Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan Plan Romantic Getaway for Valentine's Day Desi Hits!

Love is in the air! One of Bollywood's favorite pair, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan , is fleeing the field for Valentine's Day!

The on-and-off-screen couple has decided to leave Mumbai and all work behind and spend V-Day in Europe instead!

Bebo is planning on shooting a commercial in Paris and then take off to another unknown European desitnation where Saif will join her for a romantic getaway far from all the crazy crowds of B-town!

Sounds romantic to us! And who knows? Maybe Saif will seize the occasion to pop the question?

After all there have been rumors circulating in Bollywood for a while now about an upcoming engagement between the two love birds.

And while either "Kurbaan" actor has confirmed a date yet, Saif has reportedly told reporters that "I’m now looking forward to settling down with Kareena. Our marriage will happen very shortly, as soon as we both have a little less work on hand and we can give the marriage quality time."

romantic getaway?

Me and my boyfriend have been very stressed out lately. We just need to getaway from our everday lives. I want to surprise him with something amazing. We live in Dallas and I want to get a good distance from here. Is there any romantic spot a few hours away possibly a lake or something that would be a good idea to go to. Prefer Dallas. And can provide a link to information for it.
Thanks
-C

Why not rent a houseboat for a romantic getaway?

LakeTravis in Austin or Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma are just far enough away to forget Dallas for a couple of days.

Hotels In The Middle Of Nowhere For A Romantic Getaway In British Columbia?

I'm planning a little "getaway" for my birthday, Does anyone know any spots in British Columbia that are romantic, or just nice.
I'm looking for something unique, but any hotels you have visited that you enjoyed would be valuable input!

tigh-na-mara on vancouver island. i loved it.

All of B.C. is nice. It's just a matter of choosing how small of a place you want to go to, then going. How about somewhere in the Rockies?

Harrison Hot Springs .Go to hellobc for free info

Where can my boyfriend and I go for a romantic getaway in Missouri?

My boyfriend and I will be celebrating our 1-yr anniversary in August. We are trying to find a romantic getaway to take in Missouri (Any place in MO not just STL) Any suggestions?

My husband and I love to take some trips away for "our" time and stay at a lot of bed and breakfasts. My favorites are in Hannibal where there are nice B&Bs, quite a few things to do in town and you can visit all the wonderful miles of art galleries in Clarksville on the way. http://www.visithannibal.com
Another spot that is always nice is St. Geneieve. There are lots of great B&Bs, fun stores in town and a lot of wineries to visit outside of town.
http://www.saintegenevievetourism.org
This past spring we did the Hermann trip and I can proudly say we hit every winery and microbrewery around there. Great choice of B&Bs plus some good music in the evenings at the wineries.
http://www.hermannmo.com
We have done Branson but I didnt find it a very romantic destination. Not a lot of B&Bs but some nice hotels with jacuzzi tubs etc. We did some shows and some shopping and Silver Dollar City but was a little more crowded and busy than I would have preferred for a couples get away. Perhaps it would have been better if we hadn't gone during the summer tourist season.

Branson, mo is known for their shows and lakes.

Branson Missouri is great and I owe timeshare that I can rent there for a great price!!! When are you interested in going and I might be able to help you.

Wow, you have so many options depending on what you two like. Since it is in August it will still be very nice weather so outdoor things will be great.
You two could rent a cabin or bring a tent and camp out by the rivers. Then go on a float trip while you are there. Huzzah Valley Resort just outside of Steelville would be a great place for this kind of weekend.
http://www.huzzahvalley.com/

If you two are 21+, you could spend a weekend in Hermann. It is a beautiful town. You could stay at a bed and breakfast and go to the different wineries for the tours and free wine.
http://www.hermannmo.com/

The Lake of Ozarks would also be fun for many activities.

My husband and I go to Bennett Springs once a year to trout fish. It is a nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
http://www.bennettspringstatepark.com/

Missouri has plenty of great options for State Parks, with a bunch of things to see and do.
http://www.mostateparks.com/

Branson is always busy with things to see and do.
http://www.branson.com/
Silver Dollar City is also something fun to do while your down in the Branson area.
http://www.silverdollarcity.com/
I hope this helps you in deciding on what to do. If you have time, post what you two like to do and I will try to offer more ideas of a romantic getaway. Have fun!!~~~~~~~~

Lake of the Ozarks is beautiful and not as crowded as Branson (you are on a romantic getaway after all). Rent a house on the lake and enjoy your romantic time.

Head up to Alton and do a bed and breakfast. There are some that are on bluffs overlooking river.

Well
You have a lot of very good suggestions. I would suggest you also put BIG Cedar Lodge on your list for consideration.

Close to Branson-Rent one of their cabins? Lots of activities to enjoy.

Here is a link to view

MY suggestion would be to go to the old spegtti factory and after tht go on a nice long carrige ride!!=]=]=]=]

Spend the weekend at a winery! I recommend Les Bourgeois outside of Columbia. Beautiful landscape and you're right next to the river and B&B's.

