10 children to get permanent families during adoption ceremony FOX19

Ten children will join seven permanent families Friday in a mass adoption ceremony scheduled to celebrate National Adoption Month in Hamilton County.

The full ceremony, scheduled for 9 a.m. in Judge James Cissell's Hamilton County Probate Court, will be live-streamed over the Internet at www.hcjfs.org .

The county's Job and Family Services Department is teaming with the county's Probate Court to organize the mass ceremony. The children, all victims of abuse and neglect, will join new families in a touching ceremony and celebrate afterwards with their caseworkers, court-appointed advocates, extended families, and other people special to their lives.

While adoption finalizations are normally confidential, the seven families have agreed to publicize the ceremony.

"This is always one of the highlights of our year and it gives us a chance to celebrate several happy endings," said Moira Weir, director of the Job and Family Services department. "We have a tremendous number of situations that turn out positive for children. These families have agreed to share their stories with us in an emotional, touching ceremony that will be an uplifting moment for our staff and for the people of this community."

David Cook - Permanent - Lyrics

a very sad and good song by david cook it is about his brother adam who has brain cancer ...

Permanent?

I want to get a permanent, but I don't know how they do it! Can you please explain it to me?

They roll your hair on perm rods,(the size of the rod depends on the size of the curl you want) then they squirt a chemical solution on your hair. Depending on what kind of perm the stylist gives you, you will have to wait in the chair or be placed under a drier for the perm to process. The chemical changes the structure of your hair follicle and makes it take the shape of the rod. Your hair is then rinsed and a solution called a neutralizer is put on your hair. This doesn't take very long, you leave it on around 10 minutes. It stops the processing from the first solution. Your hair is then rinsed again and the perm rods removed, often the stylist will now condition your hair and trim the ends if needed. I hope this is the information you needed. Good luck.

You really can't do it by yourself. It takes putting all your hair into plastic rollers with end wraps so that them stay smooth. Then applying the solution and waiting for the curls to develop. Then yo have to rinse out the solution then remove the rollers. It's a somewhat tedious task but if you want curly hair that it what has to be done.

they put a strong mix on your hair like a hair colour, than curl your hair on special curlers and you have to sit for some time, till it's developed. But it's very bad for you.Don't torture your hair.I'm sure the hair you were born with is the best for you. It's beautiful and unique,it just has to be healthy and clean.Go buy some vitamins and strong hair repairing cream, trim your hair regularly, to avoid split ends. The long term caring for your hair is more difficult, but more rewarding.try it first

lots of tiny curling rods and then they put stinky potion on let it sit and then waaalaaaa...curly,stinky hair...cant wash right away have to put up with smell for a while.be careful, ive had my hair burnt and then your hair needs to get it cut out very sad...tramatic

yes and the process is called striping. you can do it yourself if you want. The salon will use a chemical that "strips" the dye out of your hair.

They make a product called Oops or something like that-have a couple other products at Walgreens too. But your hair will not look the exact same as your original no matter what.

Can you use permanent tattoo ink to draw a temporary tattoo? How long will it last?

Can I use permanent tattoo ink with a airbrush or temporary tattoo pen? Will permanent ink last longer than the temporary ink?

I know that unless I use proper machine, it won't be permanent.

temp or permanent ink on the exterior of skin will come off...
Yes...duration depends on location, hey, its temporary.

What you need to look into is some henna ink. Henna ink (depending on your skin type) can last a very long time.

forever the scar will mark...be careful if you are a kelloid former...

Regular tattoo ink is just ink. It will stain the skin like paint or pomegranate juice. But it would be gone in a couple of weeks.

A tattoo is only permanent because it is injected under the surface of the skin, it has nothing to do with the actual ink used. In theory you can tattoo yourself with any ink (as long as it hasn't got any lead in it). So the answer is unless the ink goes under the skin then it won't be permanent.

I would not do that if I were you and hoped to just wash it off.

Ink is Ink. If you apply it with a fine high pressure spray over your "porous" skin, anywhere on your body, you may very well achieve a "Shadow Outline Stain" ... and ... think where you put it BEFORE the fact !

A word to the wise ... stay beautiful and "Stain-Free" Toots!

To get something that will last 10 days or so, henna is the only safe natural dye that will work.
It binds with the keratin in the skin and dyes the skin several layers deep.
As your skin exfoliates, the dye fades away.
Be sure to use 100% safe and natural henna, please use nothing black since it is dangerous and cause lifelong health issues.
Tattoo ink on the skin won't do anything , my daughter is a tattoo artist.

How do I take semi permanent dye out while leaving permanent layer underneath intact?

I have naturally dark hair and a while ago, I dyed it a wonderful permanent blonde. Yesterday, over the blonde, I dyed it purple. The color is horrendous. I want to remove the purple (semi-permanent but over the blonde) but I don't know if it would be possible to get the blonde permanent back. I've heard that semi perm colors don't penetrate the hair but I really don't want to have to re-dye and start everything from the beginning.
If you can answer my question, then I thank you FOREVER!

