Redditch health and beauty spa goes pink for Breast Cancer Care Redditch Advertiser

A REDDITCH health and beauty spa is supporting National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, by hosting a Pink Party this Friday, October 7.

The Pink Friday concept, now in its second year, encourages individuals and organisations to hold a fundraising event during October, to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.

Your Exclusive Spa, at The Southcrest Manor Hotel, Redditch, is inviting people to pop in for a special pink pampering party, from 5.30-8pm on Friday.

Complimentary refreshments will be served and there will be beauty treatment demonstrations and the opportunity for a free consultation with the spa’s new hair stylist Emma. There will also be exclusive treatment and product offers on the night.

The spa hopes to raise money at the event via a silent auction where people can bid for numerous items or services, donated by local businesses.

Spa owner Ann Chandler said: “When I worked for the Health Education Authority I met many people of all ages who had breast cancer.

Any opinions on Jewel's Health & Beauty Spa in Lima, OH?

Looking for a new hairdresser.

I have never been there but I would just like to say that on yahoo answers this is the first place that I have ever saw that was even near my living area. I'm in Tiffin and every day I come to this site there is many questions on is this place good or that place and this is the first one I saw that was even close to me. All though I have only been to lima once or twice. I just thought I should comment.

Sorry I'm no help.

Are you trying to sell us something?

Why would anyone nowadays open a business such as a health and beauty spa??/?

would like to know your say on this....

*It's a booming market
*Some areas are not stuffed with spas (though mine is!)
*The person opening the spa thinks s/he has something different to offer from what the other spas have

That said, I wouldn't open a spa. The market seems oversaturated to me.

That's true it does seem as though there is a spa on every corner. I think if you did have one it would be a great place to market your products if you were in a direct selling company. I am a distributor of a health beverage and I would love to get my product in a spa. To do that I would have to have the owner join me as a distributor, but I would still benefit from her sales, and she would to quite well, considering she has the clients coming to her, and is not having to look for them.

Does anybody know of or recommend any Beauty Salons/Health Spas in Ipswich or Stowmarket?

I'm trying to sort out my work experience. I am beginning to get desperate as I don't have much time left to sort it out. I'm interested in Beauty and fashion and that. Has anyone got any ideas?
I would really appreciate it.

Know of any fitness related health spas on the east coast?

My mother and I usually go to the Oaks at Ojai in CA but we are looking to see if there is something similar on the east coast. We are looking more for a fitness related health spa as opposed to a beauty spa.

Not sure. Google it.

Does anyone have any experience with a Spa/Resort in Bavaria Germany that you would recommend?

I am thinking about going at the end of October beginning of November and am looking for a resort in which I can get health and beauty treatments ,as well as, other physical activities such as hiking and swimming. I would also like to use it as a base for day touring such as Neuschwanstein Castle etc. I won't have a car unless I rent one. Is it necessary? Would love some sort of hotel/spa package. Of course accommadations and food must be good. Entertainment would be a plus. Not asking for much am I? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your thoughts?

InterContinental Berchtesgaden seems to have it all, you can check this link and watch the photo tour of the place. It looks wonderful amidst the Bavarian Alps. It's very well connected so probably you won't need to rent a car. This is my favourite part of Germany; not only because it's scenic, but because of the first class, yet calm and unobtrusive service.

thanks in advance

Well I really like the colors and the layout on your site. Blues are calming. It gave me a good feeling.
However I don't think you should use the word Perfect. It puts tooo much pressure on a person and the expectations are far to high to attain.
I think the majority of people don't want to be "perfect" but rather become the best that they can be with alittle help from you.

Unless of course you are aiming for those that are so vain they will do and pay any amount to achive perfection. . ..

If you are focussing on the wellness and relaxation portion I would say things like "helping you find your inner beauty and restoring your body to its healthy balance". Things that suggest a feeling of well being.

For cosmetic procedures, you could encourage the notion of becoming more self confident. You know the saying. .. if you look good you feel good and do good.

Just my opinion. Good luck.

Nice site! Maybe some relaxing sounds to go with it? Good luck!!

nice, classy. luv the blue. calming. keep it up, it's going well.

dont get me wrong i love blue! but its a little too much blue. mabey some other soothing pastel colors would be nice. hope ur buisness goes well!

Whats the best way for a man to remove unwanted hair from his back?

I'm taking my girlfriend away to Paris for a long weekend for her birthday, I'v booked us into a really posh hotel that has a health spa/beauty salon type thing on the premises so she should love that, anyway, we have decided that we are going to sleep together for the first time, the thing is she has never actually seen me shirtless, well not properly anyway, and I think my hairy back might turn her off.
I lift weights and play alot of sport so I don't really have any hang-ups about my body except this one thing, its not freakishly hairy but I know women hate that shit.
What is the best way of de-hairing my back before next friday?
I was thinking I could get waxed in that beauty place at the hotel but id feel so feminised and it would mean coming out of the clausete about my hairyness lol
Anyone know the best way to go about this?

You should really relax and be confident with yourself. Especially if this is the beginning of the relationship. Think about if she started asking what you thought about her cellulite or thighs or something. you would notice it more, focus on it, and see her as insecure.
Be yourself, and if you guys become more serious (and comfortable with each other) maybe you can be more candid with each other about these little quirks. I would get kind of freaked out if my boyfriend waxed his back, i would wonder what the hell he was thinking. Go watch 40 year old virgin.
Be confident, have a fun weekend, don'tt sweat your little imperfections, remember no one is perfect!

What plans have you made for your lover on Valentine's Day?

A night out? A health retreat? Day of beauty (spa)? Movie? Dinner? Candy? Flowers? Jewe;ry? Gifts? Theater? Or simply veg in? Be specific to help others get ideas.

Put hersheys kisses all over the floor and leave a note saying "i kiss the ground you walk on
Put a rose in his side of the bed three days before of St. Valentine Day.
Scatter red rose petals on the floor
Cut out little hearts, a whole bunch of them, and put them inside a pretty card with a little glitter. Glitter scatters when he opens it.
