Sauna Works Completes VoIP Transition with Virtual PBX TMC Net

In a release, Andy Kaps, Vice President of Sauna Works, said, “As a former executive at a company within in the telecommunications field, I knew we needed a solution that would provide us with ACD queuing features which allowed us to stay connected with users no matter where we are. I was initially attracted to Virtual PBX because of its deep feature set and the web-based flexibility the company provides."

The main advantage for switching over to Virtual PBX's TrueACD is that callers can contact anyone in a company even if they are not aware of their direct extension. This helps to significantly reduce customer wait time, thus increasing customer satisfaction . Employees can log in or log out themselves therefore managers can save quality time. This is possible because TrueACD queues include presence management. Earlier, managers had to enter or change phone numbers as employees changed shifts.

Virtual PBX Complete is Virtual PBX's new VoIP system. It merges traditional analog telephony with VoIP technology and it also welcomes open standards. This avoids customers being tied to proprietary technologies and allows clients to mix and match as and when required for each individual employee.

Saunas????

Do saunas help you lose weight and flush toxins out for healthier skin? If not, then what are the purposes of them?

A sauna helps to open up the pores in your body so that toxins can be released, and then you shower with cold to close the pores again. When you take a sauna, the heat pumps up blood circulation near the skin and stimulates sweating. Sweating is so important to the health

Beyond being relaxing the sauna gives relief from the common cold, arthritis, headaches, hangovers and "just about anything that ails you.

Sweat also has the function of being a judicious garbage collector. During a 15-minute sauna, sweating can perform the heavy metal excretion that would take the kidneys 24 working hours. Ninety-nine percent of what sweat brings to the surface of the skin is water, but the remaining one percent is mostly undesirable wastes. Excessive salt carried by sweat is generally believed to be beneficial for cases of mild hypertension. Some mental hospitals use saunas in their rehabilitation programs to pacify patients

A sauna helps improve blood circulation, strengthen the cardiovascular system, relax muscles, increase flexibility, and relieve pain. Other sauna health benefits include ease of joint pain and stiffness without toxic side-effects. In a sauna, you'll burn hundreds of calories without hours on the exercise bike or treadmill.

. Saunas deep cleanse the skin. Sauna health benefits include removal of toxins and mineral waste, burning of calories and weight control Sauna health benefit is an improved immune system. In a hot sauna, your body is tricked into believing it has a fever. Your internal and external organs conspire to rid you of this fever. They quicken their pace, ridding you of toxins like heavy metals, uric acid, and lactic acid.

Generally 15-30 min at a time is reccommended.

i have something much better for you to flush out all of the toxins.....check out this site........www.cleansewithcgnj.com

you will love it

As far as I know they do. But that is like why do they have hot tubs or Jacuzzis (etc). Some people like feeling the way they they do when they are there.

saunas only make you lose weight because you are getting rid of the water that is in your body. something like 98% (I think) of our bodies are water, so sweating it out will temporarily allow you to lose weight.

Saunas allso open uo your pours and allow you to swaet out toxins

weight loss incurred during the sauna is likely to be water-loss from perspiration.

What are the benefits of taking saunas?

I've been told that saunas don't cause you to lose weight, just water weight, not fat.

So what are the health benefits of using saunas, other than I just feel good afterwards?

They won't make you lose any fat, that's correct.

I generally use the sauna before a workout (I do my stretching in there) to help loosen up my muscles; and after (with more stretching) to help prevent cramping. Plus it's just a nice way to relax and rest before I go home.

i have a sauna i use at my loft.. basically i notice i lose water weight.. and my metabolism goes up slightly after from the heat.. after working it it relaxes your muscles.. it also brings water through your pores and lets your skin breath causing better skin and detoxing it.. if you have the water mist sauna is helps lungs and emphysema

The feel good is due to the sweating.
Yes, sweating is great. Just
make sure you drink plenty before you
go in and dont talk because your lips
will dry out QUICK.
The sweat is water, but it does contain
the nasty toxins that we humans take in
through the food we eat, the air we breath,
and the things we put on our skin.
Thats why were blessed because we CAN
get rid of toxins that way. Pigs and certain
other animals cant sweat so all the crap
(literally) they eat stays in their meat. ewww.
But yeah, It also increases your blood flow.
So drink water, sauna, sweat, drink water.
It flushes crap out like nobody's business!

How does the dose of Far Infrared delivered by saunas compare with the dose from sunbathing?

Hi

I have been reading about Far Infrared saunas. I'm wondering what dose of Far Infrared they deliver over, say, 30 minutes, and how that would compare with the dose of Far Infrared I'd get from spending 30 minutes sunbathing in the Australian summer sun instead?

Thanks.

