What is a good menu for a Lingerie Wedding Shower?

For an interesting drink accompaniment, let fresh pitted cherries with the stems still on soak 48 hours in 100 proof vodka with a cup of sugar and one or two habanero peppers cut in half. It's like a sweet-hot burst of juciness!
For naughty spicy foods, I definitely suggest Americanised Sushi with a dipping sauce made by folding wasabi powder and a pinch of salt into whipped cream with a couple drops of green food colouring. Nothing too adventurous, just vegetables and maybe some crab or shrimp mixed with creamcheese. That way, it's still light for diet conscious partygoers, but it'll put a snap in their brastraps!
Anything too saucy or sticky or spillable is definitely OUT for a lingerie party. Someone will invariably get foody fingerprints all over the bride's beautiful new trousseau. Saucy Swedish meatballs will drip all over that sexy teddy and that's never fun.

i am 18, and i am getting married in june, and i am trying to pick out some lingerie for my honeymoon and wedding night. I am about a size 6, i wear a 34c, but i dont like my thighs, they are fat.

Since you do not like your thighs, you could wear some thigh high stockings in white, and even wear these under your dress during the ceremony. When you are ready for the night. leave the stockings on, undress completely and wrap yourself in a silk kimono, white or choose another color from your wedding. Light some candles, turn off the lights and celebrate your wedding

If I were you, I would visit a local lingerie store and actually try some of the stuff on to see what is flattering on you (remember you will have keep your panties on while trying stuff on, so where small, unobtrusive biege tone panties that aren't as noticeable).
When to put it on. Well, if you need help, you'll have to put it on under your going away clothes if you want to surprise him. Otherwise, I'd say just put it on in the bathroom in your honeymoon suite and let him wait on the bed. Anticipation is half the fun.
And wear what ever color you like! It's not your wedding dress, it's your lingerie. I personally wore white the first night and then got other colors for other nights. I will say that my husband says most guys Love the wedding looking lingerie.

Of course you can wear white. How would you explain not wearing white? You're only 18, so I assume this is your first marriage. You don't have to advertise your non-virginity by wearing a non-traditional color. Besides, do you think that anyone really cares if you are a virgin or not?

Enjoy the day with family and friends, take lots of pictures, thank everyone, and don't worry about every little thing. Bridal lingerie is underwear that you wear on your wedding day. Often is is specifically designed not to show under low cut or strapless dresses etc (the practical reasons) and also so the bride has something new and sexy on when she takes off the dress......AFTER the wedding!

I didnt wear my lingerie under my dress, it was a mermaid dress anyway so that wouldnt have been possible cuz my lingerie was like a short, black lacey dress. im sure he'll like whatever lingerie you wear as long as you feel sexy in it. its the confidence men like as well.
Over all it wont matter much to your future husband , all he cares about is comsumation the marriage.

I always consider lingerie to be more for the guys than for us. He's the one that looks at it anyway. What does your fiance like? Colors? Styles? If you don't know, you should ask. Online surveys (surveymonkey) about likes and dislikes are always a huge hit with my fiance. Now I know everything he likes, but whenever we're approaching an anniversary or his birthday I'll send him pictures of different stuff and let him choose. If he knows you're thinking about this now he'll be even more excited about your wedding night! ;-)
