I'll be going to a day spa which the package I'll be having will be $250 for 4 hours... How much should I tip?
This is my first time at a spa. Is there a set amount for a tip or is it a percentage (20% is $50 for the $250 package). What if there is different people working the different treatments (pedicure, manicure, facial and massage). Thanks.
usually its best to tip 15-25%. if there are different people doing different things on you.. either tell the receptionist how to split it up when you check out, or you can leave it up to her to split it evenly.

If anything, you could sign him up for a 30 minute or an hour long massage, but most men aren't comfortable with the whole "day at the spa" thing.

Do you think it's worth buying a day spa package, or do you just get individual services?
If you already know what spa you are going to you need to ask them to explain the benefits of getting a package vs. individual services. You will spend more money on a package, but you will get much more for your money. Spas usually will through in a lot of additional complimentary things in a package, like meals, drinks and some treatments that may not need a therapist. If it is a spa with suanas, Turkish steam and pools you will get to use those at no additional cost. Plus packages are designed to provide you with a full relaxation experience.

You need to find out if gratuity was already added in. Most spa salons already add it into their pacakges. If it has I always add a little more depending on the type of service, was it good?, would you go back, was she/he nice so on and so fourth. I am a hairdresser and work in a salon and 20 % is always nice.
