New Day Spa Offers Physical, Spiritual Stress Relief Patch.com
A spacious new day spa in Fort Lee is offering its clients more than the various types of massage, body scrubs, skin care and body treatments, waxing, aromatherapy and other specialties commonly associated with upscale, New York City spas. It’s offering stress relief in the eastern tradition and a chance to get away—if only for a couple of hours—from the clamor of everyday life, say husband and wife owners Song Ho and Jina Seo of Spa Dew .
The motto of Spa Dew, which held its grand opening last week, is “Escape on a Journey of Wellbeing,” and just stepping foot in the new facility on Lemoine Ave. with its soothing music and calming fragrances gives one a sense of wellbeing from the outset.
“I have been getting massages ever since I was very young,” said Spa Dew manager Jina Seo, who was born and raised in Korea. “And I know it is mental relaxation, and it helps you physically as well as spiritually. It relaxes you, and with the bustle of everyday life, you need to get away from reality from time-to-time.”

Can I become a makeup artist by taking a skin care/spa training course?
I want to be a makeup artist. The cosmetology courses all offer only mostly hair training. So a few people have told me to try skin care courses. I'm not sure if you can be hired as a makeup artist with a skind care degree.
I think you need an esthetician's license........ check with Voc schools that offer this course. It's only a couple months, and then you're licensed to do it.
does anyone know any good websites where i can buy deep conditioner's or spa hair care?
I'm looking for some websites I can go to that sells deep conditioning treatments or some hair vitamins you can buy online from the spa. Does anyone know of any good websites ?
Search for store in your area. They will be able to tell you exactly what you need.
They sell hair products, make up and skin care, vitamins and supplements, energy drinks, etc.
They would probably have whatever shampoo or conditioner or whatever it is you are looking for. They also have a hair skin and nails vitamin.

Should I see a dermatologist or go to a spa for skin care?
I am 25 and still have peoblems with acne. I look at my skin up close and see so many holes, whiteheads, and blackheads.I am really noticing scars lately too. My skin just looks so dull. For once I would like to have smooth, healthy looking skin. I have tried the glycolic peel, and it did help a little, but my skin still looks dull. any suggestions of what to try next? will a dermatologist help, or should i try something else such as laser tx at the spa. please help. I want to feel pretty again, and feel better about myself.
You should definitely go and see a dermatologist, they really do help. I used to have very severe acne myself... I had whiteheads, blackheads, acne on my shoulders, chest, face and back. It was pretty bad. I tried everything even Proactiv, but that didn't even work. Whats great about the dermatologist is that they will look at your skin, and prescribe a prescription that especially suits your condition. Where as, most acne products just "treat" mild, general acne. I know it may take a while and a bit of effort from you (they prescribed me like 5 prescriptions when I first got there, but once you get better its only like 2), but let me tell you its all worth it. You probably can't imagine it right now, but you're only months away to clear skin. Good luck, and I hope I helped.
Is it better to see a dermatologist or go to a spa for the care of my skin?
I am 27 yrs old. I work at an automotive shop and live by the water, so there is a lot of humidity. I'm a single mom of 4 kids, so I have signs of not enough rest. My pores from my face are getting huge, I get a lot of white/blk heads, my dark circles are always there. I wanted to start getting facials, but I don't know if that's just a waste of my money, or should I just see a dermatologist. I don't know which one is worth my hard earned money, and which one will work. I'm tired of these huge pores!!!! I've tried a couple of regular brands but nothing seems to work on my face....I want a smooth face again!!!! I am fair skinned and I just started tanning, and I know it's unhealthy, but that's why I don't know which one to go with. The tanning also cause my pores to get huge.
I'm a medical esthetician in Florida and have battled with my own skin with Derms and Spa's before being a part of the field. To be honest Derm's majority of the time want to directly head for drastic and abrasive and or medication when it comes to a skin condition. If you go to a Spa, please go to a Licensed Medical Spa that a physician runs and or owns. (Just ask them when you call to make the Appt.) There you will have more options as far as regular maintenance facials, microderm tx and or chemical peels that will significantly make differences in pore size and texture of your skin. These treatments are also more affordable and less abrasive than doing something through a derm office. Also, if they are licensed under a physician you can ask about the OBAGI system. Which is excellent for sun damaged, chemically exposed or just clogged problematic skin. This system is an all around skin type miracle worker. It is somewhat of a process to go through because it takes a full 18 wks to go through the whole system....but absolutely worth it. I have seen dramatic results in every patient whose been on the system. It has retin A and hydriquinone in the system. Let me know how you progress. Good Luck
A spa upkeep and a MD (unless you have acne) may just put you on creams with a lot of chemicals.
Hot-Tub / Spa Care tips?
What is the best regimine to maintaining a spa with the least amount of harsh chemicals?
My repair guy recommended:
Ozonator + mineral purifier + weekly shocks with renew, then clarifier when needed (He said this would eliminate the need for
ANY bromine)
Already I found this information to be deficient in that my water was too acidic, so I added a buffer.
What are the pros and cons of different regimines?
I am thinking of adding an ozonator to my hot tub - I have several friends that swear by them. BUT, they are still adding SOME bromine. Not as much or as often, but the ozonator has not eliminated the need for a few chemicals.
where can I purchase REVLON SPA Moisture Stay FACIAL CARE?

Spa tub care?
How do I take care of a spa tub??? ya know, the ones with the special jets and things.
Can I use bubble bath, bath beeds and bath salts in them???
This is a spa bath tub in my house, not your basic outside spa or hot tub.
The kids would have so much fun!! if that happened. Guess we gotta start keepin' the bubble bath hidden now.
I'm not sure if your tub is a small bathroom tub or a large spa. For a small inside tub that you drain after each bath, use whatever you like, but you will have to clean the residue from bubble bath, etc.
I have a large spa on my screen porch that will accommodate 6 to 8 people, depending on how friendly they want to be. I change the water about once a month. In between times, I add a cup or so of bleach to the water maybe once or twice. There is little odor and prevents the slimy feel that can build up on the spa. The chemical sold in spa stores are expensive and work no better than just plain bleach. Good luck.
