If the website of my local spa says that they do body waxing does that mean brazillian too?

Should I do something before I go for it?

you need to call and ask specifically if they do brazillian. i used to work in a spa and out of 50 estheticians we only had one who was comfortable to do them so you need to check first before you go in expecting to get one. shower first. that's it. shower lots. haha. and if the spa has a shower in their change room hop in for a minute before hand just to freshen up a bit. just a common courtesy.

They probable do, but just to make sure I would ask when you set up the appointment.

You really don't have to do anything special besides take a shower. Because trust me, they get up close and personal with EVERYTHING down there and back there too.

You might want to take a couple of Advil before you go. Ibuprophren will help to lessen the pain and help with the swelling.

After it is done, it is a wonderful thing.

Does proactiv act counter-proactive to local spa facial?

since proactiv is benzoyl peroxide based and is supposed to dry face out to prevent acne on acne-prone skin, yet spa facial is supposed to make your face soft and smooth. Can you have both at the same time?

my sister got proactive and it didn't work

I own a website that advertises local hairsalons, spa, gyms etc.?

How can i make more local salons, spa's, nail artists to get advertised in my site?it costs only 70dollars/year.

Get testamonials from current advertising salons and that will help promote your site. Also, maybe you can have a montly promotional section in the website to promote a certain business like a "Spotlight" type of thing.

send them brochures

Send them flyer with info showing how your website can benefit them.

Try Link exchange, and call up the salons in your area. I don't like talking on the phone to businesses, but they generally are curtious, and all you can do is ask.
I sell gifts and home decor at dicounted prices, also beauty products. Visit us and see if we can help!

What is the best form of spa treatment used to reduce age spots?

I'm trying to find a spa treatment for my mother. She is very self conscious about an age spot above her eyebrow and wants to attempt to fade it with a spa treatment and is confused as to which one to use. I have researched the local spa in the major town near us and have found no treatment to fade age spots. Any suggestions?

Natural aging and exposure to sunlight can cause the appearance of age spots. The more frequent noticeable signs of aging consist of darkened spots and age spots. Skin innovation treatments can help repair the skin to a more youthful look. A variety of treatment options are available at a spa center. One treatment or a mixture can be used to help to get the look that patients wish. A spa center can revitalize your skin. They use dermal fillers to add volume and improve the skin. Using the most recent technology they can remove age spots and encouraging collagen stimulation so that your skin can look as young as you want to. On www.agespots.net you can find all the information that you need about age spots.

What is your favorite part of going to a day spa?

I am considering opening a day spa. What is your favorite part of going to a day spa? What things would you like to see at your local spa? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I really enjoy the couples massage with two masseuses. I gave one to my mom for Christmas. We were able to go into a room together, and chat while we were still nervous. As we relaxed, we were able to quit talking, but it was nice knowing that we were in there together. I loved the aroma therapy and hot oils. My mom is real shy and had never had a massage before. She loved it dearly and goes back now on her own. But, it is a great way for two people to spend a day together.

the massage part where i can go to sleep

the massage. or jacuzzi.

Massage and then steam room

Its daiye spa! Earth to Matilda!

If I went to a fair and there was a booth that was run by a local spa and they were promoting themselves by

having massage therapists do demonstrations and I got badly injured by the massage therapist, who is responsible and to be held libel for the injury and costs involved? By the way, the massage therapist quit working at the spa soon after this incident.I went to the spa and they just brushed me off. I am in pain and want to know what my rights are here so that I can deal with it from an informed position. Thank You

You must get yourself a lawyer.
You could sue either the company or the employee but both can be problematic.
The employee probably has no assets worth talking about, but a company will do their best to put the blame on the employee and try to say they are not liable (as you've seen).
You will need confirmation from a doctor, preferably from soon after the incident. If you didn't see a doctor soon after, you will have virtually no chance of winning.

The fair only has to make sure that the spa has a proper license to run their business, etc. SO, having said that, the individual who performed the massage that allegedly injured you and the business that employed them would be the ones to go after. The spa must make sure that their employees are properly trained and licenses upon hiring them, which can ultimately make them liable for alleged injuries as a result.

The massage therapist, the spa, the fair's organizers, and/or the owner of the land where the fair took place may all be liable. It depends upon the laws of the jurisdiction where the fair took place. Consult a local personal injury attorney. You can find one at the link below.

How much should you tip for a haircut at a spa?

I am having my hair cut tomorrow at a local spa. This will be my first having my hair cut at a place like this. My haircut will cost around $36.00. How much should I tip, and how is tipping usually handled at places like that?

Depends on how much the hair cut cost. 10-15% sounds about right.

i always tip about 10 bucks but if the services are over 100 then like 20 bucks

10%

They are usually around $10 but it depends because if she or he did a really good job give him or her $15. If it was good give him or her $10. If it wasn't good or as you call it O.K. give him or her $5. Hope I could help! =]

I have arranged a girls' trip to a local day spa. I would like to give everyone a gift . . .?

I'm looking for something inexpensive (I need 20) that is still cute. I thought maybe embriodered tote bags. I'm not looking for spa stuff (i.e. lotions) becuase we'll get all that at the spa. Any ideas ???
Ages are 21 - 60, every size too

I think a tote would be the perfect spa day gift.I found some on llbean.com.You can have thier intials put on it they run about $15.00 for the small ones which would be perfect to put everything from the spa in.Have fun!!!! P.S. can I come too? I have never been to a spa.LOL....Again have fun and good luck!!!
