Laser Hair Removal: What Are The Possible Side Effects Of Laser Hair Removal? Best Syndication

Hair can grow in the most undesirable places and it can also be a pain to get rid of. There are all kinds of ways to get rid of unwanted growth on the face, chest, legs, arms and bikini line and anywhere else it decides to grow. Traditional shaving methods are time consuming and often end in either painful slices or you simply can’t get a close enough shave. Waxing- either at home or in the salon, ouch! Other products claim to miraculously wipe away the growth in a painless manner.

If you are serious about significantly reducing the amount of growth and the texture of it, laser hair removal is a great option. Before you sign up, you need to know what the possible risks and side effects are:

Pain and swelling: Yes, the laser is going to be a little painful. Depending on the type of equipment, it may be a light sting to a more intense sensation. They are all completely tolerable. Afterwards, you will notice that the treated place appears irritated and swollen. This is normal and it will subside as it heals.

Hair removal?

ok besides laser hair removal surgery and body wax. what is another way to remove hair and kill it so it will never grow back? or at least for a very long time. i will try anything products to remedies.

Well, laser removal is the most permanent. Wax is the next best thing, as more often you do it, less hair grows back, same idea goes with tweezing (but that depends on how much hair and what part of the body). The next best option is the creams like Nair which last about 7-10 days and the hair does not grow back stubbly like when you shave. The creams also come in a spray form if your area is hard to reach. Good Luck.

I have heard of dabbing peroxide on the hair will eventually kill the root but dont know how long it takes.

laser removal is the most perminate but im nut shure about hair removal products

You could try an Epilady or similar product. It's a machine that yanks the hair out at the roots. And yeah, it hurts like heck. The upside is it takes 3-6 weeks for your hair to grow back, and when it does, it's a lot finer and thinner, and if you use it enough, it weakens the hair follicle to the point that hair won't grow. In my opinion, I'd rather wax than use one of these, but an Epilady is less expensive and less messy.

well yes laser hair remover is the best......i've also heard that yes waxing does remove the hair for a while but it tears up your skin really really bad and that waxing and tweezing is the two worst things. just so you know.....

What brand of hair removal lotion is the best?

I Just figured out that hair removal lotion is not cancerous or anything, and that's a really good thing because its pain free and everything. But i use it on my upper lips, will that cause any harm? And if so, what the best way to take of upper lip hair (at home, little cost, i don't really care if it hurts, and it had to last a long time) preferrably a hair removal lotion.
Thanks.

I use Nair on my upper lips and above my eyebrows. I buy the one used for face only. The applicator is angled and easier to use.

Nair is nice, but for legs only. But, it smells a bit so you need to cover the smell with lotion/body spray.

Most hair removal creams can irritate sensitive skin, so keep it away from your face. For that, try little wax strips, those would most likely work.

How long after lazer hair removal until the hair begins to grow back?

My husband has had lazer hair removal on his neck to prevent ingrowing hairs. It has worked well however, he has a line where his beard starts along his jaw line. This is fine for the first half of the day, but by the end of the day he looks like he has shaved it in like a George Michael wannabe.
When can he expect this line to fade??

um...in fact...laser hair removal is supposed to be permanent, and that means no hair is supposed to grow back...that's why it's the most advanced and expensive hair removal treatment around....anywayz if the hair still grows back,i think your husband has got to visit the clinic where he had his treatment done and get his doubts professionally cleared as soon as possible..

What are the best home laser hair removal products on the market?

I'm currently looking into buying a Rio Salon Laser LAHR hair removal set which retails for approx ~ $120 online - this only removes one hair at a time but appears to be effective for most people. Are there any other similar *laser* products in this price range that offer multiple-hair removal capabilities? If you speak from personal experience, it's all the better! Thanks!

Okay, if i were you i wouldn't even think of LaserHairRemoval! As I watched on TV on Tyra, This girl had a laser hair removal on her stomach and it just burned . And then this other girl was just going to remove her facial hair, it burned her skin too! Now they are left with scars for the rest of their lives!

Try waxing, or deplitory.

I would do research first before you write that check or give your credit number. Be careful of scams

The Rio laser is the only approved laser hair removal kit available to my knowledge. It is manufactured by a long standing U.K company and has passed all safety tests.

The Rio laser uses a safe 808nm diverging diode laser system. It is not as powerful as a salon laser and requires more treatments, but then again it is a fraction of the cost!

There are many horror stories out there, most of which are based on very old laser systems that are no longer used.

