HealMax Footbath Concentrate Dairy Herd Management
AgroChem Inc., Saratoga Springs, NY manufactures the HealMax line of hoof care products which are unrivaled in the treatment and prevention of digital dermatitis. Most recently, HealMax Footbath Concentrate, launched in January 2011, has created raving fans on small and large dairies alike, and provides an important product option in the treatment of digital dermatitis “hairy heel warts”.
HealMax Footbath Concentrate is a special formulation of HealMax Wart Spray, a topical product which has sold over 12 million applications globally. HealMax FBC builds on the successful formula of HealMax Spray but is specifically designed to work in the highly variable conditions of a footbath. HealMax FBC is tough on digital dermatitis yet gentle on dairymen and their herds. It contains no heavy metals like copper or zinc, formaldehyde, harsh acids, and moreover, it is biodegradable. Finally, there is a true alternative to using formaldehyde for treating digital dermatitis. During an outbreak HealMax prevents the spread of digital dermatitis and quickly promotes healing of existing “wart” lesions. After just 4‐5 days of use in the footbath, dairymen have been reporting significant improvement in the percentage of herd infected with digital dermatitis. Additionally, HealMax Footbath Concentrate promotes hoof hardness, so use of heavy metals like copper sulfate can be reduced or even eliminated.

Should I cover blisters during a foot bath?
I have blisters on both feet because my new shoes haven't been "broken into". I am planning to burst and clean out the blisters. I am going to soak my feet in a soothing bath. Should I "operate" on my blisters before or after the soak? and should I cover them with Band Aids during the sock?
I would argue against a foot bath if you have blisters...having skin submerged in water for prolonged periods weakens the skin and makes it more susceptible to blisters. Popping them is fine if you disinfect both the skin and the needle you will use. Then apply a bandaid to protect from infection. If you must take the bath, then dont pop the blisters until after the bath...doing otherwise only opens up a way to get an infection by breaking the skin.
If the Bleb is a bit large, put a bunion ring around it, before applying the band aid.
Prevention is better than cure. Soldiers tape their feet up, before yomping off into the wide blue yonder.
What is the best foot bath/ foot massager to buy as a gift?
I want to buy one for my sister for christmas b/c she complains about her feet hurting after work all the time. I herd conair ones are bad, but I was wondering if there was a brand out there that is known for working good (ie right amount of pressure and keeps water heated for long time) I also would not like to spend too much.
I have had 2 myself and find that neither brand keeps the water warm for long. My suggestion is to not invest a lot of money on any of them as it will probably get tucked in a closet after 1 or 2 uses any way.
does the ION therapy detox foot bath really work or is it a hoax?
It seems as though this is just another way to get people to spend there money. Does anyone agree with me or am I all wrong.
Hoax. It "works" for the incredibly gullible.
It is just a chemical reaction with the metal plates, or chemicals (different versions of the "foot detox" are available" ) when a weak electric current is applied. You can prove this by doing everything EXCEPT put your feet in the water....it will still turn funny colours.
There is absolutely no scientific reason to think that toxins can be sucked out of your body through your feet...that makes no sense physiologically, biochemically or anatomically.
This question comes up several times a week....
what is the purpose of putting feet in a aqua chi foot bath. How do feet affect the body?
my friend has an aqua chi foot bath and when soaking your feet the water changes color
Detoxification. The Ions in the bath are though to draw toxins out of the body though the feet.
As for the relationship of feet to the rest of the body:
There are nerve endings in your foot thought to be connected to certain other related parts (such as the big to is related to the pituitary gland and the area just under the arch of the foot is the solar plexus or diaphram) It is commonly used in the practice of reflexology and massage. Practitioners believe the foot to be divided into a number of reflex zones corresponding to all parts of the body, and that applying pressure to tight or "gritty" areas of a person's foot will stimulate the corresponding body part and cause it to begin healing itself.
where do I find a whirlpool foot bath?
preferred size about 24"H x 36"L x 18"deep, fibreglass or stainless steel okay. It does need to several jets so two people can use simutaneously
sharper image
or bed bath & beyond
Thank you and good nite.
I would imagine a professional spa supply site or catalog.
Has anyone ever heard of the IonCleanse detoxifying foot bath?
I'm wondering if any of you have heard of this machine. It supposedly pulls toxins out and i'm wondering if anyone can give me info on it?
i would love to hear from u if you know what/how it works
Good question! I would definitely like info on that too.
sorry :)
Any suggestions as to where I can find good deals on bath tubs such as claw foot bath tubs?
**Maybe an antique store? Hard to say when I don't know where you live.
If you go to salvage businesses, you're not necessarily going to find a "good deal" even if they do have one.
Other's are probably special ordered.
Can't always look for a good deal. You should also consider quality on an item like this.
Good Luck
Can an ionic foot bath actually detox your body from free radicals?
That's a new one on me! It may take the toxins off your skin but how is it going to get them out of your intestines and cells?
Diet and cleansing via specific supplements and colon cleansing are 2 major ways to achieve detoxification
How do I get listings to buy a professional line of a detox foot bath?
http://curezone.com/blogs/m.asp?f=268&i=93
thinking of buying an ionic foot bath machine as I heard it detoxifies and helps gout. I have read the water?
change color happens regardless of it one's feet are in the water but that a sticky residue indicates machine is working as it is not there when feet are not present.
But what I want to know is has anyone tried it and felt physical results or improvement? Even if it is a placebo effect..hey if it works...
2.also want to know do they require additional parts and equipment. I saw some cheaper ones on ebay but I am not sure if the brand matters that much.
Please answer these two questions...does it works or did it for you as far as feeling better in anyway and how did it help you and2. do they require additional parts and equipment to keep using it and does brand matter much.
I have used it as recommended by the manufacturer, a 30-minute session with interval of 3 days for 14 sessions. Yes, it works because the color of the water went from almost black to light orange towards the last 2 sessions, showing that "toxins" had been extracted out of my body during these sessions . Depending on the manufacturer, the "active" element is good for 20 to 40 30-minute sessions after which, you need to replace it with a "new" element. I cannot comment on brands only that I used two (2) different units but the results were similar. I hope it works for you too.
Remove Harmful Toxins from Your Body with Detox Foot Baths
As you go through everyday life, your body collects harmful toxins that can lead to serious health risks.  Unfortunately, toxins are unavoidable in today’s modern society. They are found in food, the environment and materials that are used in homes and household items. The good news is that you don’t have to wait until toxins accumulate in your body and cause your health to suffer. You can use natural products such as detox foot baths to rid your body of dangerous toxins, and take control of your health. A detox bath is relatively inexpensive, and it can drain the toxins from your body safely and effectively. Detoxing through the feet is a practice that has its roots in ancient Japanese wisdom. To this day, many people who believe in natural medicines and health products believe in foot detoxification, and find it beneficial to their bodies.
Â
Modern technology makes food detoxification easy with detox foot baths. Foot baths are convenient, easy to use and effective. There is nothing you can do about all the harmful elements that surround you, but you can easily remove them from your body with a quick detox bath. Foot baths are believed to have many benefits including improving the immune system, speeding up recovery from injuries and improving liver function. When toxins are removed from the body and your entire system is cleansed, you feel better and more balanced. The same can be achieved through saunas or steam treatments, but they can be uncomfortable and time-consuming. A detox foot bath provides a great alternative for people who don’t like to sweat or simply don’t have the time or the money to visit saunas on a regular basis. It can safely remove the toxins from your body, and improve your health.
