DEAR ANT: I’m engaged and my wedding is supposed to be in three weeks. I say, “supposed to be” because my fiancé is threatening to call the whole thing off. He thinks I’m being unreasonable with a request I have for the best man (I’ll call him Jim). The problem is Jim has long hair (down to his shoulders) and facial hair, which makes him look like a slob most of the time.
Jim told my fiancé he’s planning to pull his hair back into a neat ponytail and trim his beard for the wedding, but I think he should get a proper haircut and shave. I also think my fiancé should be the one to tell him to do it, but he refuses and says I’m being a control freak.
It’s my day and I want it to be perfect. We’ve hired a professional photographer and I don’t want sloppy Jim to ruin the photos. I don’t think this request is unreasonable, but my fiancé thinks I’m acting like a dictator. I told him that I’m no different from any

If a man shaves his chest should he shave everywhere?
I mean does hairy legs not look weird on a man with a shaven hairless chest or does that look okay?
your mother in laws bedroom - the local supermarket ???
Also it's very acceptable to shave under arms.
Leaving the legs hairy is very OK though.
I have an issue with my butt - do I shave either side of the crack? It's really awkward to do this but it stops fluff getting stuck. I don't tend to shave my butt though - I did it once or twice in my life but I don't fancy going for a back sack and crack at the beauticians. I'll be asking this question now on Yahoo Answers.
Is it unusual for a man to shave his legs for a sport?
I'm out for basketball and I have really bad leg hair, and I was planning on clipping them and then shaving them. Would it be unusual or is it common for a man to shave his legs for a sport other than swimming?
it is more common than most people think. i know at least 2 guys on my basketball team shaved their legs. i shave my armpits for most sports to help with sweating. i shaved my legs for swimming and cycling.
do what you want.
How does a man shave his pubic hair?
I need help please, lately I have hair down there which I find nasty, but I don't know how to shave down there. I live with a single mother so it would be embarrassing to ask her. Can someone please tell me how to do it without cutting yourself? Thanks
Linda FTW- stfu, troll.
burn them ,
apply shaving cream
let rest for a while now shave off hair
after shaving apply neat oil of lavender
aloe vera gel
I would shave in the shower, just because all the hair will go down the drain. Shave in the same direction your hair grows, also the first time you shave you might be a bit itchy for a little while, but that should go away soon.
Sorry.
Anyways:
Apply shaving cream. Let sit for 2 mins. Shave as usual but no as-er-close to the surface. Rinse off. Apply polysporne to any cuts.
Email me if you need anything else-If ANYBODY needs anyhing else.

Should a man shave his body and genitals?
If I do not shave my body and genitals, I get an amazon jungle.
Should I trim it neatly or should I completely shave it all?
comment to brianna 'top contributer'
she's ridiculous,!!!
EVERY WOMAN/ TO EVERY MAN,
TO EACH THEIR OWN PREFERENCE!!!
and with her comment about 'real women'.
she's stupid.!!
when you go online and see men modeling on magazines or websites, to where they are showing their chest, do those men have hair all over their chests??
NO, i dont think so!!
they are all hairless, just because thats more sexy, IN MY OPINION!!
and also in the opinion to those that market sex.
they dont advertise men who are hairy, its gross.
okay, but as i said, different women, different preferences,.
personally, my man has no hair on his chest, actually he isnt a very hairy person. and i think its sexy!
He does of course have hair down there, and he trims.
ive never been with anyone who completely shaved, though, i cant say it would be that big a deal, i like less hair, its more clean to me.
edit:
and to all those with the remark it itches when it grows back,
they are RIGHT!
it does itch, but if you do it routinely, it doesnt after all,
when i first began shaving completely it itched,, now as im older, i cant stand to have hair down there, it actually bothers me, so i shave completely, actually i use nair. but whatever, as long as the hair is gone.
idc.
just at the very least, TRIM, keep it clean , if its nasty, wild, thats unattractive, makes you look messy and that you dont keep up your hygiene.
but in the end, it all depends on what YOUR comfortable with.
a dude more groomed than a woman is weird man.
same thing....
EDIT: trimming your pubes however, very slightly does make your johnson look bigger.
If i dated a man who took his shirt off and had a nice smooth chest, i'd probably look elsewhere really fast. If i saw that he shaved below, i'd probably think far less of him and run. If you keep shaving it will continue to get thicker.
Trimming may be easier - time and management wise.
Completely - it lasts longer, but is time consuming, can get itchy when the hair grows back.
Is it okay for a medium/fat size man to shave or wax his chest and back hair?
I now like men with 6 packs wax or shave there back and chest hair but is it okay for a man who is quite fat to shave or wax his back and chest hair?
Im crossing my fingers for now though.
Like the other answerer said, there are no rules about hair removal. If you want to get waxed, just do it but go to a salon - much less painful than trying it yourself and more effective too.
Oh by the way, the amount of hair you have on your body and the amount you choose or do not choose to remove has no connection with your gender identification or sexual orientation.
Is it gay for a man to shave off all his body hair?
Is it gay for a man to shave off all his body hair?
No. Its just a preference. Some men like body hair, others don't.
Why is that female should shave armpit and not man, when did this come to be?
Is it wrong if girl does not shave or a man does shave?
No it is not wrong. That hair is there for a reason. It is part of our bodies cooling system. Shaving was for harlots way back in the mists of time. Then in the 1940's some MAN decided that it was a good way to boost sales of shavers and creams and ointments to target women and make them self conscience about themselves. They were told they would be much more desirable to men if they had smooth legs, and not so much with hairy legs and armpits. It was all about advertising and sales. It is really disgusting what was done to women for the sake of a few bucks.
P.S. I have not shaved any part of my body for the past 15 years. I have had a number of offers from men during that time, but I had to turn them down because I am already married. And no I don't have shrubs under my arms, just a light patch of hair. It stops growing when it reaches its max length. Just like other parts. Hair on your head continues to grow because it is programed to, so to speak.
but it's really up to you.
Hairy arm pits on women...look....like you've been living in the jungle for far too long.
I guess it's a standard because women should look "polished".
It's certainly not necessary, but I think that if you let those shrubs under your arms grow out, it would diminish your chances in the dating scene. Not to mention that at the rate you're going, after a week it's gonna look like you have Don King in a headlock.
If a man shaves his pits... well... he'd probably save on deodorant but I don't think women have yet formed an opinion on whether or not this is a good thing for a fellow to do. Still not "wrong," but hey. Also, in evidence against it, swimmers generally shave the ol' pits, and I think those people are all hepped up on goofballs.
It is not wrong to not shave, just realize that some people may make fun of you for it.
Do you Ladies prefer a seriously Balding Man to Completely Shave it all off, or do a comb over?

How does a man shave down there without getting cut up?
How do you deal with shaving when the tempurature is low and there is a tightness due to shrinkage?
Sorry this thing wont let me choose best answer.
use a Mach 3 razor cartridge with a lubricating strip. Use shaving gel or oil. Your sack needs to be tight, otherwise you risk cutting yourself and you'll bleed like a pig. After, wash the surplus gel off, and rub some antiseptic cream on your sack. Once you start to do this, you are committed to shaving every three days or so, or feeling that you are wearing tweed underwear. But a smooth sack is eminently gropable and kissable, so it's worth it.
Do you think its abnormal or wrong for a man to shave his private area smooth?
Do you think its strange to see a man with a totally smooth private area? Do you think its cool? What would you say if your date did not tell you he was shaven down there or you seen a man with a shaven smooth private area in a dressing room or party?
I wouldn't see it wrong or right. If guys always want a girl to do it...why can't the guy too?
