Hungry Criminal Gets 80 Years in Prison Courthouse News Service
FORT WORTH (CN) - A career criminal was sentenced to 80 years in prison for buying movie snacks with a bogus $20 bill. Charles Nowden, 48, paid for two hot dogs, two Cokes and a tub of popcorn with the counterfeit cash. More recently, he was accused of stealing lawnmowers.
A state jury convicted Nowden, of Mansfield, of forgery after three hours of deliberations. Nowden made his ill-advised purchase at a Mansfield movie theater in November 2009.
After he was arrested, police found another $120 in counterfeit bills tucked inside the hot dog wrapper, Tarrant County prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said Nowden has three other pending theft charges against him. He was arrested in 2008, allegedly in possession of stolen all-terrain vehicles. In 2010 he was linked through DNA to a stolen 18-wheeler truck, and this year he was caught stealing lawnmowers
How Do They Build A Hot Tub Spa? - Part One of Two.
Poolandspa.TV visits the Artesian Spas plant in Las Vegas, Nevada for a complete start-to-finish tour of exactly how a modern hot tub spa is ...

When I turn the jets on in my hot tub, it comes on for two seconds and then shuts off. What is the problem?
The hot tub has two jet settings, high and low. When on high it works fine, when on low, it turns on for two seconds and then shuts off. Then, every minute or so it will continually try to turn back on and then shut off. I think it has something to do with my water pump. Maybe it lost its lower gear or something like that.
Your correct in yoru assumption it is most lkely your pump. The switch has failed letting it go from high to low speed. A capacitor has died. If not those then it's a board problem.
When renting a cabin would you like a hot tub or two antique clawfoot bath tubs with endless hot water better.
I am planning on setting up a cabin in the mountains and was wondering if people would like two old clawfoot tubs out on the porch as much as they love the hot tubs I usually put in the cabins.
I would prefer the hot tub.
ttc question. hot tub during two week wait?
just wondering if going into a hot tub during the two week wait would have any negative effects. would it make implantation less likely to happen? or would it cause implantation to fail? i was planning on going to a hot tub place with my mom, but we will put it off if there is any chance it would ruin my chances.
Hot tub during Two week wait?
Is it ok to go into a jacuzzi or hot tub during the two week wait?...i was also wondering if any1 has had any cramps during two week wait?....i had unprotected sex this week, which was my fertile/ovulation week, and i had cramps yesterday....i never have cramps unless i have my period which is always regular....or is it way 2 early to feel anything?
I actually asked this question myself about 2 weeks ago because i had period like cramps for 6days in a row and i wasnt due on for another week...and like you i usually only get pains the night before or on the day im gona come on. Anyway a lot of people told me that it would be to early to tell so it could be something else, but...i was due on on thurs 23rd and it hasnt arrived yet. I took a test this morning and got a BFN but im gona take another 1 in a week if i still havent come on. Anyway...yeh you could be pregnant, they could be implantation pains or something. As for the hot tub, i really dont see why it would be a problem. Good luck x
Looking for a Hotel in Ohio that offers a Hot tub in the bedroom?
I really just want a weekend of relaxatoin. A nice room with a hot tub for two would be perfect in the room. I am not too sure on all the terms and differences with hot tubs and jacuzzis/ but I think Jacuzzis are just special jets in a bigger bathtub. I want the hot tub instead of that.
There is actually a Web page that lists a whole bunch of Ohio hotels with in-room hot tubs:
http://www.excellent-romantic-vacations.com/ohio-jacuzzi-suites.html
Don't be put off by the word Jacuzzi, because that's a just a brand name. It can mean a big bath tub, like your question mentioned, or it can mean a hot tub. You have to read the descriptions (and sometimes you just have to call the hotel and ask.) I think that technically, "hot tubs" are supposed to be outdoors, while whirlpools, spas, and other things like that are indoors, but people use the words interchangeably.
