Foot massage?

Girls how many of you actually do like a foot massage after wearing high heel shoes alot?

Fetish much?

It feels amazing if done right... although i end up doing my own. Can't actually recall a guy ever offering to do them - and no they aren't disgusting and yes i have a boyfriend :P

THEY ARE AFRAID THAT THE FOOT ODOR DRIFTS UP SO THEY DON T LIKE IN PUBLIC

What is the purpose of having my toes flexed during a foot massage>?

I get my feet massaged on a regular basis, and I always enjoy my feet being massaged, (foot massages are wonderful) and it feels great on my feet. One massage therapist, who massages my feet, also flexed my toes back and forth. What she does is presses them back hard, but firm, (It doesn't hurt) and as she holds them back this stretches my leg muscles, and she asks me to press on her hand, and both leg muscles stretch out which feels very good on my leg muscles, then she would curl them and ask me to do the same, and this stretches my muscles out again. What is the purpose of this? I enjoy doing this, and it does feel good on my lower leg muscles, it is like almost like stretching out before you go for a run, but what is the main purpose, would this make my toes stronger?

It sounds to me like she is stretching muscles called the extrinsic foot muscles. These are muscles that control the movement of the toes but the muscle belly (the main part) actually attaches to one of two bones in your leg. Because they end on the toes, you're getting more of a stretch when she focuses on the toes specifically. These motions can be used to strengthen the muscle if she is asking you to apply resistance to the motions.

what i don't understand is your are having this massage regularly from an expert but you don't know why those thing are done and what benefit it does to you. i am sorry if maybe you can't speak and hear but you can write. if not then ask her the next session.

How should I feel the day after a foot massage?

I get pedicures from a Korean salon owner. He does a foot massage as part of the service that is FABULOUS. I think he uses some form of Asian reflexology or something- it's much more than just getting a "foot rub." I look forward to it and would go daily- skip the nail polish- just for the foot massage part.

The last one I had, that evening my feet were sore. The next day I felt very tired and lethargic. Is this normal? What happens when those foot nerves are worked on?

he might have worked on ur feet for too long. I know a woman who bought a foot maasager and used it for a couple of hours..and she couldnt walk for like a day. it's only because he overworked the nerves.. nothing to worry about.

I believe it is suppose to release toxins out of your body and relax parts of you that you didn't know existed. So, if you smoke or drink or eat a lot of unhealthy foods, then it could be the toxins getting out of your body. Drink alot of water to help it get out faster and easier. Anything can happen when it comes to rubbing a foot!

It sounds like reflexology. You can be sore after that, especially if there were some areas that indicated a problem. Reflexology point on the foot correspond to organ systems in the body. (For example, if you have a headache, squeezing the nail of the right pinky toe can help relieve it.) When if contacting those points it causes pain, there may be a problem with that organ system and the reflexologist will massage that area to facilitate healing. It is all based on the Meridian Line Theory used in Chinese Medicine.

As far as feeling tired and lethargic, that can happen after any type of massage. During a massage your circulation increases and those effects can last long after the massage is over. If you had toxins or other types of poisons in the muscle tissue, they massage works them out and they are dumped into the system all at once, causing a tired-y lethargic feeling. Its why your massage therapist tells you to drink lots of water after a massage.

Reflexology is the same. He may have contacted some points that stimulated the circulation or stimulated your body to detoxify. Most likely, you really needed whatever it was that the therapist performed.

sometimes your muscles can get very sore from a massage, especially if it is a deep one, its like when you go and work out really hard at the gym. you need to make sure you drink a lot of water to help flush out the toxins so they don't resettle in you body somewhere else. this will also help to combat the soreness and flu-like symptoms you may be expirencing.
to feel tired... maybe extra relaxed, but if you are fatigued you need to up your water intake.
this guy sounds fab, a good reflexologist is a good thing to have!

I personally ALWAYS FEEL GREAT the day + the day(s) afterwards. This is why I go to a similiar service in my town down the street atleast once a week. It helps lower back a lot as well as for total relaxation :o)

Do you ever wish that you could give YOURSELF a foot or back massage?

