Is Geocities a good source to market my "work from home" spa product?

You should get a real domain and host, create a site and go from there. That's what I do for all my companies.

getting in the market is hard. I have a anti-wrinkle, anti-aging skin care system I created, and started to go the route of a MLM for it, but decided it would be easier to simply locate an existing large MLM or Network Marketing company, and license the product to them exclusively.

You might want to consider that - if you have any other questions - feel free to contact me through my profile

Geocities often doesn't work. I get frustrated when I see Geocities in the address line thing. Personally, I would not use Geocities. Definitely go with something else.

One of the biggest drawbacks to geocities is that annoying ad that runs alongside the entire web page. If you must go with a free site, go with one that uses a banner instead along the top of the site.
I often suggest http://www.bravenet.com because of the easy click-and-build features, the adds they provide, and everything is upgradable to ad-free if you so decide late on.

What do you think of Bath & Body Works True Blue Spa? Good Product or Sucks? Specifically the stuff for feet

I just got the True Blue Spa Stuff for Feet From Bath & Body Works. I got it on sale, I’m just wondering if you have used anything for the feet. The “Cracked Heel” Stuff in particular and if so if it really works.

I actually prefer the true blue spa products in bath and body. I work there and took advantage of the tbs sale. The products are a lot better in quality than the signature collection.

Thats so funny becuase I just got the "shea it isn't so" from the true blue spa from bath and body works and i think it works best if u apply it to your feet and then put socks over it that way it locks in the mosture ... and it works really good! =)

i've tried the body scrub from true blue spa, it's actually really good even if it is a bit pricey. i dunno about the cracked heel stuff, but just go on their website and look it up they usually have reviews on there.

I've used some True Blue products...they were ok from what I remember, however, the BEST products for soft feet I have ever found are from Avon. I put on the "Active" line cream called Foot Cushion cream in the morning and "Footworks" overnight treatment for night, socks and go to sleep. I have heard from my friends they love the Footworks cracked heel cream for no more "hoof". These products are substantially cheaper than True Blue Spa. Try them, you'll see. Your feet will be as soft as a baby's butt in just a few days.

How do you make spa products using things around the house?

I am extremely bored as I have had 6 weeks off school so I decided to do a sorta spa thing and pamper myself. How can I make some products such as face masks cuz I haven't got any in the house? Also, has anyone got some ideas to get rid of boredom in other ways?

My skin is usually dry but during the summer my t-zone gets oily, so I mix half a teaspoon of baking soda with my moisturizing cleanser to open my pores for a deeper clean.

Some good moisturizing masks are a mashed avocado, a teaspoon of tumeric powder mixed in half a cup of plain yogurt, or a honey mask. Honey mixed with brown sugar is good for exfoliation.

A moisturizing body scrub is 1 pt white sugar, 1 pt vegetable oil, a dash of skin smoothing lotion or aloe vera gel, and any essential oil you have to make it smell good (lavender is calming, my fave).

Tea bags (caffeinated) or cucumbers reduce puffiness and circles around the eyes.

And I know people who swear by using mayo on dry hair, letting it sit for a few minutes and then rinsing it out. It's supposed to add a ton of shine and moisturize well- most of my friends just do from their ears down though (to avoid want a greasy scalp).

When I get bored I like to give myself an awesome pedicure. I soak my feet in warm water with bubble bath, use a pumice on them, the works. It makes me feel better and takes a long time. And don't worry, school's about to start back up. You'll be busy again in no time!

your blend it all and put in on your face and leave it for 1 hr

well for face mask you could use peanut butter
look online they have plenty of things you could use around your house.

Going to a spa party hosted by coworker for Sensaria products, should I bring cash?

I don't know if any of you have gone to something like this before, but a coworker is hosting a spa party at her house tomorrow to sample spa products and then everyone can order what they want, similar to the way companies like Pampered Chef sell their products. When people host things like this, do you usually pay when you're there, or later? Would just bringing my checkbook be okay? Thanks for any help!

As you say if you are only ordering what you want, you shouldn't pay until you receive the products. I don't think you have to bring cash with you.

What is the best website or way to make your own spa products?

Hi. I just opened a spa and just came out with my own perfume line for it. I use Obe products from Israel, I believe and it is getting costly. So as my fragrance, I want to make my own bath salts, oils for the skin, massage rub, facials, hand lotion, feet lotion, and more please.

You can either tell me or give me the site =o)

Greatly appreciated. If you have any questions you need help with, I'll be sure to respond to the fullest content.

Thank you.

Believe me, the best way is to go to your bookstore (Especially in the girl section!) Usually they have stuff about how to get rid of build up with lemon juice getting rid of dark circles with tea bags or cucumbers and so on. They also usually have specific warnings. You can also just browse in the book then type a special recipe on the internet and you'll find a lot more recipes. I do it almost all the time.

Where can i buy professional spa products?

I like products like obagi, glytone, etc. I dont want to always have to go to the spa to get these things. Anybody have any advice?

Go online the prices are much better there. You can try http://www.spalook.com or my favourite http://www.hqhair.com surprisingly too Victoria's Secret has a really amazing beauty section with a few great named products at a reasonable price. http://www.victoriassecret.com and for the most exclusive range try http://www.skinstore.com/brands/brands.aspx.

Survey on spa services/product?

I'm a licensed Esthetician struggling to find my first job due to my lack of retail experience. So I'm planning on starting up a spa in my home to get some experience.

My survey questions:
Type of skin/body services do you like?
What is your favorite product(s)?

How exciting for you..best of luck! Whatever services generate the most revenue for you, would be the service(s) to master and create your name with. Usually facials and the retail sale of the products you promote during the facial, will generate the most revenue. A great mani/pedi. should also be your forte. You want your clients back, time and time again.

My favourite spa products are..
1. Yonka Skincare - the best line, in my opinion..
2. OPI - the best polishes and essentials for a great mani/pedi.

Serious eyebrow waxing. My girl spends twenty-five minutes shaping my eyebrows. I feel like VIP. Her salon also uses the same type of room as the massage therapy rooms, I feel so relaxed. And it's just eyebrow waxing! But I appreciate it.

Good luck with your business venture!

What is the best product for hair removal for bikini, other than going to a spa and spend $45?

I would like to find out the best hair removal without causing bumps. I love to swimm and my bikini is very small. Everything I tried cause ugly bumps. Any good idea?

Are you talking about a Brazillan bikini wax? Then the best bet is wax it at the spa...
An ordinary bikini wax should only be $15 at the nail saloon.
Anwways, i've tryed shaving and the cream hair removers and they leave me skin so irrated.
The at home wax systems don't work at all.

I am opening a new spa/salon, what product range should i use?

The salon will specialise in facials, waxing, mani's pedi's, nails, body treatments, makeup etc.

Dermalogica, OPI, and as far as make up I would get something like yourname cosmetics and get your own line. Search online for make up companies- some even have mineral makeup.

What is the best way to market online my new home beauty spa products?

My goal is to obtain as many customers online as I can... any ideas???
Thank you!

I just started an online business, link below, and I am doing a number of things to promote it:

-sign up with google adwords
-make pages on myspace and squidoo
-optimize your place on the search pages
-put your url in every email and forum post
-start a blog
-use PPC (pay per click) services

Those are just a few....there are so many more, you can easily find ideas on any search engine search.
