The day begins on Saturday at 10 a.m. at The Studio Maui for Karin Kuhn’s Gentle Flow yoga class. Gentle flow is perfect for beginners through more advanced practitioners. Karin guides students to follow their breath as they move through poses slowly and deeply. This practice releases deep held patterns of physical and emotional tension. For added relaxation, Karin adds soothing music to create an atmosphere that is deeply relaxing and nourishing.
The Cost: $15
After yoga, it’s time for a snack. Head over to the Tribe bus at the front of the Haiku town center parking lot. Don’t let the junkyard vibe scare you away. Can anyone suggest a luxury or exclusive day spa in Atlanta?
I am taking a trip to pamper myself and do a little reflecting. Overnight spas would be great too! I want to feel like a star!
Spa Sydell - they have multiple locations in the Atlanta area.

Atlanta, GA 30309

This one was rated really good!
I've also heard great things about Spa Sydell:

There are tons of massage schools where you can get an hour massage for like $30!!!
what is the best luxury day spa in auckland?
Spa de Seville is awesome, or for a super special treat, make your way just out of Auckland to Spa Du Vin.
Given the "recession," has your definition changed for what's a luxury?
With everyone tightening their wallets and gas/food prices soaring, are you finding things that once weren't a luxury suddenly are? Is a latte is a luxury to you now? Or do you still consider expensive items like a new watch, video game, day at the spa - luxuries despite your family having less discretionary income now?
Anything not a necessity is a luxury now.
Cable tv and internet is one of my only luxuries. I allow myself a sundae or a new pair of 10 dollar shoes once in a while, when I'm really going wild.
The economy is so crappy right now.
At this time I can't think of luxury. I need to go buy another blanket.
I think we're learning as a society we were a bunch of little brats and we always got what we wanted here in the west. This recession is coming about mainly by our dependency on credit, and the reason we keep borrowing - especially from countries like China is because we never produce anything, just seem to consume and can't help it. Now a correction is taking place which will be long and slow, as we will only be wllowed the same things as everyone else is around the world.
Best luxury Spa/Hotel near London?
I am looking for recommendations for a 1 day/1 night high-end spa/hotel getaway relatively close from London.
Ideally, located in the countryside, but not too far from the city (1-2h by train maximum) with great food and plush beds for an overnight stay.
If you have been to one of these recently that blew you away, I want to hear from you!
In my opinion, the best spa in the South, close to London is at the Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa in Bagshot. It is near Windsor and 45 minute drive from central London.
http://www.exclusivehotels.co.uk/home.asp?hotel=pennyhillpark&Lang=EN
They have indoor and outdoor pools with a thermal heaven suite of saunas, steam rooms, ice rooms, and a tempadarium. They have male, female, and mixed facilites. The also have 2 excellent restaurants and a bar that serves an amazing afternoon tea.
Make sure you request a room in the main building as this is where the best rooms are. Most are different and many have unique features like four poster beds or a bathroom up a small wooden staircase.
The hotel is the offical training ground for the England Rugby team and its also the type of place that you will see Footballers WAGs.
A little further away in Hampshire is the Four Seasons. http://www.fourseasons.com/hampshire/ About 1-1.5 hours from London, this hotel is relatively new but the spa is fantastic (not quite as good as the pennyhill) and the Sunday Lunch Buffet is not to be missed (expect to pay £100 per couple for the lunch)

And there are hotels quiet close to central london.

What is best place for a luxury swim?
Looking for somewhere in Brum to have a swim but somewhere really luxurious - ie not a council leisure centre. Do hotels such as Radison or Hotel du Vin allow people to buy access to their swim or day spa facilities? Is Banatynes gym in the city centre a bit posh?
In short, if you were a celeb in Brum, where would you swim??
i would google it and find the best place to swim,
Can anyone suggest a 5 star spa resort in a warm climate some where in the U.S.?
Trying to get away to clear my mind for a few days. I need excellent food, excellent spa treatments, and luxury/ 5 star accommodations. I don't mind paying for a great place to relax. I live in the Northeast so I would prefer to go some where warm but stay in the states. Any suggestions?
Consider “The Boulders”. Not far from Scottsdale, AZ. Has everything your seeking---and much more. Highly recommend it.
Here is a good link.
Which of these is the most luxurious and indulgent beauty treatment?
I am getting married in two months' time and I am surprising my two sisters (bridesmaids) and mum to a day at a luxury spa a week before the wedding. The thing is though, there are two treatment days I like the sound of. Both include facials but one has a back, neck and shoulder massage, while the other has a marine detox wrap. Which should I go for? Also, with the wrap, are we likely to be all spotty by the wedding day as it is supposed to remove impurities and toxins? Help me out here!
i would go for the massage I'm sure you have been a little stressed during the wedding plans this will ease those tense muscles and relax the body and mind
A wrap is great for removing toxins but i'd have it around 2 weeks before the date to ensure no spots and blemishes!
A pampering day a great idea though and I wish you all the best xxx

