The tale of the hair and the Rabbits Port Stephens Examiner

THE transformation of Kristina Keneally continues.

The former premier, whose radical new hairstyle made front-page news, will take a seat at the board of the South Sydney Rabbitohs' charitable arm.

In her only interview since stepping out with blonde hair extensions following an overseas holiday, Ms Keneally told The Sun-Herald she was ''energised'' for the role at Souths and her new look represented a new chapter in her political career.

''I didn't always have the flick. It was a look that was part of my time as premier, so it was a natural time for a change. Life's more interesting when you mix things up. Besides, sometimes women just want to change their hair. Simple as that.''

Ms Keneally said she was surprised that her longer locks - which received mixed reviews - caused such a fuss.

''I was surprised by how much attention it got from some sections of the media but it makes you wonder how little the O'Farrell government is doing if my hair can

5 Cute and Easy Hair Styles in Under 3 minutes

I KNOW THESE STYLES ARE NOT VERY GOOD BUT I AM BETTER AT HAIR NOW AND I DO REALIZE THAT THESE STYLES ARE NOT GREAT. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE HATE ...

Hair Style?

I'm planning on coloring my hair then styling it, i have dirty blond hair with natural red highlights (the scottish and irish) and i was just wondering, would a light blond (highlights) look good with my natural hair color or would another color look better? I'm also planning on either getting it layered too, any tips? THANX!

I think that the highlights would look good and natural in your hair. As for the layers, be careful: the last time I got layers and my hair started growing out, it made me look like I've got a mullet.

sure i think blonde highlights would look nice are you coloring yourself ?are you going to a stylist?i love my hair layered but it dependson your hairs texture if you need layers and just how much good luck !

I think honey blond would go great with your natural color because it will highlight your face and layer would be great also because your hair would have a lot of body and texture to you hair and it will bring on a new look for you

Use hairstyles software before getting it done. It will avoid surprises.

Can someone give me a good hair style to wear tomorrow?

Ok tomarrow is when I start school. My hair on the right is all the way in my shoulder, but since my left side of my hair was a little damaged it bearly touches my shoulder. Anyone got a hair style for my hair like pin ups or something. I would usually wear my hair all out, but I need some new hair tips now.
I don't want that many chemicals in my hair.

one suggestion would be to pull the long side to the short side and either clip it or put a band on it. bangs would complete the look.

What is the best bang hair style for round faces?

Currently, I have hair a little below the shoulders and side bangs. However, I would love to change my style. I have a very round face, and I wish to get my bangs styled so that they take away from the roundness of my cheeks and highlight the rest of my features. The texture of my hair is fine. What would you reccomend? And could you provide a picture of an example if possible?

side bangs for sure! i have a round face and side bangs saved me!

ummm....grow the bangs out....or get little kid ones

I think long side bangs that go to about your cheed bone.

Here is a site all about hair for round faces:
http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip464.htm

http://www.visual-makeover.com/face.htm

Curl the ends of your hair wiht a curling iron, and keep your side bands to the side. It would look reaaly cute! :)

When you say bangs, Im presuming that you mean a fringe and or layers. (Im not American)

If you have a very round face, you should avoid framing it with layers at the sides, this will only show off the roundness and make you look chubby.

Ideally you would have a fringe that is fairley heavy set(depending on the size of your forehead-whatever is most flattering) It shouldnt come straight down but be swept over to the side, to give the effect of a more oval face shape by 'breaking' the roundness at the top of the head/face and leaving a 'triangle' of forehead showing through, so dont have it cut too short either. The layers 'to frame your face' at the side should not start until just BELOW your chin, again this is to create the illusion of length in the face any higher and it will show off the roundness. Although you should have your fringe coming over from the side its very effective to keep your parting in the middle, again to add length.

Since your hair is fine in texture (I will presume in density also?) I would say that you could benefit from having layers through the back of your hair in order to gain a little height in the crown area, again something to help flatter the face by giving the impression of length, just dont get them too many/too short either as it can leave the ends of fine hair very thin looking if there are too many layers.

Its amazing the difference that a good cut that takes all the factors into consideration can do.

Remember to ask which products will help you to manage the style better at home - the professional ones really do make all the difference when prescribed properly.

Hope this helps you out

What is the best hair style for longish hair on guys?

Ok so my hair is medium length (im a guy) its not to long, just going down to the bottom of my ears (dark blond btw), it also slightly curls up at the ends. I guess the best way to describe it is skater style/length.

Straighten it keep it at that length it is so cute

What kind of hair style can make a round face looks more beautiful?

I am a girl with a round face, just like a big apple. And now I have a head of straight hair. I want to change the style. How can I make it fits my face?

I have the same problem. I have my hair to my shoulders but lots of layers to give it a full look. It makes my face seem skinnyer. If you have short short hair, it will show off the roundness of your face. My advice...keep it longer. Shorter will just make your face seem "fatter." Or it did mine anyways...Good luck.

