to die my hair myself but i need to know what to get when i go to the beauty supply

I think you should just go to the supply place and ask one of the employees. They'd be better at telling you what to get than me.

Anytime I go to the supply shop and have questions I ask the people who work there....they should be able to help you there in the store.

Each brand is different some come with chemicals mixed in....others you have to buy everything seperately. Keep that in mind.

only licensed cosmetologist can buy " salon grade " color. if you know someone with license's ask them to get it and use it for you. If they get caught buying it and giving it to non licensed persons, they are risking losing their license's.

first off what is your natural color??are you going lighter or darker, adding highlights, or allover color. I would recommend something that is semi permanent, so if you don't like it, It will only last about 2-4 weeks, they also make color that fades when you shampoo

You can only buy "salon-grade" color at a professional supply house. If you're buying color anywhere else you're getting metallics and other added chemicals that are damaging to your hair. (which is why they are cheaper than salon color is) If you're looking to color your hair, it'd be best for you to either use a demi-permenant color (semi-permenant) that will fade out of your hair instead of you having to try to re-color it if you don't like the color. Pulling a dark color out of your hair can ravage it and it's not worth it!!
If you have noone to buy you professional hair color, you should pick a color that you like, (whatever the picture of the color on the box is, that color was put on white-blonde hair to get that color, so unless your hair is white-blonde, it won't be that exact shade.) When you figure out what color you like, pick the box of color that is one or two shades lighter than the box color you like. Most of the box colors will turn out much darker than the box shows (and again, they're super-hard to pull out of your hair!).
If you don't want to wreck your hair, you should have a stylist do it first and be honest with him/her, tell them you plan to do it at home the next time and have them recommend something to use that will match what they've used on you. Stylists are trained to know what color type and shades will do on your specific type of hair. If you make a mistake coloring your hair, it's not easy to get back what you started with. Good Luck!
P.S.- If you can't get true professional hair color, I'd buy Redken Shades EQ Hair color off e-bay (make sure you also purchase the developer). It's a hair color that will fade from your hair over the course of a few months, so you will return back to your natural color if the color you choose wasn't what you hoped it would be. That's what I use so if I ever decide to do something crazy, I can and I don't have to mangle my hair to get it back to the natural color I love. I just have to wash and wait a few months or pick another pretty color to try! Good Luck!

To buy anything other than at a Sally or Ricky's you must show your Cosmetology license. Also remember the trick to great hair color is only part the product- the rest is the application, formulation and timing. A professional color done improperly will also give horrible results. Best of luck to you.

HELP! I live in NJ and I'am looking for the best salon or beauty supply shop for lace top wigs for women?

that's full lace or top lace wigs for women of color
I live in southern nj near philadelphia pa

The second link is a lace wig store in NY. HOWEVER!! :)

You can find a high quality lace wig at www.affordablelacewigs.com for $199. They are not reseller like ebay but manufacture. I know Im a sales associate, at times we have in stock lace wig for $199 with a REFUND policy!!! We are members of the BBB, so we guarantee our product. Lace Wigs starting at $199 are short but unlike other lace wig store we offer all lengths from 6-36 inches. We are affordable because we make our own product not a reseller. however when sales are high we outsource but we make sure it's quality so you don't have to. At least check us out and see. Good luck!!

is there a difference between the performance of the beauty products from a salon and the ones...?

is there a difference between the performance of beauty supplies that can be purchased from a professonal beauty salon and the ones that can be bought from a normal drugstore? i'm wondering cuz there is a dramatic price difference. is there anything different in their performance?

You really just have to shop around and find what you like, and what's easy for you to create the look that you want. Different companies have different colors. A lot of the quality is different. I have found that Clinique is very comparable to Mary Kay. MK is actually rated higher than Cliniques, as well as other high end retailers, but is much less expensive;)

does sallys beauty supply cut hair too? is it like a salon?

can you get your hair cut/styled there? or is it just stuff for hair that u can buy like products?
