What are some cute stocking stuffer ideas for a 13 year old girl? Details included.?

She is very girly.
She loves the color pink.
Her favorite stores are VS Pink, Hollister, Aeropostale, etc.
She also loves walking around the spa accessories isle in Target.

Money, shop gift cards, bath beads, bath salts, bath oils, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, nail polish, nail brushes, etc.

gift cards! and nail polish. all girls love nail polish.

what's your budget?

i'm thirteen, but i'm not too girly.
i always love getting candy!
but if she's girly i guess she'd like a bunch of small/sample size perfumes/lotions/spa stuff. or some bracelets from hollister or her favorite store.
little bottles of nail polish, small makeup items, etc.
and maybe some gift cards, not too expensive, like 5 dollars so you can give her a variety.
and if you decide to get makeup or something make sure it's not cheap-o, she will know the difference and want something at least decent :)

you could go to the dollar bins in the cosmetic sections at target. they have like mini shampoo bottles and body wash and stuff for nails. if you look around you will find some really neat things for her

-Sephora Make-Up
-Clinique Happy perfume (the solid sticks)
-Juicy socks
-OPI nail polish
-Slippers
-Candies
-Compact
-Zippo lighter with a cool design (I know she's 13 giving her a lighter won't make her start smoking but she'll think it's really cool :)-)
-Gift Cards
-Playing Cards

money. when i was thirteen money money money.
also get her some nice makeup from sephora. if you get cheap makeup shell know. maby a gift card to star bucks or another coffee shop.
nail polish, cute jewelry.

ewww what kind of a freak is she PINK!!!!!! gross nothing!!!!!!!!!!

i suggest lotions, nail polish, make up, hair accessories...that type of stuff and maybe gift cards to her favorite stores

Drop some little things of "Beauty Rush" body spray by VS Pink in there, maybe the new Taylor Swift album "Fearless", an iTunes card if she has an iPod, new lip glosses, new bracelets or necklaces (on sale at Aeropostale!!)
Some bath fizzers for a soak in the tub..some candy..lots of little things are out there !

the small bottles of lotion at Bath & Body Works... My 14 yr old loves those! Maybe pink cell phone case...those cute feathery ink pens... girly stickers, or accessory jewlrey.

I would suggest a bunch of samples of perfume, lip glosses, maybe include a VS pink stuffed dog[very small, cute, and usually free with a purchase] some underwear, hair spray, deap conditioner, fake nails, deoderant, lots of candy etc. thats what i usually get in my stocking.lol

#1: World Market had hemp tattoo kits. I got one for my daughter. They have stencils and everything to help them. Hemp lasts like a temporary tattoo, or even a little longer. I got mine about a month or so ago, but if they don't have them, you might be able to find them in other places.

#2: My other idea is go get her a gift card for a local salon and go with her. Have a girl's day, getting a mani, peti and facial!

im 13 and im the same, here are some ideals:
earrings, nail kit, nail polish (BRIGHT COLORS), make up (lip gloss, eye shadow, eye liner, lip liner, ect.), small bottle of perfume that she can fit in her purse (i LOVE products by "calgon"), hair products, hair clips, cds, braclets, makeup bags, CANDY, ect. These are all the things i love having and getting and theyre easy to find, inexpenisve, and all my friends and me love them. i hoped i helped

p.s. also great stocking stuffers are the "bon bons" (nail polish) and "smackers" (lip gloss and make up), they are small and easy to carry around i love them!

Nail polish, VS pink photo frame, fuzzy VS Pink socks, Hollister body spray & lotion, VS Pink lipgloss (Beauty Rush), slippers from Aero, sunglasses from Aero, Nail files and toe seperators (manicure kit)

What are good trade organizations that a marketing and creative services agency should belong to?

We work with retailers and luxury/prestige clients in beauty/spa, fashion/accessories, home/interiors, travel and hospitality, and real estate.

As always, the answer to a question like this depends on what you want to accomplish. Generally, the purpose of networking is to get prospects.

If that's what you're hoping to do, go to events/places that either have prospects or else have centers of influence on your prospects. For example, you may wish to consider travel associations, health & beauty associations, etc.

For programming built around big brands, check out the American Marketing Association. If you're targeting smaller businesses, you'll still get good info from AMA, but you may not find the relationships you're seeking to move your company forward.