Breast implants. They won't even notice your face.

lshort hair with layers and bangs to make it look less round

u can curl your hair that`ll match!

Comb from the nape of the neck straight forward, now don,t you look better.

sprinkle

Tommy, your a blast. Love the answer. I have a round face and I cut my hair short and parted it on the side for height. You need height in order to make your face appear smaller. Go and try on some wigs first, this will really help. good luck

Get lots and lots of layers....especially around your face!

The style that Reba McIntyre had for the last several years is great for a round face. It does take maintenance and time to fix. For a straight look if your hair is long enough you could go with a Inverted Bob haircut or kind of a Barbara Streisand haircut.

Long layers around the face to lengthen it. Side bangs work too. Style the hair smooth to elongate the face.
Avoid too many short layers, or short blunt bangs as they have the effect of adding width.

Layers toward the face and side-swept bangs. Try looking in those hair idea magazines at the grocery, I always try to find models that have the same type of face as I do, then you can see what that style would look like on you. Good luck!

straight hair will do...............that will look nice...............

layered, short or long... i think its better long

Do you watch Eastenders? Dawn and Honey have round face and their hair looks great..

http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastenders/characters_cast/characters/index.shtml

Try this:

Try some long layers with side bangs. Don't get a bob or a short style because it will simply make your face look rounder.

I think we could have the same shape head...

What I do when I want to change my hairstyle is:

Go to the local newsagents and get a magazine about hair most of them will have sections in them with many different styles to suit your hair.. I advise you to glance through the magazine before you buy as these magazines can be very expensive...

If you find a haircut of many haircuts cut them out of the magazine or simply bring this to your hair dresser...

If you see a cut in the magazine that you like but won't know if it will suit you bring it along to the hairdressers aswell and ask her will it suit you..Most hairdressers should know if it will suit you or not but a good hairdresser will..

I opted for loads of very very short layers kept the lenght which is below my shoulders and put a few flashes of blonde through it (my hair is brown) but i then changed my mind and change the blonde every now and then from pink to red to whatever i can get my hands on...lol

Good luck

I have a round face too! I can tell you the things to avoid for those of us with round faces. First, don't part down the middle! A side part helps slim the face. Also, side-swept bangs are very in right now, this will help also. Don't be scared to put your hair up, just do it high on your head and semi-messy. Don't curl your hair! Soft curls are okay but don't do anything to add to the width of your face. If you don't think you can do bangs, do a side part with some layering at the bottom. Good luck!

why don't you check out styles that Julia Stiles, Cameron Diaz, kristen Dunst, and Kelly Clarkson

What hair style do you think I should get in a week?

My hair is long and it's time for a haircut. Everyone of my friends(even the guys) say to keep my hair long so thats what Im going to do. I just dont know what kind of style. Should I get it layered? Or something else? Please help im getting my haircutt on jan.30th :) thankss!

choppy layers with bangs! : )
something like this would look great on your
long hair:

you could have it curled/straightened ((which ever ine you dont have now))
layered would look cute

What is a cute hair style for middle school?

My daughter wants a new hair style for school. She has brown/blonde hair and it's cut in layers and is about an inch past the shoulder. She usually has it down straight or in a ponytail. She only has about 10-20 minutes(maybe 30) to do the hair style. Also the easier the better.

Bangs!
Middle school girls are all about bangs now..
&& she can still wear it up in the ponytail and let the bangs hang or she can clip them back with a barret or bobby pin

How to I style my shoulder length hair?

OK, here is the scoop: I have one-length hair just past my shoulders. I have bangs, just normal run on the mill bangs. My hair is mostly straight, just a slight wave to it. Medium thickness. It is healthy with little damage. I try to avoid using blow dryers, curling irons, and flat irons because I want to keep it healthy.

I only have a little time in the mornings to style my hair. I am an elementary school teacher, and I need a quick, easy professional hair style. I'd like to keep my length so I can clip my hair back on occasion. But as it is, its very boring.

Any suggestions for a new hair style or cut?

make sure its layered, because then...you can have a shower, towel dry it, brush it and you wouldn't have to do much else with it, it would sit nicely all on its own...of course a little colour...perhaps some hair clips or a flower in your hair would set it off nicely...layered hair always sits really well..up or down...

What hair style is best for growing hair that was cut?

I cut my hair and i'm going to start giving myself a hot oil treatment and condition my hair daily with Carol's Daughter, natural products to get it healthy again but because I cut it I dont know what hair style to wear. I don't like the short hair style so I was thinking about cornrows or put individual braids but i'm afarid it might pull my hair out or contiue to braid and sow it but that also causes hair breakage. I was going to glye instead of sowing it but if I want to grease my hair it will slip but I believe if I continue to give a hot oil treatment and condition it intensly it should be okay. Any suggestions or new ideas?

You can use add-on clips for hair extensions. There are some brands that will not damage your own hair. You could also wear them on a daily bases. In the mean time try to relax and give your hair some essential treatment that would promote it to grow faster and healthier. Good luck and enjoy your new haircut :)
