What is the best portable hot tub/spa that can be plugged into a regular household outlet?
I'm looking for value, quality and easy installation.
Soft tub. They are the most portable and the easiest to set up.
You have to keep it in line with water elements and make sure that the liner is flat when you fill it up. It's just that Soft.
Does anyone know where to get an inflatable portable spa hot tub for less than $500?
All I can find are the Spa-2-Go's at $800+
These seem to fit my needs and look like they will wear well and last.
(Any comments on these would be appreciated)
Big Lots has a no-name brand for $479 right now but they will be gone by the time I have the money.
I need brand names so I can look them up online.
Not sure you are going to find one@
What is the largest portable hot tub or spa available?
The largest hot tub I have seen was at a store near my house. It was called Pool and Spa Mart. I think it would fit 5-6 people.
Are there seats in portable hot tubs/spas?
We were thinking of purchasing one, but noticing some pictures you can tell if there seats. Do any of you know?
The real cheesy ones do not have seats. Which could be fun.

I'm considering purchasing a Spa to go. Basically it's a portable hot tub. Are they any good?
Caldera Spa makes one suitable for most people (except those absolute pickiest). Try the site below:
Spa, Hot Tub not insulated well?
I have a "lower end" spa that sits out on my outside deck. It seems to have very little insulation because during our "harsh" Fall and Winter season down here in Louisiana (lol) the spa just can't seem to hold the temperature long. It always kicks on and cycles to bring the temp back up to wherever I have it set. I use to have a Colman spa and I do not remember the temperature fluctuating like this! I know you get what you pay for, I have a DreamMaker portable 6 person spa. When I empty the water out and tip it up I do not notice a whole lot of insulating materials. I am tempted to go to Home Depot and by that expanding foam and spray that stuff all underneath up along the underside of the tub to give it some insulating properties. I can get way up in there so I could cover a lot of area doing this, I really don't care what the underside looks like as long as my water temp holds better. Also, I do have a standard cover but was thinking about getting a floating blanket also.HELP?
Dream maker is a very poorly insulated spa. You can use a soray foam and we do but make sure your prepared for the diggin out of the foam when the day comes that their glue fails and the plumbing starts to leak in places. I think it is well worth doing and we do it often to a lot of hot tubs. It also makes it harder for snakes to live under your spa. Do leave room around yout pump and spa pack for it to be worked on in the future. Also make sure you hard wire that tub. I have seen a lot of melted GFI cords from that company with the plug in cords. As far as the blanket, that will pretty much be a waste of money.
