Other options on the menu include facials, scrubs, massages and body wraps. The highlight is the Tea Tree Facial, which uses common kitchen staples such as yoghurt, brown sugar, honey and cucumbers to cleanse, refresh and moisturise the skin.
This 60-minute treatment starts not with the face, as you'd expect, but with the feet. A foot soak and salt scrub is pleasantly relaxing after a long walk on the beach. The facial pampering begins with a cleansing of the skin using cool and surprisingly refreshing plain yoghurt. Cotton pads are dipped in the yoghurt and then rubbed over the skin with gentle, upward strokes. Even if you show up wearing full make-up, that won't create any extra work for the therapist since yoghurt is a great natural remover of cosmetics. The lactic acid it contains also helps refine, soothe and soften the skin, as well as tighten pores. Yoghurt also contains several useful enzymes that exfoliate the skin, making it look smoother.
After the yoghurt has been wiped off, the therapist start the scrubbing session using a particularly aromatic mix of brown sugar and orange pulp. This proved to be a very simple but effective way of unclogging pores, removing dead cells and getting rid of dry, rough patches of skin. Brown sugar has just the right texture for this purpose; white sugar is too fine, while salt would be far too rough. What's more, there is something very delectable and appetising about the way this scrub smells.

what kind of facial spa is good for me and how often should i get it?

I can't give enough prase to the enzyme peel and the complexion clarifier. I only buy from this website becasue of a few reasons: (1) it's owned by a true experienced medical professiona, highly ethical and consumer-oriented. (2)excellent service. I always get a few extras with my order. (3)the natural, organic products are at their freshest. If you should find them on sale, beware 'cause they won't work. I learned that the hard way.
Once I had to wait a little because the products weren't ready, but I really did not mind waiting so that I could have the most potent effect from the products.
Anyway, it's worked for me like nothing else ever has, and I'm quite "up there" in age. You will actually SEE the difference, I'm sure. (It took about 3 weeks for great, lasting results).

there's all different types of facial spa's, but the one's that are more common all you have to do is put hot water in them and put your face over it, the steam on your face will get rid of blackheads.e.t.c.
What do they do during a facial at a spa to remove blackheads?
I have a lot of blackheads, some aer geting quite big and leaving scars. I want to get rid of them so my face stops breaking out. I used glycolic acid and a cream with retinol in it previously which helped to make the pores smaller, but without removing the debris I guess it will never clear. I was also told I need glycolic peels.. would that virtually do thae same thing that a facial at the spa would do?

I am a guy and it will be my first time to go to a spa tomorrow for a facial with extraction. What is the procedure there?
Do they need you to take shower and wear a robe or something like that if you are just there for a facial? I am not getting a massage. I just don't feel comfortable wearing a robe anyway. can anyone give me any pointer?