Like if there were TWO of you. Because it's just not the same when you do it all by yourself(for a foot massage) and you know exactly how you like it right?

And to make it more on-topic, throw in giving yourself a pedicure/manicure while being able to relax at the same time.

You kinda can give yourself a foot massage. Rub the lotion in really well and massage it while you're moisturizing. :)

yes that would be awesome!!!

all the friggin time xD

Yes. I hate that its not the same as when someone else does it.

Every single minute =)

Oh yeah. That would be awesome.

Yeah I always think that everybody else moans about doing it!! That would be so cool!!

Would you be interested in having a free foot massage?

Ladies, would you be interested in having a free foot massage? It won't cost you a thing however,if your feet are ticklish please let me know.

OMG! I LOOOOOVE foot massages!! I try to get my boyfriend to giveme them as often as possible. And, yes, I have really ticklish feet!

What if a guy offers you a foot massage?

What if you knew this guy had a foot fetish and he would get off on giving you this foot massage. Woul you let him or be disgusted and run away?

Its just a fetish, as long as he is not breathing over your neck to smell or touch your foot then its fine. I would be alright with it because its just an obsession and we all have them. For an example, I have an Internet obsession and I wouldn't want a guy to run away from me because of that.

It depends on how much you love him. If you love him, you would let him touch your feet and let him know how it makes you feel. If he cannot find a way to except that then breakup with him because its not worth it if he is going to be controlling like that. If it is a small foot fetish, then let him massage it, it might even feel good.

i'd let him. it's his fetish, not mine.

I'd allow it.

Who cares - I may get just as happy as him!

Is it possible to give an orgasm by a foot massage? And how would you have to give the massage to cause it?

There is a commerical on network tv where a man is giving a woman a foot massage and she experiences an orgasm. Is this possible and how does it work?

Yes, you can.

Though some women can orgasm just from having the right thoughts. Orgasm is more controlled by the mind than the body.

Although the feet aren't a usual erogenous zone, with the right mental state & the added physical stimulation, an orgasm from foot massage is quite possible for some women.

I don't think you can engineer the foot massage in order to create an orgasm though. It would depend very heavily on the individual woman in queston.

ha ha ha, i doubt it. what were they selling?

you'd have to be giving her a foot massage and ALSO doing a few other things to her at the same time to get anything close to an orgasm. it's not like "rub rub rub... ah!!!!!!!"

depends on what you are massaging with your foot, I guess.

Oh. you mean by rubbing her feet. Anything's possible, I guess. Don't know anybody that's pulled it off, though.

No toe job jokes. pleez

I guess it depends on the person. Some people just have higher libidos then others

Where do I go to get a foot massage?

I'm a guy, and sometimes my feet hurt because of ways I sit. I stopped sitting like that, but my foot still aches. Someone suggest I have my feet massaged. Where do I go to get that done? Also, I'm kind of nervous because I think that only girls would go to a spa or something, and I'll look awkward being the only guy.

What should I do? What kinds of places should I look for? Is there a type of massage I need?

Think about looking for a Reflexology practitioner. That will work as a foot massage as well as sort out any problems you may have that may be causing your pain.

It costs but so will any regular massage.

Also don't worry about being male. Both genders have foot massages and reflexology

Would you like to have a free foot massage?

Ladies, would you like to have a free foot massage? It won't cost you a penny however, promise me that you won't put your feet in my face. Save it for Halloween.

Yeahh I Totally Would!

What are the benefits of FOOT MASSAGE?

Hi,

Can you tell me, especially those with personal experience. What are the benefits of having feet/foot massages & how does one benefit from them?

If you've ever had one yourself did you benefit from them?

Thank you.

Other than the fact that it feels good, it helps strengthen ligaments and muscles in your feet which results in better balance, ability to absorb shock better, gait, faster foot work, running, etc. Research also shown that walking on cobblestones barefoot lowers stress and blood pressure.
