Has anyone ever used the spa services on a Disney Cruise?
We are going on the Disney Magic next week. We've been on the Magic before, but this is the first time that I have signed up to use any of the spa services. I am scheduled for a manicure and massage. My question is, do the spa attendants try to pressure you to buy a lot of their products? If so, I may cancel the treatments because that makes me very uncomfortable. THANKS for any help!!
They don't hard sell you, don't worry.

Can anyone tell me about Planet Beach's Day Spa Services?
I received a $30 gift certificate to planet beach and I am not at all interested in tanning. So, I was wondering if someone who has been or works at a Planet Beach could tell me some of the other spa services they offer.
"Spa" in the name indicates that they do more than just a tanning. Give a call and ask.
Does anyone provide Spa Services out of there home?
I am a licensed Esthetician and would like to provide facials, manicures and pedicures out of my home. Just wondering how has this worked for anyone. The state that I live in I know all the rules and regulations, just curious to hear from anyone currently providing these services. Thank you.
I'm from Australia, so the regulations maybe different here, but I found the toughest thing to be was to get the permit. The bathroom had to be a ceratin distance from the beauty room etc. but apart from that everything runs smoothly. Good luck with your new venture. I reallhy hope it works out for you =)

Looking for a health spa kind of vacation - want to lose a bit of weight, do some hiking , get some relaxation and get away from it all. I guess Im looking fo a kind of resort but focussed on health, not food and alcohol.
A "Destination Spa" is what you are looking for, not a Resort Spa. Destination Spas are focused on health and life enhancement, feature great hiking as well as several other activities and offer healthy spa cuisine only, no distilled beverages (wine OK at meals).
Pricing is between $1,200 and 8,000 for a 7 day stay and is inclusive of meals, accommodations, activities and some spa services. The spa treatment services depends on the price. Less expensive = few to none, more expensive = more inclusive.
There are only about 30 Destination Spas in North America as compared to the thousands of Resort Spas which are more vacation and pampering oriented. The Southwest and Northeast offer several options with a few in the Midwest and South.

The costs are about the same as a nice spa in your home town. The Swedish massage is about $120.00, the hot stone massage is about the same. The only time you may get a little break int he price is if it is a shore day. The yoga and spinning classes are extra, but the gym and steam room is free. Theywill have a spa menu on carnival.com once you put in your booking number and pre register.

2 euro is OK. If you go to a big expensive spa you don't need to tip at all, I think. The price should be inclusive of service.
If the same person does both, 2 euro is fine for this person. If it is 2 different persons, maybe 2 euro each would be better.

How much tip should I give the stylists? I'm assuming there will be atleast 2 different workers for the haircut and waxing.
Hairdresser: 15% - 20%
