What product can I buy to promote hair growth?
I have shoulder length hair and it has never been longer than that. I want long healthy hair, but not having to order a something online. I want to be able to go buy it in a store. My friend told me about a hair growth product from whole foods, but i dont know whether to buy it or not. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS?

an inexpensive way to make your hair grow quick (and sounds unusual i know) is to drink a couple of red bulls a day, i drank it for a few months and my hair grew at an alarming rate!! i think it is because it is high in vitamin b6 and has panthenol in it. I had my hair break off due to too much hair colouring, it came off to above shoulder length and it grew half way down my back in a year. And lots of head massage and excersize as this promotes good blood circulation, the hair is fed at its root under the skin via nutrients from the blood stream.
It's bad enough with me, a man, but I could just imagine how bad it would be with two women, or more.

unfortunatly there aren't any pills or medications you can take to make your hair grow.
and the good thing about hair extensions is that your hair will still grow while you have them in so you can stop wearing them when your hair grows.
in my opinion, the best hair extensions are the clip in ones because you can take them out whenever you want and you dont have to worry about going back to the hair dresser every 4 weeks to get them put back in.

Ok! I am african american and i have supper short hair and i am now deciding to grow it out because i a m tiered of arguing with my parentals about gettin' weave and braids so i just wanted to know a good hair growth product i could use! I already have Doo Gro,...and i used it for a while,..so um how long will it take to actually work,..if anyone knows?

It costs about $9 and most beauty supply stores keep it behind the counter. So if you don't see it in the store, ask someone for it. You most likely won't find it in any other store besides a specialty hair supply store.
I makes your hair so soft and repairs damage. I've cut my hair short before and less than a year later its past my ears. You only have to use a few drops a day so that $9 goes a looooong way. lol.
I think you should just do it the natural way, but getting products like Pink can help A LOT! because usualy if your hair is short and it isnt growing that must mean its breaking off.

I've been looking and looking and all the products are the same. They work for some but not others. Or they take a ridiculously long time to give you an inch of growth. Unfortunately, there are no products that will speed the growth of your hair. However, there are products on the market that will aid in the growth of healthy hair depending on your hair texture and condition.
Examples: Paul Mitchell, Nexus, Revlon porosity control. If your hair is chemically treated, use a product for that type of hair, if your hair is dry use hydrating products. These products can be purchased at a hair salon or beauty supply store.
Remember: No excessive heat or home hair care chemicals.
Have ends trimmed on a regular basis (6-8) weeks.

It does not work. Best thing to do is go see a doctor. Or you can try other hair growth treatments. I'm not African American but my mother is. Try some Pine Tar It works great on both my mother and my hair. I use on my hair for dandruff and she used it to help her hair on the side of her head grow. A Chinese guy recommended this. It has a really different smell.
