What is the best place to go when out for a relaxing spa getaway in the San Francisco Bay Area?
It does not have to be in the SF Bay Area, but places like Santa Cruz or Monteray Bay.
The Napa Valley which is about 1 hour north of SF. Not only is the wine great, but the town of Calistoga is famous for it's hot springs and spas. The two places I would recommend is Soliage in Calistoga. It is a new resort with all the amenities and lots of spa treatments, a restaurant, and several pools. My other choice would be Indian Springs resort also in Calistoga. Both are close to town where you can walk or at Soliage they offer free bicycles with every room.
It depends on what you want. If you want to soak in hot tubs, get a mud bath, swim, get a massage, and walk around the woods, Calistoga would be nice.
I personally enjoy women's day at Kabuki Springs spa. Steam, soak, massage, lying around, eating snacks, surrounded by very quiet voices.

We would be traveling from the Rhode Island area, and were planning on doing this in her last trimester as a last hurrah before the baby arrives. We are looking for place that would have multiple treatments for her as well as myself (who is not pregnant), and a place that does belly casts is a definite plus! Any ideas would be appreciated! I'm hoping to find a nice place in a drivable distance.

Spa Day or Spa Weekend Getaway?
I live in chicago and would like to look into going to a spa for a weekend or even just overnight. I would be willing to travel as well to a spa getaway. The thing is, however, is that I don't want to make it an extremely expensive trip. I was hoping to do it with my mom. Any suggestions of places that are good, nice, relaxing but won't cost an arm and a leg?!
In town you can go to the Dana spa and hotel on State St. If you want to travel the Kohler Spa in Sheboygen, WI is wonderful too.

Inexpensive romantic spa getaway???
I am looking for a nice spa getaway that won't break the bank. I live in FL so something in driving distance would be great however I can fly stand by for free so traveling isn't a problem.
Try renting a motel or a hotel. Another suggestion would be the Sybaris. My husband took me there on our honeymoon and I absolutely loved it. It's not very expensive either and it does have a spa as well as a restaurant. They also have a pool and whirlpool in the room with a waterslide and waterfall. Good luck!

Don't forget to upgrade to executive club access - soooo worth it.

Steer clear of any Stamford hotels/resorts, trust me! (Paid $600 for one night and checked out as soon as we could as the place was dirty, service was non-existant and it was just appalling... my friends stayed at the one near the airport and the bell boy told them to carry their own bags)
