Are salon/professional hair care products, facial products and makeup better than over the counter products?

Places like Walmart, Walgreens and grocery stores have a wide array of hair care, facial and makeup products. I wonder if salon/professional products are better quality than these over the counter products and if so, why. Or is there little or no difference between where you buy your products? Are salon/professional products just a scam to make money by claiming their products are higher quality or is there truth to their claim?

There's a difference.Thats why they're used in the salons cuz thats what ur paying for.If they used the same products,they would have to charge less.

I have seen their website but I don't know how to contact their Duelle Professional hair care products on their website. I was wondering when are they going to have a contact number? I am interested in ordering their hair care products. I went on a website that was blackhaircare.net and there wasn't anything on the website that had Duelle Professional hair care products. I have damaged dry hair. I used to use Kerastase from L'Oreal but didn't work good as everyone says. Marc Anthony was okay. How about Oscar Blandi, Frédéric Fekkai, Redken...? Does anyone know good professional haircare products?

my hair stylist uses this product called its a 10 miracle leave in product and i love it but its like 15 dollars for a 4 oz. bottle and for a 10 oz its like 30! so do you know of a store or online website where you can get that and other professional hair products really really cheap? thanks!! (not ebay!)

I'm just wondering what the best salon shampoo/conditioner/styling products are. And which ones work best with making your hair smooth, soft, and shiny!

My sister in law works at a salon, so i've had quite a bit of professional stlye products, my favorite is Alterna enzymetherapy. They make products with hemp in it and I use the straightening balm which works really good and the spray shine works awesome too. They smell SO good too.

Ads tell us that products used in hair salons are better than shampoos & conditioners bought in supermarkets or pharmacies. Is this true & if so why?

They are about the same. The first 5 ingredients in shampoos and conditioners are almost the same in every product. There is nothing wrong with buying Suave or White Rain et al; they will work just as well as the expensive brands.

What you really care about online selling?

Most professional hair care products will be unable to purchase online. These products can only be bought at certain retails stores or through a salon. I know the product I use for my hair can only be bought at select salons and I love it. It's pretty pricey, but it's worth it.

If you find a professional product online for sell I would be skeptical because I would not know if it's the actual product or a fake.
