What is the best skin care product on the market?

My skin seems to be acting up a little bit due to the weather. I have fairly normal skin, not excessively oily or dry. What's the best product to keep away blemishes? I wash my face everyday in the shower with Wet and Wild skin care, but that's obviously not working. Thanks!

if you want something form a drugstore buy clean and clear continuous control cleanser with the clean and clear advantage oil-free moisturizer. another thing you can do is go with all natural cleansers. try zyporex, its all natural and just for acne. it gives you a really clean feeling. natural can be the best thing because it doesnt contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your face rather than help.

What i use is called PCA Skin...it is the BEST!! You have to get it through a cosmetologist or a dermatologist though...but within a month my face was completely clear...i had tried so many things like pro-activ, clean and clear, neutrogena and nothing worked...this stuff is spectacular...i actually get compliments on my skin now...

aveeno skin relief mosturizing lotion its new its really good u wotn find anything bettter

Arbonne!!!

What is the best skin care products for oily skin?

I'm about to go to the store and I want to know what skin care products work best for oily skin.
Around my mouth my skin is very dry, though, so if you know of a good moisturizer that would be great too.

Ok... I know it sounds weird... but here is my routine...

I went out and bought a cleanser that advertises that it "fights oil." I find that alot of products advertise that they "won't dry you out" and "get rid of dead skin." But I guess oily skin isn't that common, because I need some SERIOUS help. Fortunately, I don't get too many breakouts or blemishes, I get so shiny during the day, that I can wipe my fingers across my forehead, and my fingers will be shiny! I've recently been doing something odd though... but it seems to be working,

At night before bed, I just use the cleanser that I bought (I buy a different one every time, to see which one I like - but my favorite so far is Biore's "ICE CLEANSER" or "shine control" - they're in green bottles with a pump on the top). I get dry around the mouth and corners of my nose too - I just rub some moisturizer ON THOSE AREAS. Moisturizer tends to make me even more oily, and I have read online many times, that it's best to only use a minimal amount, on areas that NEED it. I've been experimenting with an uncommon product lately though. Toothpaste. Just dab it on any blemishes you may have.

BUT in the daytime, like when getting ready for work (just ONCE a day)... I wash my face with toothpaste... I know, I can picture your face. It's weird. But I suggest that you try it at least once. Just rub it on, avoiding your eyes, and try to build up a lather. Then, without water, use a small amount of your face soap and wash it off. Rinse. It is the coolest feeling ever. It makes your skin feel GREAT. Don't do it too often though, because it can dry you out too much. But seriously, even if you don't pick this as best answer TRY IT TRY IT TRY IT. It's awesome.

I've had oily skin forever. And nothing helps me. Even things like toners and astringent seem to make it worse, and I dunno why! Lemme know if it works for you too! :)

As for makeup - powder is great to eliminate shine. Also, if when you go into a bathroom, check yourself in a mirror - if you see shine building up, simply press a paper towel up to your face. LOOK AT IT. It absorbs the oil right off of your skin. This works wonders.

Witch hazel and its about 99cents a bottle. Good moisturizer neutragena night creme.

use a salycilic acid productt and astrigint for the oily parts, and i love just plain ole johnsons baby lotion for my face

Wash your face with water consistently throughout the day. The over use of soap is unhealthy. Oils protect your skin. But yeah it can build up after a while. Wash Wash Wash

I have oily skin too :( it sux but theres this product by Benefit called Dr Feel Good that works really well. It actually almost looks like candle wax LOL but u apply it with a sponge (included when u buy it) its colorless n smells good too. Its a great mattifier n controls oil. I use it in conjunction with Peter Thomas Roth Max Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel for the oilier areas (in my case: nose) and they work wonders. A bit pricier than drugstore brands but in somes cases u get what u pay for!
As 4 moisturizer...Olay!

What skin care lotion is best for your skin?

On my arms and my legs, I have places where I have very dry skin and I was wondering if anyone knew what skin care lotion product is best for your skin that you can get a supermart or drug store? I want brands of lotion please!

If you buy a product make sure it doesn't have mineral oil as that forms a barrier with your skin and since skin is a respiratory organ it needs to breath. For skin to retain moisture and not be dry it need to be able to absorb the moisture and retain it. I find it best to apply a good moisturizing cream immediately after I shower as this helps the skin to retain the moisture after being wet. Make sure the product you buy has the same PH balance as our skin which is PH5.5 as this helps the natural balance of our skin, and will help to reduce irritation and dryness.