Its probably worthwhile asking the spa about your specific questions about spots from body wraps.
I think massages will be the safe bet, but body wraps are more adventurous and memorable!
Help me find my luxury Caribbean 7-10 day cruise!?
Looking for luxury cruise (such as Princess, Celebrity, Crystal, Oceania). What's important: high end food, dessert, & beverages 24/7, optional butler service, highly skilled massage therapy, spa services, & steamroom, Eastern or Western caribbean, extremely nice ports & destinations, suite with ocean view balcony, educational activities, all-inclusive, movie room, great excursions, travel for 2009. Ships & Itineraries and your personal experience would be extremely helpful. Thank you!
If by "all-inclusive" you mean including all drinks [alcohol, wine, etc], then you'll need to go with the truly luxury lines, such as Seaborn, Crystal, etc.
Go to VacationsToGo.com and do a search for available cruises. Find the most-expensive ones and those will be your "luxury" cruises [comparing the same length of cruise, of course]. You can then go to the websites of those lines and get more info.
To get great info from experienced cruisers, go to CruiseCritic.com. Click on "Reviews" and read both the pro's comments and the "Member Reviews". Click on "Cruise Styles" and you can get a good general overview of the ships that fit different "life-styles". Click on "Boards" and you'll find many, many topics having to do with all aspects of cruising.
Hope you find exactly what you're looking for.
Mobile Spa-ideas for growth in this bad economy?
I own a mobile spa. I haven't made much profit since its start earlier this year. I know it takes a long time for a business to grow but, with the economy the way it is I was thinking of another way to go about it. Like perhaps marketing it as an event planning company and branching out a bit. I love what I do but let's face it, lack of profit is VERY discouraging even for something you love. Mobile spa prices are higher than day spas because we come to you and I just don't think people are trying to spend the extra money to have this luxury.
What are some other ways I can try to make a decent profit in this down-trodden economy? Ways I can better advertise to potential clients about what I offer, which is professional spa services on-location.
Hi, I am working with a mobile spa services lady right now in Arizona. She is not a massage therapist and she is not an aesthetician. But still provides spa services as a consultant with products that does not require alot of hands on which is what it sounds like you do.
What she does is provide a variety of spa services that equal $125.00 value. She supplies gift certificates to this effect. She then finds organizations that need a fund raiser. They go out get donations of $20.00 for their organization and the people as a thank you gift receive a gift certificate. Information is taken as to who has received a gift certificate, name, address, phone, email. This is given to her so she can follow up with those who received the certificates and book those people. Also the certificate is good for up to 8 people so if the person who received the certificate can share their spa experience with 7 other people in their home.
She does the booking and sells her products. Then she has all those leads to go back to for follow-up.
She has worked with Boy Scouts, Drama Boosters, any high school, junior high, or even elementary groups. The sky is the limit with this one.

Birthday gift for mom? Spa, massage? Or Stay in super nice hotel?
OK every time my sister and I buy our mom a present, she never likes it. We buy her clothing, flowers, jewelry all of that mom stuff. But noooo, she never likes. So I'm thinking since she's been stressed lately, my sister and I could go half and half on either a say in a really nice sophisticated hotel for a night or two and order room service and lavish in the luxuries of the hotel OR we could get her a gift certificate to a day spa where she can get a massage and facial and all that good stuff. Which would you go for? I cant decide. Or do you have a better idea? Please help. I'd rather not buy her anything. Thanks!
When I say i'd rather not buy her anything, I mean as far as materialistics.
SPA!!!!!
