Lip liner?
I'm 16 and I have pretty big lips but I want to accentuate them. Do you think I'll look like I'm trying to be to old wearing lip liner? And are there certain shades that are less visible as opposed to an obvious shade? Because I think that would look to old for someone my age...Also, do you have to be wearing lipstick to wear lipliner? Thanks.
I don't think you're too old to be wearing lip liner.
Pick out a shade of lip liner that is closest to your natural lip color, or a lipstick/lip gloss you use. You don't have to wear lipstick to wear lip liner, as long as it's not obvious. You might want to smoothen the lines out with a finger after you apply.

A lip liner does just that: lines the lip.
A lip crayon is used to fill in the lip almost like a base (or can be used by itself) before applying gloss or lipstick.

How can you keep red lipstick from bleeding besides using lip liner?
I use my compact press it on then put my lip liner and then lipstick but sometimes i put gloss over and that is when it bleeds or even sometimes just on its own it bleeds any help?
Start with the lipsticks texture. I strongly recommend trying a matte red lipstick and applying it with a lip brush. M.A.C. Cosmetics carry a color titled, "M.A.C. Red" that is super hot, and they also have Viva Glam 1, which is a great buy not only for the color, but 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this lipstick goes to the M.A.C AIDS Fund.
Matte lipstick is virtually impossible to bleed out and it also will keep it's color longer on your lips. I would also not use lip gloss, especially anything sticky. If a glossy look is what you are going for, try a super emollient chap-stick, such as Burt's Bee's.

i think it looks good on some women, if it isnt too dark. but is lip liner meant to make lips look smaller or bigger?
It also, if used correctly, can make your lips look fuller, more shapely..etc... I stomtimes use a darker shad of red for the liner than my lipstick or my lips(not like black) but a darker shade gives your lips dimension. When you used the same exact color as your lips or lipstick its great but doesnt create much of an effect.
So it all depends on what you are looking for...either way any time i have lipsick on I use lip liner.
1.) Defines the lip. You can actually use liner to either exaggerate or minimize your lips- the trick is in both how close to the edge of your mouth you line, and also with what color. Too dark pretty much always looks bad- unless it is covered with a great-staying lip color that complements it (or if you like the extreme look).
2.)Keeps lip color from spreading. It even works to keep gloss in place- and in fact when you wear lip liner, you're much less likely to lick your lips or rub them together (since you're aware of impending smear doom if you do), so gloss will stay shinier and unlicked for longer than five minutes*

Yesterday when I went out shopping I couldn't believe the amount of people wearing lip liner.
LOL!!! all these answers made me laugh, I wear lip liner to make my lips look bigger but I also wear gloss and blend it in, I usually let the lipliner show a little though. I think its a bit ol' school but I do wear it like that. I don't think its "back" :-D

You can always try putting foundation and powder on your lips first then put on the lip liner and then the gloss. Oil based may last longer also.
Can I use eyeliner or eyebrow liner as an lip liner?
I can't seem to find the right nude lip liners. Most of the lip liners I had bought seem to appear peachy or pink(when it gets warm). I wonder if it would be safe to use a eyeliner or eyebrow liner as a lip liner? Are they made with the same ingredient and if you digest or lick your lip too much would it be not safe for your health?

I'm not too sure, but I don't think you should. Go to Sephora and there are many different shades and colours of lip liners, eyeliners, etc.