Arbonne have some wonderful botanical products that combat dryness my son has terrible dry skin and feet and their product have had amazing results. However you need to have a consultant to purchase any products on-line.

Check out www.Arbonne.com if you need help purchasing click on consultants Linda Sackett and send me a message I'll be happy to help you.

Burt's Bees is the best lotion! All natural and really work!

oil of olay..they have a huge line of products now...shower gel and lotions and age defying stuff.
They are pretty good

any baby lotion moisturizes good and is decent if you have sensitive skin......the milk and honey one smells good too....then there's olay quench that does the same and makes you glow:)

jergens is great for dry skin and also smells good, this lotion has been used in our family for a long time. my mother used to use it

OKAY for your face, this is the BEST one but you can only get it from department stores...Clinic Moisturizing lotion step 3
trust me, you'll LOVE IT the bottle is about 20 dollars but so worth it and it'll last you about four months if you use it twice a day...believe me!

I like Curel, it doesnt irritate my skin and keeps it hydrated.

i had the same problem before, is it itchy for you? where the area is dry? mine was occasionally

i started to use Aveeno the skin relief moisturizing lotion (with oatmeal). so far it gives the best result for my skin. i tried vaseline before but didnt work but Aveeno has been good for me :)

best is almond oil
apply few drops of almond oil

i have really sensitive, dry and acne-prone skin, and dove cool moisture lotion hasn't given me any problems so far, i've been using it since the summer. it smells good and it moisturizes me but doesn't make me feel greasy and weighed-down.

nuetrogina or proactive both work i know got tons going away!!!

Japanese brands are the best.

Not a lotion exactly but Vaseline is best for very dry skin. If not Vaseline, try Vaseline Intensive Care.

The BOdy shop africa spa body cream

What is the best way to take care of your skin?

I have sensitive skin from head to toe. I am looking for multiple experiences with skin cleansers, lotions, toners, exfoliants and any kind of skin care stories. What works best for you? What keeps dry skin, specifically on the face at bay? What brands do you prefer? How many times per day do you wash your face? What is your routine?

I have sensitive skin too, rosacea to be exact, so I'm wary of EVERYTHING on my skin. I did however start using natural and organic products though and I've noticed a huge difference- they don't seem to dry out my skin or make it get red and itchy.

Check out www.natural-skincare-solutions.com. That's where I buy Juice Beauty.

Good luck! :-)

For lotion the best lotion EVER is Vaseline brand...like intensive rescue because it adds moisture to ur skin very quicky and makes ur skin feeling soft

for my face i use clearsil ULTRA...like then i put lotion on my face right after i get done washing my face..so my face then is very soft and golden[kinda sorta]

i usually wash my face like twice a day...in the morning and then before i go to bed....

Drink as much water a day as you can get away with everyday. This will keep your face hydrated.
If the environment you live in has a dry climate buy a humidifier and keep it in your room.
Take omega 3 fish oil pills everyday.
I use neutrogena products and have been happy with the results. They have a light cleanser that works well and doesnt irritate your skin.
H20 products are really good as well!!
I wash my face once at night and then apply moisturizer.
I moisturize in the morning after shower, under my eyes too.

A good cleanser for sensitive skin will be "Honey oatmeal"
I wash my face twice a day
best toner is "Balancing Act" use toner am/pm
best exfoliant (scrub) is ":Microdermabrasion" I use it once a week
best moisturizer " Anti-aging" and "Cell Enhancer" once a day/am
that is my regimen all of these products are from "abrione"

What is the best care for seriously dry skin?

In the summer my skin doesnt dry out but in the winter its harrible, ashy, almost scaly sometimes what is the best skin care for me...

Well, this is common and is often caused by the cold weather and or hard water. I find the best cure is to use moisturizing body wash or bar soap and then follow up with a light all over moisturizing lotion to apply post shower.

Also, if it specifically your face, make sure you are using a lotion that is made for face use so as to not add clogged pores and acne to the dry skin.

Good luck.

well, i get very ashy, so i use jergens and cutting back on the hot showers helps b/c the hotness strips your body of it's oils.

