It all started innocently enough.
When he entered Aqua-Tech's headquarters at 1065 Dugald Rd. last year, Garry McBurney was in the market for a hot tub.
When he walked out some time later, he'd decided he wanted a swimming pool. But not just any pool.
"It was a bit of an accident -- I went in looking for a hot tub, but things somehow went from that to me looking at a bunch of swimming pool designs," recalled McBurney, head of MX Renovations.
"Most of the designs were a bit generic, so I gave some thought to what would work for me. Eventually, I came back with a guitar design."
That's when things got interesting, he said.
"I took my idea to Joe Urmos, who heads up Aqua-Tech's design team. When I first showed it to him, I could see him thinking, 'Is this guy serious?' He was very respectful and kind of humoured me. But he saw that I was serious, so he said he'd do his best to see what he could do."
What McBurney -- an ardent guitar collector -- wanted was not just a guitar-shaped pool, but a replica of one of his favourite instruments, a Les Paul Custom.

Why is it necessary to take shower (before entering the pool) and wear swimming custom in swimming pool?

What I meant by 'swimming custom' was why we are not allowed to swim with our underwear.
By taking a shower, you do not transfer any dirt you might have had on you into the pool. Also women who are required to wear bathing caps into the pool because sometimes strands of their hair come loose in the pool and this over a period of time can interfer with the pool filter. All this is done for the basic hygiene of the pool.
WE WORE SUITS BECAUSE TO PREVENT US FROM ANY SKIN SPOILAGE DUE TO CHLORINE .
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "wear swimming custom"
swim with underwear? thats not very decent. thats why swimming costumes were invented. underwear is meant to be private.
What to take to swimming pool???

I am not American and am unfamiliar with local customs. I want to start going to the swimming pool, but afraid that I will embarece myself by doing something not allowed. I have a swimming shorts, and I know to wear them. But I mean more like, do I were shower shoes when I go to the pool. Do I wipe myself down after I get out, or can I just walk wet to the dressing room. Do I have to shower before I get in.

You should bring a towel and toiletries with you. It is proper etiquette to rinse yourself off in the shower before going into the pool. Also bring a pair of flip flops to walk around in - pools are a breeding ground for bacteria, and especially foot warts so you always want to have your feet covered when walking around. Most swimming pools have lockers you can borrow, so bring your own lock. If you have long hair, tie it with a rubber band or use a swimming cap. After getting out the pool, you should let the water drain off a little bit - towel off a bit if you can - so you don't leave a wet trail that someone else can trip and fall on.

as our customs we dont wear swim suits so want to wear full dress which is water wear like shirt n pant
I would look for board shorts (some reach all the way down to your knees) and then just wear a t-shirt you don't care too much about over it (a PJ shirt maybe?). They sell boardshorts at PacSun and Billabong.
the colors are..um.. well.. you deside but it covers you from head to toe. But they are modest and not tight fitting.
You also have to remember that some pools will not allow people in with regular Tshirts and pants on because it messes up the PH balance of the pool.

Where can I get an above ground pool liner for an oval pool that measures 24 X 41?

I would like to know if I can transport a quantity of paint(2 or 3, 3Litre tins) from the UK to France, in my car, on a Cross-Channel ferry without it getting confiscated by either UK or French Customs?
I have heard from a friend that he can't take chemicals for his swimming pool across with him and he figures that paint is included in this kind of exclusion.

The paint is most likely to be an Enamel oil based paint for use in a spray gun.
Please not though that lead based paint is not legal anymore in France
Put it in a suitcase and it will be fine.

What sort of paint are we talking about ?? - if it is emulsion (latex for our US friends) then it is nearly all water and certainly has no chemicals in it. I don't think you will have any problems with just a couple of tins of paint. Even full gloss only contains oil and colouring.

How to overwinter a pool?
My landlord(a good friend) usually lets our pool go green in the winter. He buys chemicals all summer but then stops in Oct. Now, we are in ga so no freezing btw..in the spring he drains the pool(60,000 gallons and a swamp with all the algae!) and pressure washes and refills. It took a week this past spring and he usually doesn't do it till June, which is well past swimming time in south ga. It is a tile pool, custom built. Now If I throw a couple bags of shock in a couple times a month instead of chlorinating all winter, will this keep it clear till spring to avoid refilling it? P.s. Landlord won't spend the money to chlorinate all winter that's why he does it, but really, what's worth more a weeks hard nasty work or a bucket of chlorine tablets?lol sometimes people are set in their ways. I figured I'd just try shocking it throughout the winter, will it work?
Try a couple floating chlorinaters filled with shock tablets through out the winter depends on the size also-more for larger ones ect. covering it may help also.Sounds like you should be the landlord LOL
If you had the money to get a custom-made house designed EXACTLY your way how would you have it designed?
I'd like a 2-story house with an indoor jacuzzi & swimming pool. I know I see celebrities with elevators & vending machines & their houses & stuff. I wouldn't want a vending machine in my house, but I would LOVE an elevator. If I was rich enough, I'd have an indoor wave pool in my house. 5 bedroom & 3 bathrooms plus a weight room & an entertainment room.
2 story 7 bedroom 4 bath a game room swimming pool outside wrap around porch with two jacuzzi(one just for kids and the other for adults). I would like to have more bedrooms than are needed we are always having people drop in unexpectedly and it sucks having that fight with them no you are taking the bed and I am taking the couch. I don't need an elevator or entertainment room because any room we are in is an entertainment room. LOL. I would like it outside city limits with horse stables in the back. I would like the master bedroom to face west and have this huge picture window so that I can watch sunsets from the comfort of my bed.