Also, there are several B&B's in the St. Genevieve area, Steelville, Alton, IL. Or I would look into Tan-Tar-A resort.

Have a great time!

Where is a ROMANTIC Cheap getaway for a college student to take his sweetheart?

Want to take a romantic getaway for say 2 or 4 days.... Share you knowledge please

Depends where you're located! At this time of year, anywhere warm is a good idea, but as I'm from the Northeast, I recommend Niagara Falls. It's INCREDIBLE in the winter, especially when the river freezes. Just make sure you bundle up warm! And don't buy into all the hype that the Canadian side is better. If you take some time to explore, you can find lots of neat things to see on the American side. Park on Goat Island and walk around, there are some spectacular views.

Let me suggest a much overlooked fun, safe, city, Galveston TX. You get beaches, The Strand, shows, rides, horse drawn carriages on 1800's streets, museums, unique restaurants & shopping. There are some great rooms with views of the Gulf, some inexpensive motels plus B&B's. Once a year, of course, a super Mardis-Gras that attracts more people than New Orleans did before Katrina.
If you prefer to be inland, then Fredericksburg TX is very pleasant.
San Antonio is also popular but it does have a lot of the usual chain restaurants etc. We liked the Alamo, were let down by the River-walk.

For winter go to NC MTNS to a ski resort and get a suite or something. or for summer go to the beach in a luxury suite hotel.

Where do I go for a romantic getaway in Silicon Valley?

I'm looking for a hotel for a weekend getaway, something under $200 a night but with a jacuzzi in the unit. One of those romantic getaway packages. Any ideas on a hotel or on what internet site I could FIND a hotel? Thanks.

You know, if you go just a few miles North or West of Silicon Valley you could find areas that are ACTUALLY romantic... which Silicon Valley isn't.

I've used this travel website at www.ytb.com/emcguire and got great deals/prices plus useful info. Have fun and good luck

What is your idea of a romantic getaway?

Something tranquil. i wouldn't want anything big and extravigant just something nice were i could spend it with my significant other and have fun. doing something that i could not do every day. Besides it is the thought that counts so make sure to think.

A night at a hotel with a jacuzzi. Nice dinner somewhere near the hotel. Some champagne in the room.

bed and breakfast,, secluded beach. go on cruise where nobody knows you.

Romantic getaway? My year anniversary is in October. I would like to plan a long weekend getaway for us in FL?

My anniversary is in October. We live in Florida and I would love to plan a 3-4 night long weekend for us to have a romantic getaway. I'm looking for more of a resort or something that is inclusive. I am not looking for suggestions that just state go to clearwater for the weekend or a cruise were doing that in August.

Oh there is a lot that you can do! You should look at staying at the Omni Hotel outside of Orlando. It is very romantic and out in the middle of nowhere really, so it is very peaceful.

Also think about what is romantic to you two. We know nothing about you, and you need to really think about what your partner likes, and use that as a launching point to find activities that you two can together that you both will really enjoy.

Need help planning a romantic weekend hotel getaway?

Hello. I am trying to plan a romantic getaway for a good friend of mine. She wants to treat her boyfriend for a night but she needs some suggestions. Her budget is about about 250 dollars. She wants dinner, hotel stay, breakfast and what not. If you know an cheap ways to be romantic please suggest thanks. By the way she is a college student.

well i know of some hotels that have like "themes" and they are made for romantic getaways one that i have seen" but it was really nice" was 200 a night and had like free b fast and that is still a $50 diner if that's what she wants to do or she can just bring a picnic basket with a bunch of cheap romantic foods " strawberry's, whip cream, choc ho mix..etc and eat there or something. but ya they have some kool stuff

I need some intelligent and creative suggestion for romantic weekend getaway ideas. Can you please help?

I live in Johnson City, Tennessee (the far Northeast corner). I just returned from my honeymoon a few weeks ago, and I want to surprise my new husband with a weekend getaway (approx. 3-4 days) in September or October. I do not want to fly, becasue airline tickets are outrageous...I am running short of ideas. Do you have any suggestions on romantic cities in the Southeast? I am really trying to keep it under $1000.

There are several places I would go if I lived in that area... I'm sure you've already been there... but what about Asheville? Go down after school is out, you can get a cheap hotel on the outskirts of town for under $80 a night and then go to the Biltmore. Your admission price is good for a whole week. Which is great because it takes several days to do the place justice.

With gas so expensive, you don't want to travel too far.

But the best thing... I think... would be go to the Smokey's in October when the fall foliage is at peak, rent a small cabin with a fireplace and a hot tub. You can hike, sighsee, go into Gatlinburg, see the Dixie Stampede or the Mandrel Sisters show. It's wonderfully relaxing and it won't be as crowded as when school is out. But they do a brisk business year round. You make your reservation well in advance.

Wherever you choose to go in Sept/Oct, make reservations now. (May/June)