TRY NIVIA IT WORKS MAKE SURE YOU USE IT AFTER UR shower

eucerin lotion is best for dry-driest skin.

What is the best skin care advice?

What is the BEST skin care advice that you've ever received to clear up acne? The best products, the best home remedies, the best daily activities, I want to know them all! Thanks so much to everybody in advance.

Besides washing your face morning and night (no sleeping in make-up!), toning, and moisturizing, the best advice I had was to see a dermatologist. I was given a prescription that cleared up my skin problems (acne during pregnancy) like a charm.

The best "trick" I ever heard of was for a spot treatment. Pure tea tree oil applied with a cotton swab. Hold it on the blemish until it starts to feel cold (a good 60 seconds). If you do this at night, it will dry up by morning, but the bump might still be there. Careful though, this can be very drying. Only apply it to the blemish.

My best skin care advice for acne would be to use all three steps of Proactiv. I've been using Proactiv for about 3 years and as long as I am consistent with it, it keeps my skin clear.

Please note: No matter what acne product you decide to use, be sure to keep your skin moisturized, otherwise it will dry out. I like to use the green tea moisturizer from Proactiv. In my opinion, it's one of the best moisturizers out there. It goes on thin and it's definitely not oily.

For home remedies, I have heard that egg whites work quite well. They do a great job at tightening up your skin. Again, be sure to keep your skin moisturized.

Finally, I have heard that it's a good idea to eliminate milk from your diet. A lot of people are claiming clear skin after only a week simply by eliminating milk.

Also, daily activities should include some from of exercise for at least a half an hour. This will keep you solid. Breathing exercises are great also.

You can check out more info here

Don't fall for those flashy, shiny products that smell good and look cool. You need something simple to get the job done.
I use a daily cleanser called Cetaphill, they make it for dry skin, oily skin and normal skin. I kid you not that it cleared up my face over night. My sister had a terrible acne problem and it was cleared in about a week with this stuff. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist, so it's legit. It's a little more expensive than some, its runs about $8-$10, but it is more than worth it. It comes in a cleanser or actually face wash form, and it works wonders!

try raw/organic honey for natural home remedy.

or try ClearPores :)

What is the best skin care/anti-aging product that you have used?

Has anyone tried the skin care line from Dr. Perricone? Do the products work? How about other brand such as oil of olay? What has been the best skin care product that you have ever used?

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Face Cleansing Pads = all time favorite product.

I am a big fan of Lancome products, Lancome Renergie in particular, they are all anti wrinkle.

Arbonne NutriMinC Re Anti-Aging system. I have been using it for 5 years. It has helped with discoloration, aging lines, acne and toning of my skin.
https://www.arbonne.com/products/anti-aging/nutriminc/
Botanically based, vegan certified, no mineral oil. Can be purchased at 35% discount and has 45 day guarantee.
I could provide free samples if interested.

A lot of anti-aging products out there have a high price tag, but lack the results they claim to justify their price. I personally have been using Arbonne's Nutrimin C RE9. I have clients who have chosen Arbonne over Dr. Perricone's.

What is the best way to market a start up skin care company?

I started a body/skin care company and we are gearing up to market our products to hopefully get picked up by some stores as well as some editorial or mentions in some of the larger beauty magazines. What is the best way to get the attention of beauty editors?

get someone with a serious pizza face and spakle it all in til its smooth and tell people you product solved the problem

What's the best skin care product brand for delicate skin ?

Whats' your favorite brand? I have been using acne treatment products for a while and finally get rid of that problem, now I want to invest in a good skin care products, moisture creams, clarify and anti-age kind of products, etc.
I have tryed Neutrogena before and some of their products are good but others irritate my skin, I'm thinking about getting some of Clinique, but not sure.
what are the best brands available, price not a problem, just want a real good quality products ?

Clinique and Murad are great for sensitive skin!!!!

10 yr old daughter beginning to get spots what is the best skin care regime for a youngster?

My 10 1/2 year old has begun to get a few small spots on her cheeks and nose, not acne or anything major, but what is the best cleanser for a youngster to use, any good ideas for a skin care regime for young skin?

My child has the same problem since he was about 6. Its not only on his face but his back and it hurts when you rubbed his back. Best to go to a dermatologist like I did for my child. Take care.