If the only source of heat in the IR sauna is from the radiation (specifically, if the air temperature is comparable to that of Australian summer) then you can use your own sense of skin heat to compare them. Which is too bad in a way, because my tiny physicist mind wants to think up a way to use Planck's spectral energy formula, the area and temperature of the IR radiator, and solar irradiation data to make an ironclad comparison formula. I'd guess the saunas are about the same as beach life, or who'd want to use one? And they're probably adjustable.
P.S. You refer to the exposure as a "dose". It's not harmful like X-ray or UV radiation, you know. Coming near anything hot, like a woodstove, subjects you to the same far-IR radiation.

What are the health benefits of Saunas and Steamrooms?

I belong to a health club this summer that has a Sauna and steamroom. They are really relaxing, but are they good for you otherwise? The sauna is 180 degrees, and the steamroom is 110 degrees, so they make you sweat a lot, and lose a lot of water, so unless they are good for you I don't want to use them.

I think the idea is that saunas and steamrooms help you to release the toxins through your pores. Sweating vigorously for awhile can also improve the condition of your skin if you wash it right after. There's also some belief that it relieves pain related to breathing problems, arthritis, and allergies. The whole process of letting yourself sweat like that is very cleansing in a New Age sort of way, and doing it every once and a while is probably quite beneficial, as long as you drink lots of water after to rehydrate yourself.

cleans pores good for skin

Steam rooms and saunas are great for relaxing, releasing the toxins from your body, and help to lose water weight. They have great benefits from using them so keep using them. I used to go into traditional native sweats that get ten times hotter than any sauna or steam room. If you have trouble trying to breathe, lean forward and take deep breathes. And if you don't like to use them, just go like once or twice a week. But yes they are good for you.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!

What is the purpose of "wet" and "dry" saunas in gyms?

I know they can be used for relaxation but do saunas serve any weight loss or fitness purposes and what exactly is the difference between them?

check this out http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-sauna.htm

not as much as they could I think. the sweat maybe.

dry sauna is called far infrared sauna i think. wet is the old fashioned typ good luck

one is "WET" and the other is DRY" lol......it has to do with the amount of water or steam in the air.

I think wet sauna's open your pores and releases sweat, and dry just makes you sweat. They are both supposedly good for you.

these saunas are used for relaxation

no they dont make scars go away. However they are suppose to clease the toxicins from your body and aid in weight loss.

Never heard of an infrared sauna.
Heard of tanning salons.
Tanning salons are good for acne.

what is the purpose and benefits of saunas?

i like them personally. do they just make u sweat? is there some science behind it? why r they good?

Sauna stimulates the circulation and increases the blood flow to the muscles and skin. First heating up your body and then cooling off right after gets your circulation going, which is almost the same effect as doing sports (except you're not using your muscles).
You sweat because your body is trying to cool off by releasing water from the skin. That's why you need to drink lots of fluids afterwards. Sauna does not make you lose weight. If you weigh yourself afterwards, you will be lighter, but due to the fluid loss from sweating.

Sauna is actually quite a lot of work for your circulatory system because it has to adapt quickly to the constant temperature changes. You shouldn't go into the sauna too often if you have heart problems or weak vessels. But other than that, it's very relaxing and makes you feel wonderfully tired afterwards. I can only recommend it!

It helps open the pores, relaxes your muscles and just makes you feel good. That's just about it.

doesn't sauna makes you slim?? i go to the steam room,,i love it there,,but do they make you lose fat in there??

Well, it opens the cells of youe body so every inch in your body will breath easily, and it melts the fat in your body.

Sauna's are also very good for your skin. Not only in that they clean your pores, but because they make it very easy to scratch off dead, dry skin - when you go into a sauna, be sure to bring a pummus stone or a luffa spunge for this. And be sure to put on some lotion when you're done.

The warm, moist air also does wonders for the lungs. Makes you cough up the bad stuff. When I was a smoker, my respiratory system never felt so good as when I had just taken a sauna. The same is true for chest colds. Try dripping some vicks vapor rub in the water that you throw on the stove.

What are the most efficient heaters in Infrared saunas, carbon heaters, ceramic or any others?

There are many infrared saunas on the market and every manufacturer/reseller claims that their product is the way to go. But there are no reputable reviews like consumer report or FDA

ceramic are the best

What type of wood and glue is used for building saunas?

The sauna has high temperature that may affect the glue to evaporate and couse health problems. Is this true?

I do know that the inner walls of a sauna are almost always made of pine wood.

Edit:
this page:
http://cankar.org/sauna/building/design.html
has some recommendations on wood types for benches and furniture.

These companies sell DIY sauna's:
http://superiorsaunas.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=95
http://www.greatsaunas.com/index.cfm
for some of the parts they list the type of wood they use

For the glue, I think that a water based wood glue is your best option.

Advantages Of Infrared Saunas

If you have ever used a conventional sauna you have most likely discovered them to be extremely hot and incredibly wasteful.  Yes, they do get your body quite warm, but hot rock saunas take a long time to warm up.  Likewise, you may have to splash water on those rocks to spread the heat around [...]
