Combining the supple curves and lustrous finish of an acrylic spa with the highest quality swim current of an Endless Pool, the Endless Pool Swim ...

Iam considering buying an endless pool vs. a swim spa. Can anyone help me decide between the two?
I'd like to swim every day and I have an outdoor site in my backyard. However, my kids realy want a spa and I am wondering whether there is some good way of combining the two functionalities in one pool.
you can't swim in a spa because the temperature will cause you to have a heat stroke. get one or the other. best would be to go to a gym. get the spa
Good luck.
Has anyone used an automatic pool cleaner on an endless pool swim spa?
Just wondering if anyone has tried connecting one of the aquabot type pool cleaners up on an "endless pool"?
This "endless pool" what we call a jet pool? You swim against the current, it's about 8 feet long? If so, nope, why would you? It's like getting out an industrial shop vac to pick up a grain of sand. There's not enough of the pool for one to vac. Likely as well, it wouldn't do a great job. Too tight a space for their turning radius.
This was a joke, right?
Swim Experience in a Golden Wave Swim Spa Anyone?
Swam in an Endless Pool and Dimensions 1
Swimspa. Looking to install a pool. Loved the Endless Pool Swim but not the equipment that needs to be stored somewhere else and so very noisy. Dimensions 1 pool swim seemed inferior by comparison, and not quite deep enough. Any suggestions for a reasonable "treadmill style" pool for a good value and not a lot of noise??
Endless Pool with a sound dampened equipment chamber.
Swim Spa (Monarch) - what are they like to own?
We're thinking of splashing out on a large Monarch Swim Spa (4.5m one).
Feedback from owners would be appreciated, ESPECIALLY with respect to annual running costs (electricity, chemincals etc).
Is there a good sauna and swimming spa-like place around London?
I know places like that from other european countries. A spa-like place where you can swim in different pools and where they have different saunas you can go to. Does anything like that exists around London?
I was born and raise in London and don't believe that there are any natural ones like Badgastein, Badkleinkircheim, in Austria or Blue Lagoon in Iceland.
There are a few Lidos, which are just heated outdoor pools that open in the summer, but are not themic. We don't have the geology to get naturally heated water.
Even in towns Like Bath, Wells, Lemmington Spa, you might find a small pool, but not the complex style ones I think you mean. If you want to do something like that you have to go to one of the health Spas.
Is is alright for a baby (e.g 11 month old) to swim in a spa pool?
I know its hot in the spa afterall thats why its called a Spa pool, but I was shocked to see my baby cousin who is only eleven (11) months old in the pools with his Mum.
My parents have an outdoor hot-tub and I used to take my son in there when he was young. But it was only heated to body temperature, and we never had the jets on when he was in it. Therefore, it was absolutely no different to putting him in a bath. So it depends how hot the pool was......
I'd be a bit more hesitant to take him in a spa pool, but only because I wouldn't go in them myself, unless I knew it was a clean, well maintained spa.
Small in-ground pool or swim spa?
I have a small backyard, but my family really wants a pool. Well, we're divided: half want a pool (even a small one) and half want a hot tub. In any case, if we get a pool I want an inground one (so one of those inflatable pools is not an option for us--I hate the look and my town is cracking down on fences for them), with a graduated bottom (so little kids can get in safely). But then again, a hot tub is nice too. We can't afford or make space for both.
So I looked at so-called Swim Spas. I like their sizes, easy installation, and that they can be disassembled if we move. But they all seem to have flat bottoms and be really designed more for exercise. We're looking for family fun and relaxation.
Any suggestions? Do other options exist? I'd love to hear from others who have installed either small pools or swim spas. Thanks!
You answered your own question. A Swim spa is for exercise not lounging about in the summer pool. Some do have a hot tub end. You can always think about the future and that someone might decide they like swiming and put a Baud jet/Speck pump (That's the leading brand for swim spas) in a wall of your pool so you can get some good exercise out of it. Now you do have the best of both worlds.
Do you have a swim spa?
If so, how much did yours cost and what kind of features does it have? What were the installation costs like? I can't find prices for these things anywhere online and would like to know if they're even close to my price range before subjecting myself to a high pressure sales pitch.
Anyone have experience with a Swim Spa or equivalent?
Checked out an "Endless Pool" today. Though I loved it, the upkeep and the extra motors, filters, e.t.c.seemed overwhelming.Loved that we could also try it out. The price of the digging and concrete enclosure was also prohibitive.Any alternatives we could try in the Oakland /Bay Area of San Francisco??
Not sure what the cost is but they have a new one that is also a 12 person jacuzzi. That probably doesn't help with the price though..sorry..Good Luck.
What is the best O-ring material to use in a swimming pool/spa water environment?
A few years ago someone told me the best material to use for an O-ring seal in swimming pool and spa water was peroxide cured EPDM (ethylene propylene dimonomer). Is this still the case or is there a newer material which lasts longer in the chlorine water environment?
no epdm is the best
