I haven't heard of it, but I went to the dermatoligist and he suggested:
Cetalphil Deep Cleansing Face Wash
and
Cetaphil Mosturizing Lotion
My face has cleared up alot and it doesn't sting or anything! All you have to do is put it on the in morning or in the shower and leave it on for a few minutes then wash it off!
You can get HUGE packages of it a Costco or small bottles at CVS. I think Walgreens has it.

Hydroquinone (HQ) is usually the ingredient that is found in skin lightening products and has been proven to work well. but then again i have hard to work with skin.
but i also know people who have tried it and it didnt work very well.
i would recommend acnefree, you can buy it at walmart or places like that, about $20.

i'm twelve and having difficulty getting rid of my acne. I started getting it around 10 years old and its just been getting worse. i've been searching around for a good cleanser and i hear the serious skin care glycolic(sp?) cleanser is very good. so if you have tried this can you please tell me if you like it? and also, what other products from the line are helpful? thanks a bunch.
I have had mutiple friends tell me it works great.
Also, my doctor prescribed me with this cream called DUAC, and I pretty much swear by it. It's not too expensive and you only have to wear it at night!
Make sure your hair is always clean because grease from your finger or the front of your hair could be making your skin oily.
If you have spots, don't pick them or squeeze them. Leave them alone. However, some zits need to have the cover or "top" to it taken off. But please, don't overdo it. Don't tear up your skin trying to get the top off a zit! If you gently squeeze after doing so, the puss will come out of the zit, unclogging the pore. After you do this, put the cream or gel with the benzoyl peroxide in it on top of where the zit used to be. This can possibly clear a zit right up!
Try this quick fix for your blemishes! Obtain equal parts water and baking soda, and mix it together! Apply with a regular-size Q-Tip directly on the pimple. Do not rub in. Will dry zit and decrease redness. After mixture is dry, apply a toner/cleanser/moisturizer. This is optional, but can help your skin feel smoother.
Make a routine. Exfoliate once a week with normal skin, and twice a week for oily. This keeps the skin fresh and helps to reduce black heads. Also try using a facemask once a month.
If you have oily skin use a bit of vinegar mixed with water, seeing as the vinegar can be too strong. Rinse your face with this mixture 2-3 times a day. May burn around infected areas and zits and/or pimples.

Has anyone use Countinously Clear by Serious Skin Care?
I'm having some problems with acne. I little pimples all over my face and my pores are huge. I've tried Proactive and find it too harsh. I was considering buying this product but need some feedback first.
I have struggled with acne for a long time, but finally my face is pretty much clear.
I tried pro-active and I feel it isn't any better than the cheap face wash.
I wash my face in the morning and evening with a Clean and Clear foaming cleanser, I scrub gently for 1 minute, then I rinse thoroughly with warm water (if you don't rinse all the way you can break out worse). I also use differin one day a week and it slowly peels my skin so that the new fresh layer of skin is visible. I also use those oil sheets and blot my face throughout the day in the hot weather.
Just take as best care of your face as you can. It's not the product that makes the difference, it's how you use the product.
p.s. often times a healthier diet can make the difference. eat leafy green veggies and drink plenty of waters and eat fresh fruits, and avoid milk.

I usually use Neutrogena Oil Free it prevents and treats any acne without drying out your skin. Then an SPF 15 moisturizer such as Neutrogena Combination skin or OIL of OLAY ( I know) with SPF15. I would also put on a mask such as MINT or CLAY to tighten your skin and close any big pores you might have. Sensitive skin cream for shaving and you're set.

Does proactive really help???
ProActive wasn't strong enough for me, so I use the drug store version. It's called Acne Free Severe Acne, and it's bottled similarly to ProActive (cleanser, toner, acne lotion and a special night cream) and it's in orange bottles. It works much better (for me) than Proactive or any other acne lines I've tried and it's the same price. It also helps with scarring. You can buy it at any drug store (I buy mine at CVS) and they sell it at mass retailers (like Meijer if you're from the midwest).
