Pet spa to give pets a bow-wow time Times of India
Chitkala Arun, owner of the city's first pet spa and certified groomer says: "Pet lovers are not able to groom their pets at home as it is time consuming and requires professional help.
However, everyone wants their pet to look clean and beautiful. Today, pets have become just like a member of the family and it needs to be taken care of in every way."
He said people have responded positively ever since it opened, including people from other districts like Kodagu. Skin disease is common in pets and an average of four to five pets are attended to daily, Chitkala said, adding that it takes an hour to treat each dog. She plans to open a holiday home for dogs, so pet owners can leave their pets there and enjoy their vacations without worrying about their pets.
B P Manjunath, a pet lover and owner of many dogs says: "Dogs can be differentiated as watchdogs and pet dogs. Pets are a part and parcel of man's life and they are loyal to the owner for a lifetime. Many breeds cost thousands of rupees and India is the only country where owning a dog is cheaper," he said. Commenting upon the pet spa concept, he said: "Such spas are needed here, since pet owners do not know how to take care of their pets. Pet animals need care and cost is a little heavy, but it definitely benefits many pet owners.

I don't know if they are a couples spa, but I've had good experiences at the Red Door Spas by Elizabeth Arden. They have two NYC locations, one in Saks Fifth Avenue and the other a few blocks up from that.
If you google SpaWeek, their website has a very extensive listing of spas in major cities, including NYC, and I'm certain they'd have a listing for couples spas there.
I'm going to Spa in a couple of weeks. Have any of you been before and do you have any tips?

I went in 2001 by the Eurostar. Definitely the best way to travel. I remember Schuey won and Burti had a big crash!