Clairol makes a product called, "Uncolor". It will remove most of the semi-permanent color. I have used it once or twice to remove a rinse that was too dark.

Purple is my favorite color, but if you don't like it...fine! :(

How do you get permanent marker off painted metal?

Trying to resell a bringtly painted kids bunkbed but they wrote all over it in permanent marker. We've tried all kinds of cleaners with no luck.

hair spray

Have you tried : Goof Off? ($4/can Home Depot)

also try nail polish remover or similar solvent w/acetone.

Make sure to open windows in either case as both give off very strong, toxic fumes.

try some lemon extract, lightly wet a paper towell and rub it right off.

No, on the nail polish remover, it will remove the paint...

Goof off will remove the paint if it's latex, try rubbing alcohol.

If you could remove the marker it wouldn't be permanent. I would suggest that you prime it and repaint it. Use a good primer/sealer that won't allow the marker to bleed back through.

How long does it takes to remove conditional permanent residence after file? Does it require interview?

I have filed to remove conditional permanent residence 3 months ago, we just did finger print and waiting to hear back from USCIS. But we are planning to move to different city in about 4 months. I was wondering what will be the process from now. How long does it take to get permanent residence status? Also, after she gets permanent residence status, does she have to wait for 3 years before apply for citizenship? Or can she apply after 1 year, since she has received conditional permanent residence status 2 years ago?

The USCIS website explains all this and the letter/s telling you about when to come in etc also explain it and tell you to visit the website, just as you can look up the estimated time for processing on your applications online on the USCIS website.

What does a permanent resident alien need to travel to Mexico?

My fiancé and I are getting married in Mexico. Her best friend is not a US citizen, but is a permanent resident alien. She does not have a passport from her home country. It has long expired from Russia, and she cannot get a new one. All she has is a valid driver’s license and her permanent resident alien card. What else will she need?

Must have valid passport and green card. Otherwise, she has change to be denied to enter both Mexico and US.
She can get Russian passport at Russian Consulates in US.

Always take the green card with you.

she maybe denied entry back in USA she does need passport very simple she needs to apply to-the Russian embassy or consulate no different from any other resident alien of different nationality that why there are their country embassy and consulates in the USA story sound little fishy(cant get a new one )

His head examined.

How do you turn an internship to a permanent position?

I recently accepted an internship offer in which after three months, there is a possibilty that it will turn into a permanent position. I am guessing whether I get the full-time permanent position is contingent on my performance and whether there are any positions available after the three months. How do I improve my chances of turning the internship into a permanent job? How do I let my employers know that I want to work with them after the three months are over? Have any of you ever been in my situation? I've already had one internship after college graduation, and I am really hoping this is my last internship I have to do before I get a full-time permanent job.

One good way to position yourself for the prized permanent position is to do the following:
- Perform your current assignments as if you were a permanent employee already.
- Follow the example of the company "winning team"...come in early, leave late, come in during weekend and get the job done in time, on budget
- Excel in understanding your company customer, client base. Anticipate needs and provide suggestions, courses of action to your management team
- Look for challenging assignments and volunteer to work them. This act shows initiative and desire to make your work place a better place.
- Be a good team player...provide your assistance to other employees and help them succeed

These are a few pointers I found in winning individuals. Hope they work for you.

What is the easiest way to remove permanent marker marks?

i've written my name w/ a permanent marker on a TI-84 Plus calcultaor... the permanent was borrowed from ma friend and it was a Japanese brand permanent marker... my name was written two years n i want to erase everything that i've wrote... how do i remove the marks? and what is da easiest way? i've tried using 70% alcohol but it won't come off

The main trouble with your situtation is that solvents which will remove the marker will also likely damage the plastic housing of the calculator.

Goof Off is great for removing marker, as is Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK). Trouble is, they will make you dizzy and will probably leave a melted looking spot behind.

You might want to use a thick black pen to write a block over your name; you can also get silver enamel markers at any craft shop.

You could also buy a case for it (Graphing Calculator Case
Graphing Calculator Case, Item # 21080713 , Style # OM96457, $9.99) and say you're sorry about the marker.

How long does it take for demi permanent hair color to wash out?

I was thinking of using RAW Deep Purple Demi-permanent hair color to dye my hair without having the commitment of permanent hair dye. However, I heard that it stains the hair. If I change my mind and want to go back to my natural hair color, how long will it take to go back or how should I go about to get the natural color back? Also, if you have any suggestions on other purple demi-permanent hair colors that don't stain as badly please tell!

What colour is your hair now? If it's dark, then you will just get subtle purple tones which will gradually wash out over a month or so. If your hair is blonde, then it might last longer, but will still fade to probably a lilac kind of colour.
Semi-permanent dyes only penetrate the hair shaft by a small amount. So they wash out gradually and don't leave visible roots. If you wanted to remove the dye quicker, you could just use another semi permanent dye close to your natural shade, or shampoo your hair with a cheap shampoo which will tend to strip the colour out (use a heavy duty conditioner afterwards if you do that)
