Lazing in a hammock, chilled glass in hand, I’m sipping my new favorite summer wine, moscato d’Asti.
Who knew that this would bond me to the hip-hop community? Ever since rapper Kanye West started giving shout-outs five years ago to the lightly fizzy, perfumey white wine, moscato has been a varietal on the rise.
There are four main varieties of the versatile muscat grape, which can be made in styles from dry to sweet. The star of the family, though, is moscato bianco, used in Italy’s classic moscato d’Asti, from the Asti area of Piemonte.
These wines mostly fall in the middle of the sweetness spectrum and are gently sparkling, or, as Italians say, frizzante. They’re the frivolous, under-$20 whites in a serious region that produces collectible, expensive Barolos.
While the grape has been a local staple since the Crusades, only with modern cellar technology was the current style of moscato d’Asti possible.
Thanks to heady aromas of orange blossom and rose petals, refreshing citrus and pear flavors, and only 5 to 6 percent alcohol, today’s gulpable fizzy moscato could practically be a breakfast wine. It has day-drinking written all over it.

Depends on your tastes...they could run as high as $11K from what I've seen and new ones are regulated at 100deg. Too cold for some people. Look around for a used thats in good condition or a recon'd one...you will be happier price and quality wise.
Check Ebay for one close to your location that you could haul yourself. Sounds stupid but you could land a decent deal even if minor repaires are needed

Usually it is the tub that is toasty..ok that was a bad attempt at a joke,lol. I would put an ad in the local paper,"looking to buy" someone may have one from their non working tub.

The Pool repair guy is very correct in not adding household products to your spa, even though not for his stated phosphate reason since the type of phospate that will be used will not be anything that could be used for energy by algae, especially if your sanitizer level is good. I am not interested in selling you anything ...BUT!.... if you do like vanillia, you can use vanillia extract that you would use for baking. The only two fragrance manufactures on the market I like that do not change your water's chemistry is Spazzaz and Being from Baquaspa. Both should last months and really are not very expensive. If you find you like Spazzaz's fragrances like their popular Honey Mango you can always look at Ebay compared to your local pool and spa store if they are expensive. We use to sell 6 brands and by far Spazzaz out sold all of them.

Find A cheap Hot Tub?
Best advice is to keep an eye on the classified ads in your local newspaper. People sometimes sell hot tubs and spas when they no longer use them. The closer to your home you can find one, the cheaper it will be to buy because of transportation costs. If you need to buy a new one, check with Lowe's or Home Depot. They usually have the best prices and can arrange for installation.

So me and my roomate built a homemade hot tub inside our house and are looking for a cheap way to heat it....?
We built a homemade hot tub in one of our rooms... now we have the wooden frame, the filter and the water all in. We are now confused on how we will be able to heat this from inside the house? We arent trying to spend 300 dollars on an electic heater.. so does anyone have a cheap alternative pleaseee??
just light a bunch of candles under the wooden frame. dont worry its a wooden frame so it won't catch on fire because wood doesnt burn. better yet you can run "heat trace" wires around the edge of the water. make sure the wires are fully submerged, you dont want to start a fire.
i should tell you before I go i am not serious about this answer I dont want you to listen and end up burning your house down or worse yet electrocuted.
As for the heat, run a black hose outside or on the roof and use some plumbing skills and include a pump to capture the suns heat, maybe make a small solar panel.

If you want to heat a "home-made" hot tub; take it out in the back yard, and burn it; try not to hurt yourselves while doing it. You will certainly kill yourselves if you continue with this "great" idea.
Or, for a one-time only, really cheap thrill; sit in it while filling it with water. See how long it takes you to visit the folks that live below you (I hope you have a "Stupid People Tricks" rider on your renter's insurance.)

Can you get an STD from a communal hot tub in a cheap apartment complex?
My lover said that she received the STD from the hot tub in our cheap apartment complex but I suspect that she is like most women and just sleeps around.

Where can I buy cheap plastic ivy garland for a privacy lattice around my outdoor hot-tub?
It'll be outdoors so blocking the neighbor's view is the main object...cheap and cheesy is fine.
I have an outdoor shower and I love it. I live in Fkorida so I don,t worry about water freezing, but I have jasmine vines growing over my lattice work and it not only give me super privacy, it smells awesome too. It loves water and grows super fast and other than snipping the tendrils off , unless you want to let it keep growing, it is an awesome outdoor plant that comes in fast and thick. If you want to get imaginative you can make an arbor type entrance to your hot tub. It will look real nice and guaranteed you will get major compliments. The only bummer is that left unattended, it gets out of control.