The AIGA (American Institute for Graphic Arts) at the national level also targets large agencies and big brands, but the local chapters have terrific activities where you can meet good people you can work with on smaller projects.

Don't forget to have your own value proposition and 30 second elevator speech figured out before you venture into the networking world!

I need to know what sort of accessories can be added to a standard tub in order to make it jet-like, spa-like.?

I want some accessory to allow my tub to become LIKE a jet tub, or even an air tub. i have looked everywhere online and cannot come up with ANY answer, but I KNOW these things exist. please help me with an available website. NOTHING on ebay was able to come up either!

http://www.ib3health.com/products/BathandSPA/TurboSpaIndex.shtml

They make drop in devices in the health care field to make a tub into a jet tub. Expensive of course. Cumbersome.

In uk

You can also buy mats that lie on the bottom of the bath or a thing that clips onto side of bath, but have been unable to find either online

Any Angel Investors interested in an established spa and billiard retailer in west Michigan w/ great potential

The business has been open 18 months and why it has such great potential is that the building is on a lease to buy option from another angel with a current upside of over $150,000+ He even applies 9% of lease payments to the agreed upon sale price! A great line of spas with a huge territory, so growth there. Business runs with a staff of one right now as the service and delivery work is subbed out. Interent sales of parts, accessories taking off, billiard and some pool sales finish the package. I am looking for a partner or someone to sell it to and brokers are expensive and can take a year to produce results. Business is located DIRECTLY in front of the area's biggest competitor so the traffic flow is good and we don't need to advertize much as they do a ton. Needs a dedicated a strong salesperson and some cash to change signage and spruce up exisiting parking lot.

I know of two angel groups in the Michigan area that you may want to contact

Grand Angels - Grand Rapids, MI http://www.grandangels.org/
Great Lakes Angels - Bloomfield Hills, MI http://www.glangels.org/

CNN Money http://money.cnn.com/2006/02/28/magazines/business2/angelinvestor/index.htm has a very good article on angel investors, what they typically look for, what kind of investments they support, etc.

Here are other places where angel investors come and those looking for funding can come and pitch their business plans. Be sure to have a strong business plan and describe what makes your business idea stand apart:

Why won't my new iPod nano charge on my iSound Spa Docking Station? ?

Just got the new iPod nano and when i put it on the docking station it says that "the iPod accessory will not charge the iPod", yet i can still listen to music on my dock. I just can't charge it. How can i fix this problem?

Yeah, my new nano worked with my dock but wouldn't charge, same as my car charger. It's not a problem with your equipment, it's Apple.

Planned obsolescence is how Apple and Microsoft ensure the revenue stream.

Apple wants you to buy a new charger and that's pretty much what you have to do. My advice is to make sure you get one that has a wall unit and a car unit. It costs less to buy the package than to buy them individually.

The system is not compatible with your new ipod I had the same probably with my ipod touch and the system is that I have is from my ipod nano and it will not charge it either and it will still play my music also, but it will not charge it.

its not compatible with the ipod. you need to get a different charging unit for it and just charge your ipod on your pc

Would this bed look good in a spa-themed room?

http://www.homedecorators.com/detail.php?parentid=53279&aid=nxtg
I want it to be relaxing and spa-like, but still comfy and inviting. I'm thinking of painting the walls a sort of beige color. Or possibly a light green? Any ideas on anything (bedding, accessories, wall color)?

cute bed!! i think it would go

yeah try like a light beige and then the sheets or something a mint green?

yeah! it is reallyyy beauttiful!

just out of curiosity haven't you already asked this question but in diff. words about the bed. but it would look good in a spa themed room but i do not like the bed. sorry it is complicated.

My Spa/Japanese Room?

I am doing my room in a Spa/ japanese Type style and I was wandering what would be some cool accessories to put in it. I know like big urns with pebbles and stuff, but I mean Like what are some cute accessories.... not so much like pillows or blankets or any of that... like wall hanging ideas or plants or things like that. Thanks sooooo much!!!!
Please Help!

bamboo plants for sure...
japanese paintings (trees, birds, or fish)
maybe some fountains
or candels
statues
or incense,

keep in mind the Japanese love nature so Ashley is right about the bamboo and the candles also plants if you are afraid of a fire you can buy battery operated candles that look real also you can get some cool pictures of Japan of the Internet and from them

You can find some very pretty folding screens that would be good to add depth against a wall or hide unsightly things. If you want it to be very authentic, look into tatami mats. Bamboo is always good, so are cherry branches and Japanese plum branches actually in the room or as a pattern.

look at ltdcommodities.com, collectionsetc.com, some times i see real neat asian inspired decor

My walls are buttercream yellow, and I've decided to add black and white accessories?

