What is the proper rate of tipping Spa attendants?

I will be having a Spa day and probably 3or 4 technicians will be providing for me. How much shoul I tip each one?

Tip them just as you would at a restaurant--10% to 20% or more for each service, depending on how satisfied you are with each service. So look at the cost of each service, and make your calculations that way based on your customer satisfaction.

How much water loss is normal in a hot tub that is covered and heated at 102F?

We usually dont loose more than a inch from normal water line, within like 7 weeks or more. Depends on how much cover is off. But when its not in use, it helps to lower the temp to 97 or even lower. Hope that helps

For anyone who has used the My Twinn doll Spa chair, how would you rate it?

I'm thinking about getting the Spa Chair from the My Twinn doll company, and I would like to know if the chair height and footrest can be adjusted. Does it have a suction on the bottom to keep it in place? How well does it work?

Getting a pedicure at a top rated spa?

I'm going to go get a pedicure and was wondering if it will last as long as the ones I get at regular nail places (usually 4 weeks).

They all last the same... the only difference is that at a spa they do more for you such as a longer pedicure session. As for the color and all, it will last the same so there isn't really a difference except for the higher cost and longer session.

Where can I get affordable nice hot spring spa in Palm Springs, CA?

I am looking for a weekend getaway. I heard you don't have to stay overnight at the hotel and you can still use their hot spring spa in a very low rate. I searched around in Google and I don't see where it is. Can someone help me please?

The previous respondent is right. Most of the day-use hot spring places are in Desert Hot Springs, just north of Palm Springs. Try Sam's Family Spa. You can use it for the day or stay overnight. It's a bit dated. There are at least a dozen others in DHS.

Anybody here been to and have tried "the Spa" in Greenbelt 1, Makati?

How would you rate the treatments they offer? Service? Overall experience?

I'm planning on making a reservation for me and my girl through their website. Do you know any alternate spas in Makati that's really worth visiting?

it's expensive. but then again, it's in a good location.the only thing i didn't like was the fact that they don't have a jacuzzi unlike other spas. aside from that, the overall experience was okay.

What is an average salary for a massage Therapist working for a spa?

I finished my 500 hours and have yet to put it to use in an actual work place... business is slow being a self employed massage therapist.

What is the going rate if the employer is hourly? What would I make an hour on average? What is normal hourly wage to ask for?

i currently work at a spa as a massage therapist. i work on call meaning if i dont have an appointment, i dont go in. i make 40 percent of what the massage costs. we charge 70 for an hour, i get 28 dollars. 50 for a half hour, i get 20.

What's the appropriate amount of tips I should give in a day spa?

For example: pedicure, facial and massage. Is that have a standard rate like we go to the restaurant need to give 15%. That's what I did, but I feel it is too much.

I've done 10% of the total cost. I posted a similar question and this is what I was advised to do. Good question.

I haven't had any treatments at the spa there, but I looked inside it and it seemed like a very nice & relaxing place!
I stayed at TI in April and it's a good hotel.

Any opinions on BLUE spa select dry cat food?

First question:
How would you rate this brand in comparison to Nutro Natural Choice, Felidae and Chicken Soup, cat lover's sole dry foods?

They say it contains NO animal by products, corn, wheat or soy protein, also gluten-free.

Second question: Is corn, wheat and soy bad for cats?

I'm trying to find the best dry food and would sincerely appreciate any opinions you may have.

The Blue Spay is supposed to be an excellent food. We don't have it locally so I have never been able to read the ingredient contents from their label.

Soy is definitely something you don't want in a cat food - the phytoestrogens in it can throw your cat's hormone levels off. Corn is also not good for cats - many foods you will find will have some form of corn as two of the first three ingredients.

Cat food should have 2/3 of the ingredients in high grade MEAT protein. The higher quality foods use millet or rice for the filler in their food

CA Natural uses just chicken and rice. I have a bag of Nature's Logic Duck and Salmon here now - duck meal, millet, chicken meal, chicken fat and salmon meal are the first listed ingredients - not a lot of the salmon. Each ingredient is listed by weight so usually the first three make up almost 90% of the food. Wellness and Natural Balance also make high quality cat foods.

Of the ones you mentioned Chicken Soup would be a good choice as ingredients read: chicken, salmon, chicken meal, fat, barley, white rice and oatmeal.

Felidae ingredients: chicken meal, turkey meal, brown rice, lamb meal etc.

It is best to vary your cat's menu around several brands of food so that they have protein sources other than chicken all their lives.

All the brands I have mentioned also have high quality canned foods which are much healthier for your cat than any dry food. So you should consider using canned food as many days a week as you can.
