So, companies that sell products promising to help guys lose weight, conceal bloat and enhance skin have to walk a fine line between men's vanity and masculinity. But how do you market moisturizer to the Marlboro Man?
Dove plays the theme song to the 1930s TV western "The Lone Ranger" and compares guys' skin with cowhide in commercials for its men's shower gel. Weight Watchers uses TV spots with trimmed-down singer Jennifer Hudson to market to women, but opts for average Joes talking about drinking beer and grilling meat in ads for its weight loss program for men. Dr Pepper is more overt in ads for its diet soda targeted toward men with the tagline: "It's not for women."
The ads come as guys of all ages are succumbing to growing pressure to suck in their guts and hide their blemishes. In one of the biggest signs that men are more image-conscious, the number of chemical peels, laser hair removal and other cosmetic procedures on men is up 45 percent since 2000, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

What is a good moisurizer to use on my face? After I wash my face parts of it get dried out and I need a good moisturizer to use to replenish it.
I like neutrogena products. They are oil-free, non-comedogenic, light-weight, absorb quickly and have something for every skin type and need. Using a toner after cleansing and before moisturizing will also help the moisturizer to work better.

Can you mix moisturizer with spf of 30 with a regular moisturizer?
I was planning on buying a moisturizer with an spf of 30 in it. But I read alot of reviews that said it was good except it left a white film on their faces. So I was thinking of mixing it with my regular moisturizer hopefully so there wouldn't be a white film on my face. If you guys are confused, I just want a great moisturizer with a really good spf. But will keep my face moisturized without a white film.
My questions are: What is a really good moisturizer with really good spf?
If I decide to buy two seperate moisturizers. One regular and one with spf of 30 can I mix them both?
Or should I apply one first before the other?

I don't see why you couldn't mix them, but to be on the safe side, try it with small amounts first, rather than committing whole bottles, tubes, or jars of either. Measure out maybe a teaspoon of each, mix thoroughly in a bathroom cup, and apply, the see how it goes.

I dont think you need to shell out heaps of buck to get decent stuff. As long as it doesnt cause your skin to react badly.... One of the problems with a 30+ is that is will almost always leave your face with the white sheen.
I use a Jurlique facial 30+ and it hardly has any white residue and is probably one of the more natural products available!
The regular moisturizer I use has vitamin A and retinol. I do not mix the two, just one at a time.
if it's leaving a film on your skin, you should try a different brand.
Estee Lauder has a great spf 30 sun protection lotion. I love it! it's $18.00 but it last forever.

I want to know if there is a safe moisturizer for your face that wont do more damage and is natural? I have read that vaseline works great but I heard people say they would never use a waste product on their face, it could potenially cause problems.

If you have different skin like oily or dry, you need a special moisturiser. i have regular skin that dries out sometimes, so I use Johnson&Johnson 24hourmoisture. It's not just for babies! - it's light and gets absorbed easily, and feels great on my face!
If you live in a sunny area, you could think about getting a combo sunscreen and moisturiser. Sunscreen is necessary even if you don't burn, because sun exposure causes spots and sagging when you grow older.
They are more natural and make your skin feel soft:)

I have relatively dry skin after I was my face even with a very mild face wash. It has a tendency to flake and feel tight if I don't use moisturizer. i use clean n clear the greeen moustriser [i spelled that way wrong] but it works great i use the clean n clear morning burts its the same thing just a cleanser and its green to . its doesnt leave your face oily at all..

What is the best most light moisturizer for my face?
That won't clog my pores. I have combination skin and i want a moisturizer that will moisture my skin without feeling thick and icky. And that won't cause me to break out. And that doesn't have any of that acid stuff in it. Is there any moisturizers out there like that, that doesn't cost a fortune?

Cetaphil is great. I don't use it as an under make up moisturizer. I use it as a cleanser and make up remover because its very mild and not greasy at all. Other than that I would suggest you stop into sephora or browse their website they have great explanations. Oprah swears by hope in a jar. Clinque and other cosmetic companies have vast lines of skin routines for every skin type.

well toner id use witch hazel and mositurizer i use baby lotion =] by johnson and johnsons its ment for babies so its realllyyy gentil and really moisturizing when ever i have really dry skin (winter) i use that and it works so my skin is like sooo softt and btw be careful with st itves i know that at least the apricot scrub is TERRIBLE!! for your skin my skin consultant a while ago said that when its magnatized it actually has sharp edgdes that cut up your skin causing like really rough, dry, flaky skin so i wouldnt use that but idk boutt there other produccts =]

The skin on my face is peeling so horribly right now due to the recent cold weather we've been having. My day moisturizer for the daytime is Olay Complete for sensitive skin, but I need something a little more intensive for night so my skin can recover from this icky peeling. I tried Olay, and it doesn't really moisterize that well. Eucerin is very moisturizing and good for sensitive skin. So is cetaphil :D
Oh, and it also works when you're all flaky. Lol.

What's the difference between moisturizer and tinted moisturizer?
Can you use tinted moisturizer twice daily along with cleansing and toning?
Moisturizer has no colour pigmentation for make up and generally has more "good for your skin" properties. Tinted moisturizer is a way to wear make up easily, and quickly while incorporating it into your daily routine. However I would never replace my moisturizer with tinted moisturizer, and i rarely use tinted moisturizer, unless i'm in a serious rush, i have it in my car.
Although I see no problem in applying it twice a day, you will get double the coverage and i think it would really be easier to apply your moisturizer and make up separetly if you're doing it twice anyways.
A simple routine: wash, tone, moisturize, primer, foundation, and set it with a mineral powder set (Bare Escentuals has a great foundation setter can be found at Sephora). this way your skin gets all the benefits of a proper moisturizer, and you don't have to apply your make up twice!
