Belleville's public pool may escape latest federal mandate on safety Belleville News Democrat
The agency has not said whether the recirculation system failure could have resulted in illness from crypto. The next hearing in the case is in February. City leaders are trying to get an earlier hearing so they can know whether to incorporate the pool into next year's budget.
Also, the Belleville pool, along with many others across the country, will need to make upgrades to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Debbie Belleville, manager of operations for Belleville's Parks and Recreation Department, said those changes could cost somewhere near $5,000. But city leaders hope to know the results of the state investigation before they spend that money; they don't want to invest in the pool if the state is going to make them close it, anyway.
The pool was built in 1976 and still operates on the original tank and pipe system, and it is needing more repairs every year. An apprentice plumbers' class is reviewing the pool to see what needs to be done before it can open again next year.

Does anyone have any great pool design ideas?
I currently trying to design our pool and have found out a couple of cool design features like the acapulco ledge and umbrella holes. Have you put any cool features in your pool or saw something and thought I wish I had known of that when I was building my pool? PLEASE SHARE!
When we designed our pool, we made sure we had a waterfall, inpool spa and a beach. The grandkids love it because they can sit under the waterfall in shallow water on the beach.
We also have a rock wall in the pool too, lots of sitting ledges, umbrellas etc. Outside we put a gazebo with BBQ, a bar, a shower and toilet area and lots of garden. It's like a resort.

We call them reef steps 18" deep, or step #2, and baja steps, 9" and step #1. Reef is popular since you can sit on a plastic resin chair and be almost all wet.
Best design is one you are happy with but looks like it was custom built for your yard and fits in! If getting an attached spa remember to not put your equipment more than 30' away since you do want your jets to work!
How about an Art Rock Waterfall and slide? Deck jets and volcano jets, heck its only money!

How to design a pool?
I am designing a pool for my design challenge. I have to pump hot water into a pool that is 5 degrees Celsius and make the pool 25 degrees Celsius and if the pool gets to warm I have to pump in cold water to regulate the temperature. Please help. And I cant use batteries and that stuff. And it needs to create a convection current.
How can I pup water into the pool without usng a batterie?
gravity.. Think of it as a pool and spa. make the spa raised higher than the pool. heat the spa persay, and then add it to the pool to the desired temp. just add a valve. water seeks its own level.
Make sure to insulate pipes and tanks to prevent Heat Loss and the water freezing in the pipes causing cracking of the pipes.

By far the most beautiful is white, which when filled with water turns the pool a most sparking blue you've ever seen.

What's an aesthetic design for the exterior of a swimming pool?
recently, I had installed an above ground 12 foot diameter pool. the grass has been killed off around the surrounding area, and I have only had time to put a few potted tropical plants in places.
I wont be doing any major work now with summer almost over, but I want to design over the winter something nice to do for next year. A running deck even to the top of the pool isnt an option. but what about one that is 1 foot off the ground? so that it could be walked on, have pool toys sit there and that way my kids and i dont have to walk in the mud around it?
should it be wood or some other material? wood seems like high maintenance. I guess I could just build a landscaping bed but it might get ruined with too muich water when it splashes out and it drains when i clean it once a month.

one thing you might consider is a cool deck this is a deck that no matter how hot it gets this deck will not burn your feet.they do work i have been on them bare footed. and you can have any color you want owner of pool company for eleven years.

Why not get somebody to show you a design of the sea's coastline, blue water of course and a off white colored coastline, and put the name of your company over it,in yellow wording, in the shape of a really weird shaped pool.