Good luck, and have a *wonderful* time. :-)
My hot tub shuts off (trips the GFI breaker) if I hit the "jets" button two times too quickly. Any idea why?
We recently bought a used Cal Spas hot tub with limited documentation, none of which addresses this possible scenario.
By default, the spa runs the pump for four hours after I first turn it on. Two times now I have gotten too anxious and have played with the jets or light during that four hour period.
Usually that doesn't create a problem but both times I accidentally turned the jets one when I meant to hit lights. I rapidly hit the jets button a second time to shut off the jets.
Both times that has caused the GFI breaker to trip.
In each case, it takes about 12 hours before I can turn the breaker back on and restart the hot tub.
Any thoughts?
Now hold on pardner! Don't run out and pour more power in, or buy a new breaker! Sounds to me like the breaker is doing it's job. What is confusing is you think you are working with the gfi, when what you are experiencing is an overload. Starting and stopping any big motor is going to cause excessively high current and high current will cause an overload. You don't have a real problem, just let the pump run for a minuet or so after turning it on and then shut it off, your problem will go away or my name isn't Sparky.
Could anyone send me plans on how to build steps for a hot tub? I will choose you as the best answer if you do
If you have detailed blue-prints or plans as to how to build hot-tub stairs (two or three steps to help get in it), please send them to twogigpartition@aol.com. I'll be sure to give you the best answer. Thanks!
you will need to give more detailed info then that what is the rise what is the run. basically how high do you want them to go in what sort of distance. but easuest way I can tell you go to home depot buy a stair stringer two of them one for eathier side of the stair case next find a piece of wood that will fit in length and width that you will step onto you can have open stairs or closed if they are open just put a piece on the part you wuld step on if you want them closed you put one where you step and one on the back of it. as far as fixing it into the groud you could go with concret or just nail it directly into the deck sorry do not nail use screws for all fastening puposes.
I would suggest you buy a precut stringer (or 3). Since this is for a hot tub and that means water, I would buy one out of treated lumber. They are readily available at your home center store.
Depending on the width of the stairs and the material used for the tread you want will determine the number of stringers you need.
I would recommend a minimum width of 48" (4 feet) and using treated 2 x 12 common stock for treads (this would require a minimum of 2 stringers,(placed 12" in from each end) and three if you want the stringers on the outside edges of the treads (one in the middle). You can use 5/4 board (2 on each step) as well but would need to place the stringers 16" OC then.
I have a 1998 Cal Spa hot tub what is it worth for resale?
I have two hot tubs and am wanting to sell this one. It is in great working condition and just need help on how much to sell it for. If anyone knows it is a genesis Kona by Cal Spas. In the color desert. Serial: 98-6787? Greatly appreciated!!!

How can we know if our porch is strong enough to support a hot tub?
We want to buy a small two person hot tub and put it on our kitchen porch (which is really large). What kind of professional should we have in to tell us whether our porch can support that kind of weight? Can someone at the hot tub place tell us, or is there some kind of contractor who can answer this question?
The hot tub place can tell you ,if you give them some measurements. Have to look under the porch to see what size of floor joists you have - 2x8 or 2x10, 16 inches apart or more. Give them the numbers of all measurements you can make. This information would be needed by a contractor too.
I'm looking to book a spa package for two (massages, facials, hot tub, a combination of these) in Toronto.
Its for my boyfriend and I. Our price range is flexible, we are both working professionals. I'm not looking for people to just google this and give me a list - I'm looking for answers from people that have tried spas in the Toronto area - and even done some of the couples packages!
Look forward to hearing the answers!!!!!
It's outside of Toronto but I was really impressed by Ste. Anne’s Spa just north of Coburg. They have a "Stress Express" train/limo service from Union Station downtown. (Train to Coburg, limo to the spa). My wife and I went there and it was pretty awesome. I don't have a bunch of experience with Spa's so I may not be the best to judge but it was really impressive and a great way to pamper yourself/significant other.
Their website is below, hope that helps.