How short does your hair need to be for laser hair removal to be effective?

I want to get laser hair removal done on my sideburns. They're longer than I like. The top half is made up of thick hairs, but the bottom half is made up of short, thin hairs. Before I get the laser done, do I have to shave off the short, thin hairs? I'm afraid that they will grow back thick and noticable.

when i went to get laser hair removal on my underarms, they told me that i had to have shaven the area within twenty four hours of the procedure. where ever you're getting it done you should ask if they think the laser hair removal will work on the short thin hairs you have under your sideburns because i heard it doesn't work on hair that's almost like peach fuzz.

The technician doing the procedure should trim the hair if it's needed.

you have to shave. Here is a great article that gives a first hand account of and completely describes the laser hair removal process. I think this will help to answer your question. ENJOY!

I think your best bet is to contact a doctor or clinic that does laser hair removal and ask them.

How does professional hair removal work?

I want to get it done but I am not sure how they do it ? Is it really spendy ? What is the best type of permanent hair removal ?

Where are you getting it done?

If it's on your face / eyebrows make sure you get them shaped professionally first, and be happy with the shape before you go off to a clinic to get the regrowth removed permanently.

There are different types - lasers which are used for bigger areas, eg cheeks, back, arms etc. The hair follicle absorbs the energy of the laser and dies, over a course of sessions, probably around 6.

There's also tweezers which are basically electrified. They grab individual hairs and then send a zap through the tweezers, down through the hair into the follicle. Do that enough times and the follicle dies.
Doesn't hurt at all, although electrolysis does (I think it's becoming obsolete now, where they stick an electrified pin into the hair follicle - that apparently hurts)

Both cost a fair amount of cash, depends what you're having done - but it's not ridiculously expensive, prob cost you $30 - 40 per session / over 6 - 10 sessions at a guess)
Hope this helps

best type is laser. you go in and you lay or sit down, they put a gel over the area to be treated, you wear eye protection (from the laser) then they zap away. It kinda feels like hot bacon grease. But after a few treatments no more hair

laser is the best permenent its pricy though its like 2 dollars per hair im ganna get it done when im older right now i stick to waxing and plucking it doesnt hurt as much as ppl scare you

How do you get spilled (hair removal) wax off of carpet? Any good ideas?

Its GiGi brand hair removal wax and its pink and really sticky,
I practically dumped half the bottle of the removal lotion for the wax on the carpet and still didn't bother to come off.

if you put ice on it to freeze it you may be able to pick it off or cut it out with scissors.

This could be a slow process but try it.

Heat small areas of the spill with a 1600 Watt (or hotter) hair dryer and start blotting the area with cloth rags, soaking up the wax. Don't use paper towels or Kleenex because it will just make the mess that much worse.

Best of luck.

I had a cleaning service, try this, put some wax paper or a cotton rag over it and go over the rag or wax paper with a medium hot iron and then collect it with the rag or wax paper. this I know works for spilled candle wax.

GooGone! I used it and it, all the wax came up and it didn't even leave a grease stain! Wonderful stuff...works for gum in your hair too! ;)

What is the best method of painless hair removal?

Are there any good hair removal products or devices that assist in long lasting & painless (or almost painless) hair removal? Specially when it comes to more 'delicate' areas such as bikini or brows. I am looking for alternatives to shaving and waxing. Thanks.

What hair removal cream is best for pubic hair?

I don't want to shave or wax, and I've used nair and didn't like it. Right now I'm using Sally Hansen hair removal spray, but it's not technically FOR pubic hair and it leaves a bad stubble. I go for a Brazilian style, so I leave NO hair.

What's your favorite product for this? Any other input would be appreciated. Thanks.

How does one become a licensed laser hair removal specialist?

I am in Washington state - not sure if that makes a difference. I can find all kinds of beauty schools offering training for the removal of hair via waxing, however, I cannot find anything offering training for laser hair removal.

Go to the attached site. Some of the providers listed offer training schools. Just call the number, 888.517.4187, ask for Doug and ask him to get you a list of which providers offer certification.

Good luck.

The Advantages of Laser Hair Removal available at Miami Laser Hair Removal:

A laser hair removal treatment can be carried out on large areas such as the chest, back and legs in one session. If there is re-growth after laser hair removal this be be much lighter and finer in texture than before. It can be virtually painless when compared with waxing and electrolysis as a means of body hair removal. Side effects are quite rare and usually temporary.
