Does anyone find that their eyes start to sting after wearing eye make-up all day?
I'm not wearing much eye make-up, just a bit of eye liner and mascara. It's been on since this morning and now my eyes are starting to sting. This happens all the time. Does anyone else get this? Are there any mascaras that are non-irritating to the eyes? Every brand I use affects my eyes like this after about 8hrs. It's so annoying!
that happens to me but the real reason is because sometimes the eyeliner gets into my eyes. Does the same happen to you? you can buy better eyeliner or mascara at a different store, it just depends on the kind you have

I really like my eyes so I wear a lot of eye make-up. But I can never find a colour to suit me! Black is no good 'cos it clashes horribly with my skin tone! Any tips welcome. Also please state if your referring to eyeliner or eyeshadow or whatever.
If black is too harsh, try a toned down black, or grey. i have dark eyes too, and fair skin, i either do that or browns and tans.
so nip down to Boots or Superdrug, and have soem fun trying out makeup!
Or if you dont live in england try just going into a Makeup shop and having a little play around with your friends!

look at almay section in drugstores/target/walmart to see which colors they recommend for your eye color, then if you want buy those colors in a different brand, like Maybelline since it's cheaper. I have blue eyes and I love sunlit bronze (the four color one) by Maybelline. I'm been using it for years and always get compliments on my eyes because of it. It brings the color out wonderfully
I first put wet and wild eyeliner (black) underneath the shadow to make lashes seem fuller and darker. Since it's under the shadow it just looks darker, but if you mess up the eyeliner line it's fine since no one can actually see it. It blends nicely with sunlit bronze.
I then use dark blue eyeliner on the lower rim, but only on the outer half. This prevents it from looking like it's too much, and makes your eyes look wider/bigger.

the waterproof mascaras by maxfactor are really really waterproof, which is great for summer time, but the downside is they are pretty hard to get off your lashes, but they DO define, give a lot of volume and length so I guess it's worth it.

neutrogena sheer block sunscreen 55 is a keeper!!! but, if you want a daily moisturizer I recommend neutrogena healthy skin moisturizer spf 30 or 45!!
wet and wild eyeliners – cheapest, but work well
CG advanced radiance restorative cream foundation with a makeup sponge (at target)- blends really nicely and matches my skin tone perfectly! I'm 19 so I don't need the restorative part, but it was on sale lol.

but...I don't see why those wouldnt work. Have you tried tans? There is the prettiest tans with shimmer in them at MAC.
I always do a hot pink over my entire eye lid...then in my crease mix a dark purple with a gray shimmer...then a highlight on my brow...and of course MAC ZOOM LASH mascara! ITS THE BEST!

I have big, green eyes. I need some ideas for everyday eye make up. I usually wear mascara, but I want to start wearing eyeshadow regularly. What would look good with my eyes? Something that can be done fairly quickly, like in the morning before school.
Since you already have big green eyes, highlighting them won't be much of a problem. For eyeshadow I would reccomend going with any shade of brown, purple, or coral/pink on a daily basis. These colors all highlight the green and make your eyes stand out like whoa.
Mascara and eyeliner is pretty simple, just buy a good volumizing mascara in any shade of black and a good black eyeliner that can be simply applied along the lower lash line before school.

hmmm. i think that bare escentuals actually has a kit for green eyes with some pretty colors. however, i never go by the instructions lol.
i think purple is GREAT with green eyes, and bare escentuals has some great purples. also, brown is nice with green eyes. i have to say though, purple makes them pop. if you get one of the kits you usually get a brush with about three different really pretty eyeshadows.
ulta or sephora's should have these kits. i got the brown eyeshadows because i was looking for a pretty brown shade and really liked them.
also, bare escentuals mascaras are great. every time i wear it i look like i have fake eyelashes on. everyone compliments me on it. it's a little messy to learn how to use at first because it's a wand with no bristles, but totally worth it once you have it down.