What fabric/color should I use with which to upholster my sofa? What kind of coffee table should I buy? I would like the mood to be as a spa on Park Ave. with vintage elements, although this is my apartment.

Ballard Designs and Brocade have catalogs with lots of products that would work and really cute ideas. (They have websites, as well.) Overstock.com often has some unique pieces, as well. All of these sites have furniture (sofas, tables, etc) as well as accessories. Macy's has some great tables and sofa options - even to use as an idea to take to a local furniture store.

www.brocadehome.com
www.ballarddesigns.com
www.overstock.com
www.macys.com

If you want to add 'color' you can always introduce sage green, wine or red to the mix. They'll all go well with the black & white, too.

A simple black sofa would be a nice base - then you can add pillows/throws in colors to accent. There are also some unique patterns - black & white scroll or fleur de lis print, or small diamond print. A jaquard fabric is nice, too (where you have a, for example, black on black print, or white on white). Even a small diamond quilted look can be sleek and sophisticated - just have to go out looking and see what's in your price range and what you can get in a fabric you like. If you have pets, you'll want something that doesn't hold the pet hair, too.

As far as tables go, it really depends on your space. It may be beneficial to find a table that offers you additional storage (think a cube table that the tops open for storage and they separate for additional seating; or a large ottoman that opens for storage and coordinates with your sofa, it can also be used for seating). Here's a pic of one of those tables, in case I didn't do well explaining: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=252299&CategoryID=29845&LinkType=EverGreen

Or forego a coffee table and do some unique end tables, even....keep a nice open/spacious look.

Best wishes....start clipping pics of what you like or what draws your attention, then start shopping and pull it all together based on your box of faves! It will be fabulous!

What roles do dogs play in the hollywood scene? Are they treated right by celeberties?

Is it right for celebrities to pamper dogs by taking them to spas or provide expensive treatments? Is it right to use them as a fashion accessories and be shown in the red carpet? Can that cause the dog to lose control or have psychological problems? How should dogs really be treated?

I don't think doggy spas really do any harm.

As far as lugging the dogs around in their purses and such....well, I think it's weird and just a bit sad. As to whether or not it will make the dog have psychological problems, that's probably dependent on the dog itself. I don't think it would make an otherwise healthy dog insane, but a dog with existing problems could be made worse by that kind of thing.

I really think dogs should be treated like dogs. They don't understand being pampered because....well, they're dogs. But I can't complain....at least celebrities are caring for their pets. They're well fed, housed, and loved. I think it's more important to worry about and be angry at those who mistreat their animals in the worst ways; starvation, inadequate shelter, physical abuse, and abandonment.

I want to start a fashion boutique and spa. Can anyone help me that has experience in either of these...PLease

I want to sell name brand and high fashion clothing, handbags and accessories, mostly name brand. I will even be willing to put local designer's creations in my store.

I want to have a small intimate, but good quality spa to feature: nails, facials, massages, and nice hair extensions...

I need to know where I can get REAL (ligit, no scams!) wholesale name brand clothing, hand bags, shoes, and accessories.
And also wholesale salon supplies. I also want any info on how to get this whole business started and set up!
Any help you can give is soooooo appreciated.
oh and how do I get catalogs from companies to let me buy from them wholesale, or to let customers order from them wholesale.

There are great resources for you to get your questions answered regarding your business venture. Search for a community of business women online that can help you get your business plan together. You can possibly luck upon ideals and wholesale product distributors in your quest.

Check websites like SBA (small business association) as well as the BBB (better business bureau). I don't know what state you are in but in Michigan there is a women's business community that offers assistant to women desiring to start or have started their business. And you would be privvy to one on one contact with those who are in the same business as you. That site is www.miceed.org or www.miwomen.com .

Hope this helps. Cheers to you in all your endeavors!
